So welcome to the Women's Parallel Giant Slalom. And this is going to be for everything right here. The gold, silver and bronze will be decided today. And today's number one qualifier is the Lydeska, reigning Olympic world champion. Can she do it again? On course. She just makes it look so easy, doesn't she? She's got the rhythm. Here we go to the bottom. Lydeska is going to cross first, your number one qualifier. Moving on to the quarterfinals. Esther Lydeska versus Sabine Peyer, Austria versus Czechia. Lydeska, not in the lead on this one, but Peyer is. Can Lydeska reel her back in? Wonderful run here, really starting to tighten up as we move towards the finish zone. Here we go. Is it Lydeska? Is it Peyer? And Peyer six, beating the back to back gold medalist. Unbelievable. The women's parallel giant slalom, the small final, Italy versus Italy. And we're racing here for the bronze medal and the women's parallel giant slalom. It's going to come down to the wire here between these two, right down to the finish. Who's going to snag the bronze medal? Here we go. The final stretch. Is it Dalmaso? Is it Cavante? Dalmaso wins the bronze medal for Italy. Now we go to the top. The battle for the gold. The women's parallel giant slalom, Susana Madurova, Sabine Peyer. On course. Here we go for the women's parallel giant slalom gold medal. Madurova slightly wide there. And it's all over for Peyer, perhaps. Blown heel edge there. Madurova does not seem to know. Absolute scenes here in the gold medal final. Madurova storming to the finish line. And Madurova becomes your gold medalist with Sabine Peyer the silver. Chills. Absolute chills. 22 years old. Olympic champion Susana Madurova. What a performance. What a day. What a smile.
