Amber and I are somewhere in California. I've always wanted to come to California. I've never been here but it's we're just passing through so we're not like stopping anywhere or anything but we're at a shell and a pile. You want to tell them? You want to tell them? Amber ate some sweet potatoes and I had posted on her Instagram a reel where we were using this um the food comes out of the top and through a little hole and goes onto the spoon and you just feed her and it works great. Amber did great. I think we drove for about three hours. She didn't get fussy at all um but I did need to stop for gas anyway so we just stopped and we're just hanging out. I haven't gotten gas yet but we're just spending time together. So we are officially on our way back to Oregon. We left Isaac's parents um three well probably four hours ago but Isaac is calling us right now so I'm gonna go ahead and answer that and I'll see you guys in a little bit. So we just got off the phone with dad and he was taking a break and so we talked to him for a little while and I think Amber's close to getting ready for a nap so we'll probably get ready to go grab some gas and hit the road again and hopefully we make it to Bakersfield and find a good place to stop and sleep for the night. Um I just have a feeling that California is not going to be so so as easy to find like a nice gloves to stay at. Right now we're at a pilot and there's not even a gas station for the pilot. It's just the gas tank the gas what are they called um I don't I can't think of the word but it's it's just like the the pumps the gas the fuel pumps. There's no actual store for the pilot uh I don't know I think I saw a sign that said like no overnight parking so I don't know I feel like California may not as be as nomad friendly so we'll see we're making our way um yeah Amber's getting tired she's rubbing her eyes so we're gonna hit the road and I'm ready for this drive to be over with. If I see something really cool I'm gonna stop but I just don't think on this particular route I'm gonna see anything worth stopping for but we'll I guess we'll see we'll find out you guys are right there along with us for the ride so we're off again on the road let's go. We are stopped at a Love's just outside of Fresno, California. We went inside I got myself a sandwich I got Gilmore Girls on our laptop and we are just hanging out and we're gonna stay here for the night and head out in the morning and in the morning once we get to the Sacramento area we might be meeting up with a friend so I'm really excited about that so I'll see you guys in the morning. Amber and I are at a rest stop somewhere in California we were supposed to meet up with Donna Van Life but I didn't hear back from her um and I didn't know if maybe like she was set up and I just I didn't want to like pest her and we are in a hurry to get home so we just kept going um we're not too far from her so there's always a chance that we can um work out a visit or something we've talked about that before so unfortunately we didn't get to see Dawn but I'm sure that we will soon I think she's planning on maybe visiting in the spring or something I'm not sure I don't remember the conversation we had but we're just taking a break from the drive and then we're just gonna keep driving I think we are about six and a half hours from Eugene so we'll definitely be home tomorrow which I'm very very excited about I'm definitely ready to be back and I know that Isaac's ready for us to be back so do you like sweet potatoes my sweet potato yeah excuse you Amber and I are stopped somewhere in northern California at a pilot I went in and grabbed a sandwich we're taking a break from driving we're gonna drive uh one more hour to Ashland Oregon so the next time you see us we will be in Oregon but it's like all of a sudden it's winter time it did not feel like winter this entire drive until we got until about an hour ago but check out this view you guys that's just like right outside of the gas station this video does not do it justice but it's so gorgeous so we're gonna go ahead and drive that other hour I know Amber doesn't want to but um but then we're gonna stop for the night so here we go so we hit traffic for a hot minute it kept changing from six minutes to eight minutes to six minutes to eight minutes for like an hour so we stopped and we are just at a rest area I think it's seven feathers or something and we're just taking a break um I'm gonna feed Amber some baby food and some milk if she wants some um we're just gonna hang out for a little bit and then we're gonna hop back on the road she was getting restless she doesn't she likes when the bus is moving like fast she doesn't like if it's stopped or going slow and we just sat in slow traffic forever so she was not happy about that so we're gonna take a break and then we'll be back isn't that right you want some more is it so yummy you want some more um are you just a happy baby hmm are you a happy baby are you excited to see daddy are you excited to see daddy here you go up here you gotta look up you gotta look up Amber what are you doing drooly baby definitely had to throw that bib on you so you wouldn't get your outfit all wet yeah crazy girl crazy girl are you ready to see daddy yeah are you ready to go home see daddy are you excited to see your dad yeah you're my little everything you know that hmm we're gonna go show her what we did um you it's literally like nothing before y'all took out the windows and everything that the floor wasn't done or anything really so yeah let me reseal oh my god you make daddy not want to work look oh yeah it wasn't even it wasn't even gutted wow what do you mean it wasn't gutted like i don't even think i took the walls out yet i don't remember we have a floor oh yeah me and josh were up come in here bro you did that ember this is your house you're this is your house your bedroom's right there
