Can a foreign expert successfully fish for a deep-sea giant using a squid weighing tens of kilograms?

This young man's fishing method is utterly
ridiculous—he grabbed a giant squid weighing over forty pounds and
threaded it directly onto the hook as bait
He promptly tossed it into the sea and the
massive squid slowly sank into the deep
ocean To keep the vessel stable heaved
two large stones into the water as anchors
Several minutes passed
the screen on the trolling lure displayed "known squid bite"
yet he felt no strong pull
After sensing something was wrong he quickly
hauled the squid up—sure enough as expected the creature had been violently torn apart on the
seafloor its head completely bitten off
Its tail was also severely damaged
The young man immediately realized the squid must have been too large
The big fish couldn't fit in his mouth Then he pulled out a ten-pound squid
Throw it back into the sea and try again—this squid is still lively Once submerged it keeps
darting deeper into the ocean which attracts
the attention of larger fish more effectively
The fishing rod suddenly jerked with
tremendous force as the line tightened
and a marlin burst out of the water
its temper as fierce as its speed
This marlin looks to weigh around sixty or seventy
catties with similar bite wounds on its body
indicating there's an even larger fish in the water
The young man immediately cuts off the fish's head
Tossed back into the water as bait the
fishing rod soon twitched again—upon closer
inspection another swordfish had taken the
hook though this one was significantly smaller
The young man effortlessly hooked the fish onto the boat
The fish appeared to weigh about 40 catties
Clearly it wasn't the giant monster fish he'd been searching for
Although today didn't bring
the result he'd hoped for
catching two swordfish was quite a pleasant surprise
