Hey y'all, this is Troy Black. So I've got a word from the Lord to share with you about Nicki Minaj,
and I don't know a lot about her personally, but I heard this while I was just spending time with
the Lord in prayer and worship, and I want to submit this to you. So I submit prophecy
on this channel and words of knowledge to be tested, and I try to do that under the guidelines
of 1 Corinthians 14 and 1 Thessalonians 5, so I encourage you to do that. We also have an
archive on my website, TroyBlackVideos.com, where you can see the results of many of these words of
knowledge that I've shared and what happened after the fact. I want to quickly say that some
people have been getting messages that were supposedly from me saying, hey, contact me on
WhatsApp, and I just want to state that I don't have a WhatsApp account. I'm never going to contact
you asking for money on WhatsApp or some third-party app like that, so please do not respond
to those messages, and I encourage you to flag them if you can tell that it's from a fake account.
And I would also say if you follow any ministries online and you start getting messages
from a WhatsApp account that says it's from that ministry, be very, very, very careful about that
because it's probably a scammer and it's probably fake, right? It's probably a fake account.
So if you're looking or if the Lord ever leads you to support these videos financially,
all of that information, all those links are found officially on TroyBlackVideos.com,
and if you're not getting the link there, it could be a scammer account.
So the Lord spoke this to me, and this is a word of encouragement. He talked to me earlier today
about the false narrative. He said it's the lens through which many of my people are viewing the
word. And I got this picture of somebody who's trying to read the Bible but is frustrated and
not understanding why it feels like a heavy weight or burden on their shoulders, and they're trying
to get encouragement and trying to get strength for their day or their week or their year, and it
just feels like they're pushing up against a brick wall. And the Lord is showing me that the word is
meant to be a life. Jesus said, man does not live on bread alone, but every word that comes out of
the mouth of God. So it's meant to be a source of life to us where we feel rejuvenated, right?
We feel built up and encouraged. And the Holy Spirit absolutely has that for us in the word,
but it all depends on whether it's a weight or a life preserver, depends upon the lens
through which we're reading it. So I want to address that today, and I've got an encouraging
message for you from the word and from the Holy Spirit. But I do want to share this
word about Nicki Minaj first. This is something I heard on February 5th. This is not a personal
judgment against her. I don't know where her heart is personally. I don't want to try to make that
judgment call. The word says people look at the outside, but God looks at the heart.
This is what I heard while I was worshiping. I was actually singing that song, Coming Back to
the Heart of Worship, and just spending time with the Lord. And the Holy Spirit began to speak to
me. So I'm submitting this as a prophetic word. Why would God share this? Potentially, maybe it
could get in front of Nicki Minaj herself. Maybe the Lord could speak to her through it. I don't
know if that's going to happen or not. That would be cool if it did. But really, I think it's so that
we as believers know how to pray for people like her, but also so that we know how to process the
things that she does and says through the lens that the Holy Spirit wants us to process that
through. So I would submit this in that context. But this is what I heard. I may not make everybody
happy. That's okay. It's okay if you disagree with me on this. That's fine. I'm just submitting
what I heard. You pray about it. Take it to the Lord in prayer. Test it. I heard the Lord say,
Nicki Minaj. And then I heard, she is returning to her ancient roots, her childhood dreams. And
he asked a question, yet for my sake alone, is she doing it? And then I heard, I'm looking at a
person's heart, the inside. What is happening on the inside? Then I heard, pray for her to fully
surrender to the King, King Jesus. Then I heard this, she's still playing a game or two with my
kingdom. And the Lord asked me to share the gospel. So I'm going to go ahead and do that. And then
after that, I got several words of knowledge that have to do with things that are coming
that specifically relate to Nicki Minaj and her life. So I'm going to go ahead and share those.
Some of them seem a little strange, not very clear, but others of them seem a little bit more
clear. But this is for anybody that's watching who you either call yourself a Christian, maybe
you don't, but you're interested in God. But you know in your heart, deep down, that you don't have
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If that's you, the Father has a message for you today.
And it's simply that He loves you, despite where you are, despite everything you've ever done.
And even despite the things that have happened to you, those things, that was not God's love.
That was not God's plan for you, the evil that's happened to you. That was man, that was humankind
and the fall of man taking place. But God has a greater plan for your life. And He desires so much
more for you than where you currently are. And He wants to show you that plan. And the way He does
that when we walk with Him in fellowship is, number one, He shows us His heart and His character
and His plan for humanity in the Word of God in the Bible. But number two, the Word says the Holy
Spirit comes in and begins to speak to us if we know Jesus, if we believed in Him. So God wants to
have a personal relationship with you where you're never alone again. Every single day is you and God
walking together, and He is leading you, and He's directing you, and He's able to correct you if
necessary, but He's also able to change your heart, and He's able to to show you all of the
things. You know, the Word says God has great and precious promises, marvelous promises for us,
magnificent promises, and God is the one that wants to reveal those to you at the right time
and in the right way. But that happens through waiting with Him, that happens through walking
with Him. You know, the Word describes His voice as a still small voice. God, the Bible says the
Holy Spirit actually comes to live inside of those who have believed in Jesus, and it's literally
our spirit connecting with His. It's like the idea of being so close to somebody, you know what
they're thinking, right? God is able to do that with those who know Him and who have believed in
Him, because what Jesus did was He came to the earth while we were all trapped in sin, we're all
stuck as sinners. You know, even if we're going to church, we know what we're doing behind
the scenes when the doors are shut, right? None of us have lived this life perfectly, but even in our
state of sin, Jesus came to the earth as the Son of God and as man, and He lived a perfect life. He
never told one lie, He never did one thing wrong, and then they took Him and they tortured Him, and
they crucified Him, and they killed Him, and they hung Him on a cross, and that didn't have to happen.
He could have stopped it at any moment. He had the power to, but He chose not to because He loves us,
because He loves you, He loves me, and He doesn't want us to stay in darkness and sin.
He doesn't want us to be separated from God, but He came to redeem us and to set us free from that,
and so Jesus died, and then thankfully, He rose again on the third day, and the Word says now,
for those who believe in Him, we've been hidden with Christ, we've died with Him,
and we're resurrected with Him as well, and so that is the intimacy, that's that close relationship
where what I want has to die, right? I buried it with Christ, and now whatever He wants,
when I'm resurrected with Him, spiritually speaking, whatever He wants, that's what I'm
living for now. The Word says, it's no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me, and so
have you ever seen somebody that you could tell they weren't living for themselves anymore,
but they were living for somebody else, and their main goal was to make this person
happier, to protect this person? Have you ever seen somebody lay their life down for somebody
else? See, that's what Jesus did for us, and what He wants for us now is for us to know Him
so personally, that we are willing to do that for Him, too, that we say, Lord, every day,
today, I just want to walk with You, no matter what. I just want Your will to be done. That's
what Jesus prayed in the garden, Father, not my will, but Yours. That's God's desire for us,
that our hearts would change, and we would know Him. Listen, my friend, when you know how much
the Father loves you, and when you're receiving that love through the presence of the Holy Spirit
and through the Word, you don't want to hurt His heart anymore. You don't want to
do anything that's outside of His will. All you want is Him, and that's what God has for us,
and if you don't have that today, I want you to pray with me. If you need to pray this again,
if you've been walking away from the Lord, or you've felt far from the Lord, that's fine,
but this is mainly for those who you know it's been a game up to this point, and you need a
real relationship with Jesus Christ. My friend, that happens through the filling of the Holy
Spirit. God is going to fill you right now with His presence, with His voice, and His power.
He's going to begin to speak to you through the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit inside of
you, and He's going to show you what's to come. That's what Jesus said in the Word, that the
Spirit would show us the things to come. He revealed to us what's to come. It says He would
also teach us all things, so God's going to start actually teaching you what He desires. He's going
to start to show you His will. He's going to start to show you the difference between right and wrong
in ways that you've never seen before, but it's all connected to the Word, and so I want you to
pray with me right now, but this is the moment where we come before the Lord, and we say,
Lord, I'm a sinner, and I'm choosing to repent. I'm choosing to turn away from sin. I don't want
to live that way anymore. I'm believing that Your plan for me is better, and I'm believing that You
can change me. See, without His help, we can't change, but when God steps into the picture and
His love floods our hearts, we can't help but change, and God wants to do that for you right
now if you're willing to accept it. Just say yes to Him. Say yes to Jesus. Say yes to the love of
the Father. He wants to fill you with His love. He wants to fill you with the Holy Spirit, and He
wants to change you forever. I want you to pray with me right now. I want you to say, Jesus,
thank You for saving me. Thank You that You died on a cross, and when You died, You took the
punishment for my sins upon Your own body. Thank You that You rose again on the third day so that
I might have life. I want you to say, Father, forgive me for my sins. Forgive me for everything
I've done against You and against Your Word. I ask that You change me. I want you to say,
Father, fill me with the Holy Spirit right now. Make me new. I don't want to be the same person
anymore. I want to walk with You now. I want to be more like Jesus every day, but I need Your help.
I want you to put your full faith right now. Do it any way that you want to say it. Just tell
the Lord that you're putting your full trust and your full faith in Jesus' sacrifice, that because
He died for you, now you get to be seen as righteous in God's eyes. You get to be seen
as clean in God's eyes. And I just sense the Holy Spirit doing that for people right now,
just a cleansing flow of the Holy Spirit where He's coming in. He's even changing the way you
see yourself in your heart. You once saw yourself as guilty and ashamed, and I just hear the Holy
Spirit saying, that's not you anymore. I don't see you that way, so you need to change the way
you even view yourself now based on my Word. That's what I hear the Lord saying. His grace
is so good and is so available. And the love of the Father, He's just waiting to pour His love
out into your heart right now and every single day. Father, I just ask that You would bring a
great revelation of Your love to every person's heart that's listening in Jesus' name. Fill every
person that's desiring it with Your Holy Spirit, with Your presence, with Your power, with a
passion to know You, to walk with You. But help us, Lord, not to rely on our own strength,
or our own determination, but instead to rely on Your grace to look to Jesus. Thank You, Jesus,
for dying for us. Thank You, Father, that You loved us with such a great love. You never gave
up on us. You kept pursuing us. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for moving in power in the lives of all
of those listening, mine included, in Jesus' name. So when you begin to spend time with the Lord
every day, He's going to speak to you. He's going to lead you. You can meet with Him every day.
There's no separation between you and God now if you've believed in Jesus. And the Word says,
Jesus said, my sheep hear my voice. So you can expect it. I want you to begin to expect that.
Say, no, I am a friend of God because of what Jesus did. I expect to hear from Him. I expect
to be led by Him. See, a lot of times we don't even look for Him or we don't stop and listen
because we're not expecting to hear from Him. We're not believing what the Word actually says.
It says, you're a chosen people, a royal priesthood. It says, you've been called a child
of God. That's who you are. God wants to help His children. He wants to speak to His children.
This is what I heard next about Nicki Minaj. And these are more words of knowledge, not so
much prophecy, but there's a little bit of prophecy mixed in. But I saw an image of an album with the
number 12 on it, like album number 12. And I'm not sure if, I know, I think she's released like maybe
five or so albums officially. I know she's had lots of singles and stuff. And this was from like
five minutes of research on Wikipedia because I don't really know a lot about her. So I'm
not sure if this is her 12th album or something like that, or if it's an album or a song that
has to do with the number 12, could have something to do with the number 12. But anyways, not exactly
sure. But I did hear this. I heard a smash hit straight to the top. It's going to take some time
before we get there still. And then I heard a full stop for a short season or two. And I will say
this, from the research I've seen, obviously she's close to the top right now,
and she's been at the top and has lots of smash hits. So I think the Lord's giving some
context to some things here around the same time as these things are going to happen.
But I heard a full stop for a short season or two. She will return, and someone will say, by the grace
of God, she is where she is. And I got this slight impression that some of this may be a while,
like a few years down the road. But then I heard this, it's still just an act to an extent. And he
said, pray for a full conversion to take place. And then I heard this later. He said, she's coming
home soon. And this did not sound like a spiritual thing, you know, like a spiritual coming home,
that kind of thing. But instead, it sounded more like something that's going to come out
in the news. And this is going to be a decision she makes, maybe like a quote-unquote midlife
crisis type of event, something like that. But I heard she's coming home soon, where she used to
be and belong, going back where she started to make things right again. This is going to come
out in the news. That's what I heard. So I don't know if that's a return to, who knows? You know,
I could just venture guesses at this point. I haven't heard anything else about it. But if I
had to guess, you know, I don't know, it could be like a move, like a physical move to a location,
could be like returning to an old record label or something. I have no idea, you know, but that
would be something like that. So that's what I heard. I'm not sure exactly all that that pertains
to. We'll have to wait and see. I'm not sure what the number 12 has to do with it. I have to wait
and see how that plays in. But we do follow up on these words of knowledge on my website,
TroyBlackVideos.com. So if you ever want to look, check and see, you can actually go search there
and see if we followed up on a specific word or not. But this is what I heard the Lord say
today. And this is a word of encouragement for believers. He said, and this is specifically for
those who read the word and you feel like it's not helping, right? You feel like it's a weight,
or you're even like ashamed when you read the word, or you're afraid, right? And you feel like
it's like, I'm trying, but failing, you know, failing to read and failing to get what I need
out of it because there's that weight there. This is what I heard the Lord say. He said,
the false narrative, it's the lens through which many of my people are viewing the word.
And he said, when you change that, everything begins to build you up in faith and strengthen
you for what I have for you to do. So the Lord saying, if we just change the lens through which
we're looking at the word, suddenly everything we read is going to start to build us up in faith
and strengthen us for the purpose that God's created us to fulfill. So what is the lens
change that needs to happen? Well, this is what the Lord said. He said, Romans chapter two and
three. So I want to walk through some scripture here, and I believe that this is going to be
helpful for some people today. So this is Romans 2.13. It says, for it is not the hearers of the
law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. So here's one
of the verses that reveals the lens through which we look at the scripture. When you read this,
you say, okay, I've got to do everything right in order to be just before God. And the more
extreme view of this would be, I've actually, because when you read the word law in the New
Testament and it's capitalized, specifically in the NASB and versions like that, but when you read
the word law and it's capitalized like that, we're actually referring to the law of Moses under the
old covenant. And so, and I'll just, I'm going to just bridge that gap for those that don't know,
but the New Testament says we're no longer under the law of Moses, specifically speaking of the
law of Moses, but instead it says now we're under the law of Christ. Other places it's translated
the law of God or the law of liberty. It's a very different way of looking at it. It's two
different lenses. Am I under the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or the tree of life?
Am I under the old covenant or the new? The word also says the covenant, the ministry,
it calls the old covenant the ministry of death versus the ministry of the spirit.
So it's two different lenses. One is going to, the letter of the law is going to kill you,
the spirit's going to give you life, right? So it's two different ways to look at it. So when
we look at this verse, we have to look at the context of what Paul is actually saying. He's
saying, yes, for it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the
law who will be justified. But he's talking in the context of those who were actually under the law.
So in this whole passage here, he's showing the distinction between the Jews and the Gentiles,
saying the Jewish nation, they were under the law of Moses. The Gentiles didn't have that law,
but he's actually making the point through all of it, neither one, neither group pleased God
through their own ability. That's what he's actually saying here. And so Romans 2.17,
if you come down to 2.17, you see this here. Here's an example of that. But if you call yourself a Jew
and rely upon the law and boast in God. So now he's calling the Jews out specifically. He speaks
to the Gentiles and he speaks to the Jews. If you call yourself a Jew and rely upon the law. So he's
saying, hey, these were the Jewish people under the law, right? But he's actually building up to
something greater. And you've got to read the whole book of Romans to understand what he's
saying. You can't just take one verse out of context. So let's look at verse 16. What does
he say here? On the day when according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind
through Christ Jesus. What is he saying? He's actually telling us there's going to be a judgment
day coming, but on that judgment day, what you've done, what you haven't done is not going to be
judged based on the law of Moses. What's it going to be judged based on? It's going to be judged
through Christ Jesus. God will judge, not just see, and he's also making the distinction between
what's happening on the outside versus what's happening on the inside. The Pharisees were
following the law of Moses perfectly on the outside, but Jesus called them whitewashed tombs.
He said, you look perfect on the outside, but on the inside, you're full of dead man's bones.
So they're going to expect to be judged by the law when they stand before Christ one day
in eternity, the Pharisees and the leaders of that time, but God's not going to judge
them based on that. He's going to say, what did you do with my son? What did you do with Jesus?
They're going to say, well, we rejected him, right? And that's the question we have to answer
today, is do I really think that I'm pleasing God through my efforts and through the keeping of a
list of rules, or have I become pleasing to God because of what Jesus did for me? What am I putting
my trust in, right? And let's drill down a little deeper here. Let's go to verse 25. It says,
for indeed circumcision, well, what is circumcision? Circumcision was a command that God
gave to Abraham, right? And it was actually within the law of Moses, and it became the symbol
of a people who were following God and obeying God. It was the symbol that we have the word of
God, we have the law, we are God's people, right? And so Paul refers to circumcision over and over
and over in the New Testament as this symbol, right? But look what he says here, for indeed
circumcision is a value if you practice the law. So now, who did he say was under the law? Well,
he said the Jewish people, right? So now he's referring to them again, and he's saying, if you
actually kept the law that you were under as a Jew, he's saying, then that circumcision that you
held so high as a symbol that you were serving God, that would be valuable to you, right?
But watch, but if you are a violator of the law, your circumcision has turned into uncircumcision.
So he's saying this symbol, it's worthless. Why? If you didn't keep the law, right? Well,
which of the Jewish people always kept the law? Nobody except for Jesus. He's the only one that
ever came and did it perfectly. Everybody violated the law. So everybody fell short.
He's trying to build this argument of reminding us of the depth and the depravity of our sin
and our separation from God and how far he had to come to get us. That's what he's doing here.
Look at verse 28. And so the lens has to change. If we look at this as,
oh man, well, if I violate the law of God today, then God's looking at my heart as being
uncircumcised. God's angry at me, right? And it's like, does God want us to obey him? Absolutely.
But how does he see us? What lens is he looking at us through? He's looking at us through the
lens of grace now because of what Jesus did. Look, and we've got to learn to see ourselves
through that same lens. And now I'm not talking about human grace. Paul distinguishes the difference
in a few minutes. We're going to see that. He says, for he is not a Jew who was one outwardly.
So now he's breaking down the boast. They're like, well, we're God's people, right? It was a boast.
And he's actually speaking to all people and saying, anybody who thinks they're pleasing
God through their works, he's trying to break that boast. He's saying, you need to stop boasting too.
That's the point he's making. He's not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which
is outward in the flesh. He's saying it's not an outward thing, but he is a Jew who is one inwardly
and circumcision is of the heart. Watch this, by the spirit, not by the letter. He's saying,
it's not a list of rules, but you've been marked as a people of God because the Holy Spirit lives
inside of you. That's what he's talking about. He says, and his praise is not from people saying,
you're not doing things to please people. It's not always going to make sense to those around you,
but you're living. It says, but from God, it means God's the one who says, good job,
good job. You did what I asked you to do. No, they weren't happy about it. And that's fine.
The Pharisees and religious leaders were not happy about what Jesus was doing. He was being
perfectly obedient to the father and the spirit of God was working through him constantly.
Let's go to the next chapter. Look at Romans chapter three. It's Romans chapter three,
verse eight. But yeah, he does talk about the advantage that the Jewish person had. He does
talk about that. So Paul does go into that and dive into that and we don't have time for that.
It's a different video, but I did get into that recently, but it says in verse eight,
and why not say, just as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say,
let's do evil that good may come of it. Their condemnation is deserved.
Okay. So what is he saying now? So what Paul is doing is he's destroying the argument that
some people have when they look at the grace messages and they say, well, that's just hyper
grace. This is what Paul's destroying right now. He's saying, no, this is not hyper grace. That's
what he's saying. He's saying, but some people are slandering us and saying that it is because
they don't want to accept the grace because they think that they're able to do it without God's
They think that they somehow have met him halfway. Even if it's just 5%, they think that they've done
enough to be able to boast in what they're doing and to judge those who are fully putting themselves
under the grace of God. That's what he's saying. He says, just as we are slanderously reported
as some claim that we say, he's saying, but that's not what we're teaching. He's saying,
we're not teaching people to disobey God. We're teaching people that they're no longer under the
law of Moses because that's what the scripture says. And that's what the Holy Spirit has said
and revealed to the apostles and the prophets in the New Testament. But he's saying, but we are not
teaching people to disobey God or to go sin because the Holy Spirit's never going to lead you into
something that's sinful, never going to tell you or justify sin in your life. He's going to instead
call it out of it, out of it. He's going to call you up out of it and call you to a higher standard.
And he's going to empower you to actually live in a way that's righteous and pleasing in God's eyes
because you couldn't do it without him. But when he comes in, he changes you and he changes your
heart and he changes your desires. And how does he do that? It's based on his grace, Titus chapter
two, the grace of God instructs us to deny ungodliness and live in a way that's pleasing
to the Lord. It says their condemnation is deserved. Who's he talking about here? He's
talking about those who say, let's do evil that good may come of it. He's saying the ones that say,
well, let's send more so that grace may abound. He's saying, no, they don't understand grace.
That's how he's able to say their condemnation is deserved. He's saying those people who, you know,
a lot of times fall into the progressive Christian camp today, unfortunately, he's saying
they are not even saved because they don't understand grace. He literally said their
condemnation is deserved. If somebody says, God doesn't care about sending any more. I can send
as much as I want because of what Jesus did. They've not truly accepted what Jesus has done.
They don't get it. And because they don't get it, their heart hasn't changed. Because when we
understand his grace and we see what he's done for us, even when we did not deserve it at
all, and we see the depth and depravity of our sin and in the height and the width of his love
and how great his love was for us. And he demonstrated that to us as he was tortured
and died on a cross. When we see that, we don't ever want to hurt him again. We don't want to
ever do, sin is anything that's apart from God. We don't ever want to do anything apart from him
again. We just want to please him. We just want to be with him, you know, and it melts our heart.
And that's what the true grace of God does. We say, Lord, I'm done trying to figure this out
on my own. I need you. And we become like somebody that is naturally going to be walking in the ways
that are pleasing to God. And we have help to do that. And that's the Holy Spirit's job.
That's the Holy Spirit's job. So Paul is not saying, and the grace of God does not say that
we'll do whatever you want. Here's the difference. This is the distinction. Paul talks a lot about
the flesh versus the spirit. No, grace doesn't allow us to do anything our flesh wants, but we're
not living for the flesh anymore. But it does allow us to walk in liberty. And we naturally
start doing the things that we want to do. Why is that? Because we start wanting more and more
the things of the spirit and the things that God wants. Our wants and our will starts aligning
with his. Not perfectly. None of us have perfectly arrived like, oh, I always think like God all the
time. No, no, right? The word says, if somebody says there's no sin in them, they're a liar, right?
We all make mistakes, right? And there are days where, you know, the flesh and the spirit, and I'm
like, man, I feel like the flesh is winning today, right? But thank God for repentance. And thank God
that his grace is still sufficient for today. And that the Holy Spirit is still here to help change
me. And maybe I didn't get it right this time. But by God's grace and with his help, I'm going to get
it right next time. Why? Because God's a good God and he's the God of second chances. And he's never
going to give up on me. And even when I'm faithless, the word says he's faithful. This is good news
today. This is the good news lens that we're meant to look at the scripture through.
So this is why we're able to even go through the Old Testament and the law of Moses and glean the
truth of God's word from that. Even though I'm not technically under the law, everything that's
written there was written for my benefit, right? And even through the law of Moses, I'm learning
what God's character is like, what his nature is like, the things he likes, the things he dislikes,
what he expects. I'm learning the difference between right and wrong in a lot of cases.
Now, some of it, the Holy Spirit is going to show me, is this a moral thing, right? The moral law
that never changes? Or was this a ceremonial thing that was meant for those people for a time?
You know, and he's going to help us, and biblical scholars help with that too, right? And actually
reading the commentaries and the interpretations of the word, you know, throughout church history.
But at the same time, the Holy Spirit also is the one that teaches us. He helps us to understand it.
And so I'm able to glean from all of it, and I'm able to glean what? I'm gleaning life. I'm getting
life from all of it instead of condemnation, instead of death, instead of shame. There's no
condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. So I'm able to look at it and go, look,
this is where I missed it. But guess what? That's just a greater revelation of Christ's love and
grace. And it's like, wow, I didn't even realize I was needing his grace to cover that too, but he
did. The word says that there was one sacrifice, but now there's no sacrifice needed. He covered
our sins once for all time. Look at verse 9. What then? Are we better than they? It's removing the
boast, right? Ephesians chapter 2. It's by grace through faith so that no man may boast. But look
at this. Not at all. We're not. We have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under
sin. So this is what I said earlier. Paul was building up to a point, talking about the law,
the Jews are under the law, the Gentiles were not. But some of them were walking pleasing to God,
but it's because their hearts had been changed, and they were walking in ways already that were
very similar to the things God put in the law. So he's making this case, but then he gets to
the main point, which is everybody's under sin, whether they were under the law or not. They've
missed it. That's the point he's trying to make. And this is why we needed Jesus to come. This is
why he came, because God did not want us to stay there. There's no righteous person, not even one,
verse 10 says. But let's look at verse 20, where this is so clarifying. Okay, so if we realize
we're under sin, now do we have to go back to the law and try and try and try harder? No, it says,
because by the works of the law, none of mankind will be justified in his sight. For through the
law comes knowledge of sin. So now he's saying, yes, the law is very helpful, because it showed
us the depth of our depravity and how much we needed a Savior, but it can't save us. It's not
until we come to the knowledge that only Jesus can save us, and we fully accept that, and we
throw ourselves at his mercy and his compassion, his grace, that we are able to look at the
scripture through the correct lenses and see, oh, I was never justifying myself through what I did.
It was never enough, but Jesus fulfilled the law on my behalf. And he came, and he grabbed me,
and he brought me all the way into the throne room. He brought me all the way up to the Father,
and he said, he's one of mine. Nobody can snatch him out of the Father's hand now.
That's what Jesus did for you. And the word talks about the blood of the Lamb being put onto the
seat in the throne room of God. It's always, always speaking life over you.
It's the reason our names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Look at verse 21. Here's
the good news right here. He says, he says, the law is never going to cut it. But look at this.
But now, he's all up to this point. He's been working up to this point. But now, apart from
the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the law and the
prophets. He's saying the law and the prophets, they were all leading up to this, right? But it
is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who, what? For all those who
believe. For everyone who puts their faith in Christ and what he did for us on the cross.
He's saying, you're righteous. That's what he's saying. What the law could not do, God did
by sending his son. He says, for there's no distinction for all of sin and fall short of
the glory of God being justified as a gift by his grace through the redemption, which is in Christ
Jesus, whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in his blood through faith. This was, this was
for God's glory. It was God's goodness. It was God's love that was being poured out.
It was God's faithfulness on display. And that's why Jesus said, you've got to be converted and
like a child to enter the kingdom of heaven. Listen, we've got, if we're going to be looking
at the scripture through the right lens, we're going to be gleaning life from it every day.
And it's going to be building us up. We've got to look at it through that same lens.
Oh yeah. I'm, I'm the, I'm just the kid that needed help. Like I was on the, I was not good
enough. I was not smart enough. I was not holy enough. I didn't have any of that. And God met me.
He came all the way. He met me right where I was and I'm always going to need that grace.
But I, but the good news is I always have it because his sacrifice was once for all time.
Galatians 5, 18 says, but if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law.
What does that mean? This is God's plan for you and I now is every day. The holy spirit wants to
lead us according to the law of God, according to what he wants, his will. So we're not under the
law. And that's a capital L again, the law of Moses. We're not under the law of Moses. No,
but we are under the law of God and we do stay accountable to him, to the holy spirit
as we walk with him. We say, Lord, is, is there anything in my life that needs to change?
And he gently and kindly reveals that to us because it says his loving kindness leads us
to repentance. And as he's doing that, he's pouring his love into our heart. He's saying,
he's saying, look at Jesus, look at the cross. Remember what I've done for you. Remember the
acceptance you have and yes, accept my help in this area. We're going to walk down a better path.
And why would we not at that point? Why would we not say yes? Why would we ever run away from
a God that's that good? It doesn't make any sense. It's his loving kindness. When we're experiencing
that, we say, okay, I'm going to repent. I'm going to turn away from that and I'm going to turn back
to you. But this is the good news today is that when we're looking at the scripture and the,
and the word of God through this lens, and even our own life through this lens,
it's a life giving experience. It's not by the letter, but it's by the spirit, which breeds,
which gives life. All right. That's all I got to share with you today. I hope this has been
encouraging. We'll have to wait and see what happens with some of those words of knowledge
that I got about Nicki Minaj and some of that. So I'll be following up on that at some point here,
probably within the next few years, because it seemed like that timeline was,
was going to apply to an extent. So that's it. I love y'all so much. And I'll, oh yeah,
real quick. You are going to get pushed into another live stream. I'm going to do,
I'm about to do on my other channel having to do with Iran and some of those updates there.
If you don't want to watch that, no worries. But that option is available
for those that do. I love y'all so much and I'll see you next time.
