The stage of laying paving stones that is we have the entrance.
Area along the house paving stones are laid from the foundation.
Paving stones specifically this entire side is the front face and that's all.
First we dig out the topsoil according to the markings with a margin for everything.
This is removed and we get a result like this.
Well a whole working day has passed and we have approximately 25 to 26 square meters dug out all
this soil a pile of earth here which was already normal it was under grass and with grass all this
will be sorted later here the pipe we have for the storm drain is the highest point the slope
starts well lowering it too much is not an option because otherwise everything would be very low
there so we'll have to go around it here but in general there's nothing complicated about it the
main thing is the weather and the mood everything is dug out now i am going to lay the geotextile
we have here approximately 130 meters of geotextile 1 5 meters everything is fine i am laying it out
but it looks good doesn't it when we have all the paving stones here a lawn at level here
paving stones here white gravel i think it will be awesome we unrolled the 200 gsm geotextile
it's very dense perhaps even a cheaper option could be used here there's 150 gsm but the
difference in price was about 300 rubles per roll of 25 meters and that's fine here it's better to
sprinkle a little sand so that it doesn't blow away anywhere nothing flies away next time it'll
just dig the gravel in whole strips i probably want pour it in whole strips but rather in some
kind of strips and tamp it down so that we can place the curbs on them set them to level and
after that water them they will set and we can then calmly fill in the gravel inside i don't
know well i hope there's enough of everything i don't have much sand or gravel no more than three
here two to three cubic meters but five cubic meters in total this should all be used for
cement i think you'll order 19 bags i calculated it approximately with a small margin 19 bags of
50 kilograms so that we have enough to properly set the curbs with a normal cement base and
accordingly for the bedding layer under all this ill mix it by hand you'll get a neighbor with a
there because it's exhausting to mix so much manually with a mixer day two is easy we have
gravel laid a trench dug for the curb for the blind area because here there are also paving
stones gravel is laid all through geotextile definitely on the other side we have an
absolutely analogous situation so that we have it laid out like this here will be a veranda
so nothing will be laid there paving stones have arrived 41 square meters of paving stones
themselves and 76 linear meters of curbs the paving stones are of two sizes that is 130 and
300 width which 325 will be laid in this order it's red it will be laid in graphite color so
that it matches everything with the fence when it's dry it's this color when it's wet it's
darker but that's inevitable in principle any paving stones get darker and now finally finally
we can lay it but we still need to wait for the cement to arrive because i ordered cement today
with delivery for tomorrow the manager called me back and said yes everything is in stock
now ill clarify the delivery cost and time and call back three hours have passed and he's not
calling back and ill call back three hours have passed he's not calling back i feel like tomorrow
nothing will be brought to me now our task is to take the heights accordingly so that we set
up the curbs so that our path itself is at the same level as the blind area that is we just set
up the laser chute make marks with a marker so that the string can be pulled later precisely
along these you won't see anything of this anyway waited until it got dark and everything as much as
possible as precisely as possible nothing complicated it passed another working day and
i managed to do here you go part of the curbs is set up that is we have one side we take the heights
we mark them so that we have level with the blind area considering that pavers will be laid on the
blind area that is we have this curb this curb should be at the same level as the steps are
slightly higher so we have the blind area here the curb the pavers will fit here in here it will be
thought about how to set these heights but on this side it's the same with the steps it will
look like this simply the pavers are laid everything is laid here and that's it there's
a working day and we used three bags of cement for this that is three
bags of cement i mixed with sand one to three here we have here we have this half everything
is in place the main thing is that there is no rain today so that it doesn't wash away
everything i put it all on dry mix then with a hose with a sprinkler
i poured it all over so that it's soaked in slightly and then said nothing how it is i can
feel myself speaking slowly and stumbling because i am physically tired it's hard one curb weighs 40
kilograms so you have to not just bring it and put it but also move it put it tap it so that
everything is level day four if i am counting correctly that i am not
working consecutively so all the curbs for the path are set up the level is brought here here
in one curb is placed under the blind area the blind area is of course as simple as possible you
don't even need to measure anything here we just do it like this and set the offset by height i
marked it with a laser so that everything fits here in that's it then we'll add here i think
it will take about three hours to add this three hours yes and that's it in the rough
work everything for the pavers all the curbs are laid hooray hooray i am very happy about this
now all that's left is to set up the curbs for the septic tank i want to set them up as i said
earlier like this the curb it's level with this one so that the path will bend here everything
will be at the same level and here well have to remove a little sand soil and just add gravel
it will already be beautiful clean there will be no grass naturally through the geogrid we're
finalizing there's no more strength we can finish what i was talking about i set it up plus i also
set up a curb here so that we separate this lawn area further on i am saying that pavers will be
laid here and like this here you go but this is definitely not in this video i added a little
gravel that is we will have to spread this whole pile of gravel and after that rent a vibratory
plate vibrate it add sand vibrate it we're finalizing another plus i put a curb here as
well so that we have separate this lawn area further we have on the future is already here
i am saying that the paving stones are being laid right here and like this but this is definitely
not in this video i poured a little gravel so you need to we'll scatter all this pile of rubble and
after that already rent a vibratory plate to vibrate throw sand vibrate finalize the next one
the skirting on this side has been laid and on that side not entirely there wasn't enough time
and energy for the drainage everything is turning out very simple for us we spread the gravel level
it with a board according to the level with a slight slope thankfully the skirting already
has a slope and then we lay the paving stones we tap them down with a small hammer nothing
complicated just by eye without any level visually everything is visible this isn't tile like in a
toilet where a leveling system crosses everything else is mandatory here everything is much simpler
but it looks amazing now ill wash it well not wash it completely ill partially wash it and
pour water on it so that the gravel sets so slightly wet it so that the top layer soaks
in sets and forms a hard crust while the rest of the gravel will absorb moisture over time and
settle the thickness of the gravel layer turned out to be almost five centimeters it's time to
lay the steps this will probably be the most difficult part because there will be
a lot of cutting vertical paving stones and getting all of this right i measured yesterday
and experimented to find the best way you'll see the result here it's the same we fill and level
with a board so that we still have a little room to sink the paving stones by half a centimeter to a
centimeter so that the gravel compacts well so let's see what comes of it an intermediate stage
here i am placing the stones on their ends alternating them so that the pattern goes away
i have to grind down these little teeth on one edge with an angle grinder which create the
spacing a kind of stop so that the top layer lies flat here i might not film it anymore it's already
night i really wanted to finish all of this today i think it turned out quite well ill film it again
sanded it sanded it with gravel here with regular sand here with gravel the steps are step-on-step
to make them more compact i hope i don't spoil the color because it'll thoroughly brush everything
later blow it with compressed air and then water it so it sets and we can walk on it tomorrow
after compacting we add the first layer of sand i think well do this in two or three stages
compacting after each layer of sand we have very little sand left here maybe two cubic meters at
most according to calculations we need three and a half so well need to order sand i've already
ordered sand ordered a whole kamaz truckload of 10 cubic meters because the delivery costs 5,000
and 10 cubic meters of sand cost 5,000 well you should ntb stingy you should order a whole
kamaz truckload the difference is a couple of thousand rubles sand will always be used and
will come in handy because we still need to do the paving here the truck has arrived it's come
out onto the road a bit well first collect from here and from here of course well have sand left
here so i am done we have a distance of eight centimeters from the curved surface to the
compacted sand four centimeters is the paving stone itself and four centimeters is the gravel
i did it in three layers i added a layer compacted it watered it compacted it added another layer and
so on everything was leveled in total it took about five hours next i decided to the same
cobblestone and four cps were done in three layers so covered with a layer tamp watered tamped poured
a layer and so on outputting everything to everything about everything took about five
hours then i decided as soon as the vibratory plate is available add sand here level it out so
that it can be also done here so that geotextile can be laid here later and then gravel can be
added and it was more or less level the vibratory plate really makes a difference so that's about
it let's move on to the next stage laying the paving stones and to finish it off nicely let's
get all this done with a snap of the fingers hop hop hop hop there there everything is finally
laid i messed up a bit i filmed the vertical part for you but oh well now let's finalize what were
the budgets the budget came out to 115 000 rubles i also bought more paving stones per square meter
and cement in total it was 26 bags of cement 50 kilograms each so that's one three tons mixed
one to three for the mortar we had more than five tons of cement that's a lot i didn't expect that
much but overall the work took 11 days so this t-shaped path laying took two days 11 days of
work spread over two months so i started at the beginning of june and i will finish tomorrow
august 1st thank you for watching this video subscribe to my channel give it a thumbs up
good luck everyone
