Is it just about the goals you score or the treasures you lift? You face a change and humble enough to know that you're worth it to us. Release is the way you carry yourself. You make possible for the little kids watching you in the stands. It takes a heart. It takes a gut. It takes personality. It's a celebration. You show the young people. Fierce and arrogant. All at the same time. Fierce as you get less. Not just for. Just for the records. You change them. She has taken us to a whole new level. Our hearts are U.S.L.C. She is a world cup champion. An Olympic gold medalist. She has won every major honor this sport can offer. And tonight, we honor her. Making her way to the third team. Alex. Morgan. It's been so fun. It is busy. What a time. It's just her turn to be retired. But everything she's done to change the game forever. I have the privilege of seeing Mary Ramsey's wall up close. From the very beginning. Starting in her second year. By finding people's heads. Way back. In 2007. Then when I retired. To just listen to myself. In the year right after our championship won. Back then. So seamlessly. From then on, I would maybe imagine what had happened. Alex was with all of us. She was a true mentor to the team. That's the kind of Mary she is. Someone who makes everyone around her feel better. You vote for your people, Mary. You never settle for the worst. And you let them take your time and time again. You are more than simply Mary Ramsey to me. Fans should watch our journeys. Because you make it look like others. You draw people in. Make them listen when you speak. And always put your words into action. And I'm happy to be with Congress. And thank you to Mary Ramsey. And the community that helped them. But doing it the other way. She always understood the game. Was what we did. But it never defined who we are. She's a leader. An activist. A businesswoman. A Zambiela. She's used her voice. And through her voice. Consistent and loyal. And now. As she turns into a pig in this town. She's a beautiful pig, baby. She's creating a new world for her kids to grow up in. One by one the trees get big. And change those trees. And when they're older. They'll look back at her. And everything mom did. So tonight. We celebrate the goals. The victories. And the history. But we also celebrate her teaching me. The leader. The mom. And a friend. This incredible milestone. Is changing it forever.
