Abdelaziz Alhodaby vs Calderano Takahashi XD R16 WTTSingapore2026

Racket speed from Bruna loaded that ball with spin. Take a look one more time. Push wide. Brief moment for some reason. Good misdirection with the upper body. Gifted long. It is nine game points. Only one needed. 11 to 1. Very strong statement in game number one. Hugo and Bruna just breaking on through. Only dropping. Just checking in. Hoping Yousef's fine. Oh what a receive. Catching the edge of the table though. In case it wouldn't have been tough enough already. Second bounce. Good hands. I was just thinking back to how it's going the other way at first. Beautiful counter. Quick anticipation to step around Yousef. A lot of players out here with sisters that are also players. Oh looking for that around the net shot but the post got in the way. Oh the reach. Edge here. Sounded like the edge of the racket as well. Full extension from Hugo and he finds the edge. Oh the counter comes back. The receive from Mariam was good but Yousef back up there from Bruna. And look at this scoreboard. Titles throughout Africa. And Deuce in game number two. Oh what a punch down the line. All the precision. Oh what a counter. Comes in fast and spinny. Yousef brings the receive game and Bruna like she was emailed yesterday to be ready for it. For the Egyptian pair here. Trailing 0-2. Oh the turn on this. Hugo Calderano recognizing an opportunity and sending that ball away. That ball was faster. Nice shallow spin leaving it nice and low for Bruna. The net made me wonder if there was a question about serve. Oh right back down the line. Sounded like the edge of the racket. And again a nice catch but this time with the racket. Match points for the Brazilians. Taking it. Heavy spin on serve. A couple of points for a couple of couples on the table that make the difference out here today. The Brazilians on through. The Pan Am leaders. World number two in singles. Hugo Calderano, Bruna Takahashi. One of the two best in the game from the Pan American region. Her and Adriana Diaz quite close in the rankings and as friends.
