Hello everyone My name is Le Thi Thuy Linh 37 years old a university lecturer at Normandie Business School in the Republic of France I earned my master's degree from Paris School of Economics in 2013 and defended my doctoral thesis in economics at Paris Dauphine University in 2017 I am married and the mother of two sons currently attending elementary school and kindergarten My family's life in France is quite simple yet filled with joy from life's little things First the climate in France is quite pleasant—neither too hot nor too cold often pleasantly mild and warm A year here has four seasons just like in northern Vietnam In summer families often go to farms or spend time at the beach My children all love picking strawberries plums apples and harvesting tomatoes eggplants zucchini—just about any vegetables and fruits they can gather Then回家 to a meal my mother prepared with delicious dishes made from the vegetables I had picked myself The sea was a vid crystal-clear blue Once my family was amazed to see thousands even tens of thousands of sea urchins covering the rocky outcrops stretching right up to the shoreline Autumn is a vibrant display of gold with golden leaves remaining on the trees for nearly a month without falling creating an incredibly poetic scene Winter brings snow perfect for skiing and ice skating Spring bursts into bloom with peach blossoms and a profusion of flowers The carpet with its park-like expanse is woven from millions of tiny delicate flowers No matter where you live you'll likely find a park or green space nearby where children can play Every day my spouse and I support each other to care for our children while also excelling in our work My husband is a warm loving family man who always cares for and supports me and treats our children with kindness and thoughtfulness To foster a warm family atmosphere we all go shopping and cook meals ourselves rarely ever eating out at restaurants In Paris there are many Asian supermarkets and Vietnamese markets so I can cook various Vietnamese dishes for my husband and children such as pho bun spring rolls steamed rice rolls and more Evenings are for relaxation and spending quality time with family reading together or playing chess Although it's challenging when my young children are sick overall our small family's life is simple and happy My house is close to the kindergarten and elementary school making it very convenient to drop off and pick up my child Public transportation in Paris is highly developed I commute to work using the metro When the train isn't crowded I can sit in one place and read until we reach the forest Most of my students are French with exchange students from other countries as well They're eighteen tall and lanky sometimes even looking more mature than I do In France specifically and the West in general young people become independent at an early age They want to decide their own lives and are influenced by many modern ideas and behaviors From a young age my dream was to become a teacher just like my mother and grandfather In both Eastern and Western traditional cultures a teacher is one who imparts wisdom and passes on knowledge That means not only conveying knowledge and skills but also teaching principles ethics and moral values In my situation as a foreigner in France my children are already grown up Achieving that is far from easy and requires immense determination and effort To ensure students absorb the material most effectively I typically spend considerable time thoroughly preparing each lecture Based on students' proficiency use simple and clear language illustrated with real-life examples images videos and more In my teaching I don't just lecture—I engage with the students extensively The children often appear cheerful and enthusiastic when their teacher pays attention to them and asks questions related to their own experiences expressed their opinions and insights Last semester I taught a course on economic policy I have many opportunities to discuss international current events with the students Some students show a special passion and develop a sense of responsibility toward their nation striving to make their country strong and great once again Sometimes I also face challenges with my attitude For example some students display disrespectful and uncooperative behavior In such situations the school allows teachers to reprimand or expel the student from the classroom Therefore I believe punishment only suppresses outward behavior not the heart of a person As a practitioner of Falun Dafa cultivating truthfulness kindness and forbearance I constantly remind myself to hold onto a sincere heart full of love Respect you trust in your inherent goodness I find that even when occasionally shaken by modern society but that innate goodness will emerge once more when awakened by sincere and patient presence Therefore in expressions of rudeness e challenging situations they present I always remind myself to let go of negative emotions and selfishness Truly thinking about the children As they gradually sensed my genuine goodwill and heartfelt affection Many children have become more open-hearted laugh more often and grown gentler and more obedient Nowadays many young people enjoy embracing a life of freedom I don't want to get married nor do I want to endure the hardships of giving birth and raising children The first time they met me students would always assume from my appearance that I was unmarried In France and perhaps in many other places women often prefer not to mention their age or life circumstances favoring instead how others perceive them as still young However I think if I don't say anything the kids will mistakenly believe I only care about my career If you continue living this way—unmarried childless —I don't think there's anything good for you at all When they found out I was so much older than them and already had two children they were all surprised Many of them changed how they addressed me from Miss to Madam I also help them feel the love within families the value of family and traditional family values rough a few small stories about our family Thus each lesson passed alongside lessons in economics Little by little I became immersed in traditional cultural values so the children can see that even in the field of economics complex issues like laziness fraud and corruption exist Crimes and other issues will likewise be resolved and society will become far more prosperous as human morality rises once again To achieve such a state one must rely on education and personal self-cultivation I myself strive to set an example through my own actions I dress simply and neatly with my hair neatly tied back always arriving early to prepare When class time comes I open the door and greet the students with a smile I still stay at the teacher's desk during class as the students sometimes need help At the end of class I stayed behind last to organize and tidy up the equipment If any student asked for help with their work I was always happy to assist Day by day I could see the changes and progress in them By the final class the entire group had become incredibly cheerful and close to me As were about to part some students stayed behind to thank me She kept saying she hoped to study with me again someday That final class was especially memorable After reviewing the entire curriculum with a little time remaining I asked permission to interview the students with four questions 1 What makes a good teacher 2 What makes a good student 3 Record an experience about the kindness of a man who opened a school 4 So what does kindness mean to you I want to make a video supporting the international contest The genuine kindness of Kanjin World and the spreading of goodness's beauty The children happily agreed and responded in their native language French English German Portuguese Spanish Chinese Japanese Russian Arabic and so on I interviewed students from two classes and several school administrators totaling individuals who speak 14 different languages After using a speech recognition tool to translate your responses I was truly surprised and deeply moved The students highly appreciate the teacher's clear easy-to-understand explanations patience calm demeanor and cheerful attitude when entering the classroom Many also believe that good teachers and good students are those who respect others care deeply for them and are attentive to helping them This reminds me of three words: mutual respect mutual care and mutual support my master once taught about human relationships in traditional society Someone even said a good person is one who thinks of others Put yourself in others' shoes What you do not wish for yourself do not impose on others Is this not precisely the teaching of Confucius How can one return to the noble traditional path when the very foundations of morality are eroding Today's young people however are able to speak out Such kind beautiful traditional words Truly something to be celebrated I still remember when my son upon learning I was a teacher innocently asked Mom every time you come to class you always say "Hello everyone " don't you I laughed and replied No because your mother's students aren't children They're grown-ups even older than your mother herself Now I reflect and realize that as a teacher even though my age isn't enough to regard my students as my own childre But truly I needed the boundless heart of a mother Added to that was the innocence and reverence of a teacher Only then could I fulfill my dream of becoming a missionary and taking on discipleship elping them become upright virtuous individuals with both virtue and talent Whenever I face difficulties or challenges in my work I find myself recalling those early days My master taught the public the Fa of Falun Dafa in the 1990s in a complex society such as China Facing thousands of students with diverse emotions and mindsets the master always maintains a compassionate and upright heart He always bears a deep sense of responsibility toward society and his students which has led millions of people to sincerely cultivate their minds and turn toward goodness bring countless blessings to families and society Unfortunately it is only due to opposition toward the widespread popularity of Falun Dafa but the Beijing authorities launched a brutal campaign against the source of this European Buddhist meditation practice It has not ceased since 1999 But our elders often say Sow wind reap storm act with kindness meet with good fortune As a result an increasing number of people around the world are becoming aware of the goodness of Falun Dafa and condemning the persecution The European Parliament adopted an emergency resolution in 2024 condemning the persecution of Falun Gong Demand that the Chinese authorities immediately release all Falun Gong practitioners currently detained arbitrarily In 2025 the U S House of Representatives also unanimously passed the law to protect Falun Gong As a teacher I strive to follow my role model constantly improving myself walking in humility kindness and patience Even though there were still many shortcomings I gradually began to sense the power of goodness During the final class the student from Russia said tha I am a very kind teacher and I am deeply cherished by my students When the first semester ended some students wrote me thank-you letters For the wonderful lessons and the lasting benefits When I saw them again at the start of semester two they were joyful and happy They wished me a joyful new year and asked if my Christmas holiday was pleasant This is truly the most wonderful gift for a teacher In the country of France where I live there are also many teachers who practice Falun Dafa One elementary school teacher even told the children a story The legend of the Lotus tracing the lotus's journey from the murky depths rising steadily toward the pure surface of the sacred lake Like the three treasures—body mind and spirit—cultivated with sincerity virtue and patience A middle school teacher guides the students in practicing gentle qigong exercises mprove health and balance emotions The Paris City Hall has previously invited practitioners of Falun Dafa to introduce the practice to the city's residents at an event guiding people toward a better life Drawing from my own experiences I truly want to tell everyone tha Falun Dafa is a supreme and virtuous teaching of Buddhism guided by the principles of truth kindness and tolerance in the cultivation of one's character Help each of us become kinder and happier May everyone be able to walk the path of
