Thank you for stopping by and watching my very first video! In this episode, I take the Triumph Speedmaster out for a quiet ride and explore the local Berkshire countryside. Triumph very kindly loaned me this motorcycle for the winter period so there will be plenty more videos to come! Stay tuned!
Good morning everybody and happy Christmas, Merry Christmas, whatever you
say. I've decided to go on a Christmas ride because I've never done it and I've ridden bikes for 6 years now so I thought I'd take some country lanes. It's a bit wet out, it's not too great as
you can see it's raining behind me but any excuse to take the Speedmaster out. I've only
been on it for, what, 10 minutes and I'm absolutely obsessed with it already. So I'm gonna take a
trip around some country lanes and let's see if we can have some fun.
Hey everybody, so I've just pulled up into Yattingdon which is a very picturesque village, it's so stunning. Apparently won awards for being a lovely village, as I'm sure you can see.
Looks very nice, especially with the Speedmaster parked there. So I'm gonna head home now. I actually got caught in torrential rain and a big flood and especially on a bike like that with the tyres that it's got on, probably not ideal.
So yeah, it's just been amazing riding around. It's actually got a little bit busier because the Royal Oak here does Christmas dinners so lots of people are just turning up and not having to cook which is probably quite nice.
So I'm gonna head home, have my Christmas dinner myself, hopefully go out on a ride again maybe later or tomorrow. But yeah, it's just been brilliant. It's just so nice to get out even if it is raining.
To be honest, like it just doesn't even bother me. Even if I did get soaked, like my jeans are absolutely filthy. I'll try and show you. I don't know if you can see that but they're absolutely covered.
So yeah, just gonna head home and time to get some Christmas dinner.
Good afternoon everybody. So I am in Henley-on-Thames today. I'm on the Speedmaster.
Lovely sunny day, making the most of the dry weather unlike yesterday which was not fun at all just because it was so wet basically and the bike got soaked.
And obviously a bike like that when you're really low to the floor, any puddles that you come across, you're just naturally gonna get soaked.
So back out today. I'm gonna still ride some country lanes but maybe a bit more into Oxfordshire this time.
I'm gonna ride to Molesford which is a lovely area, Pangbourne, back through Tylehurst and then I'll be home.
So yeah, first impressions of the bike. I'm absolutely loving it. It's just so comfortable to ride.
I love the handlebars as I keep saying but it's just it's such an old-school way of riding for me because I've never had a bike like that.
So it's an absolute pleasure to ride. I'll show you Henley-on-Thames and then I'm gonna ride through Bix, Molesford I'll end up in and sort of that way.
So it's Oxfordshire but yeah I'm gonna show you some riding footage now of Henley-on-Thames.
