REVEALED My SECRET TAC 2025 Setup [125-YARD SH🎯T!]

Total Archery Challenge 2025, Texas.
I'm down here on Thursday setting the knock-on course.
Spoiler alert, target 12, 125 on knock squat.
You can move up if you don't have a pin.
However, this is a perfect place to have some free sailing
and I'm gonna use this as an opportunity
for this week's making the shot tip.
I wanna tell you before you come to an event,
know your maximum distance.
This one is actually pushing the limits of mine.
I have to use my second pin off my sight scale.
However, what I will tell you is I know
when my top pin gets to the end of that scale,
I am officially out of distance
and I know don't go further than that.
But a lot of people make this mistake at tack.
They don't know ahead of time what their maximum is.
Here's an easy way to do it.
A lot of you know how to do this.
Take your arrow, spin it around, put your rest up,
hold your arrow right where those knocking points would go,
set it down on your rest
and see if you've got that clearance.
And once you know like that's as far as I can do it,
get your mark now, make a scratch.
That's the end of the line.
Don't go further than that.
Make a red line.
Don't go further than that.
But that's an easy thing to do.
And also just another opportunity to tell you
why I make some slight adjustments to my tack setup.
Lots of people asking about my tack setup.
I brought all three of my bows.
If you're here in Texas, you can see the Grinch,
you can see Stormtrooper and you can see,
I don't know what the name,
we'll have to come up with the name of my new one,
but I'm down here shooting a little bit of all of them.
So I know my max distance and the one thing I've changed
between the turkey that I shot last week
and this is my fletching configuration.
I cut my wrap down.
I went to this PM 2.0, so I have a lower profile vein.
I'm not shooting the broadhead, only this field point.
So this is all I need.
And that lower vein has given me
about an extra five yards on my scale.
So I'm able to get more distance out of there.
So here we go.
First time sassing for 2025.
We've got a right to left wind down there.
Pay attention to the ribbon.
I'm going to give you that tip.
That ribbon's ripping like that.
You're going to want to hold on that right edge
and you're going to drift all the way over.
There's quite a breeze coming down this creek.
So I'm going to hold right edge, pull through.
Second pin, Dudley.
Oh, yeah.
I love that sound.
There's nothing better.
And that is right in the sass vitals.
What a way to start.
Technically, I'm a little above the 10,
but dang it, I was aiming for that hole.
I'll take it.
Everybody, I wish you the best
Total Archery Challenge season ever.
Make sure you pay attention to details.
Know your maximum.
Make sure you're not shooting your scope.
Make sure you know who's behind you
when you're pulling these arrows out.
Watch people's eyes.
And if you ever are hitting something,
that is questionable, make sure you check your arrow.
Safety first, then fun.
Or is it the other way around?
I don't know.
See you guys.
