I've created many homes but not for myself From my perspective as an architect And also a designer within the home as well as the homeowner When we created this we already had a daughter and a son So we know how we want to live as a family Hi I'm Dito I'm a lawyer And I'm Agatha Carolina I'm the co-founder of Pite Design Studio and also a residential architect This house is actually just like our dream home We' ve been planning to build it ever since we got married We've been married for nearly nine years This is our dream home From our journey we discovered that what we truly love is a home that exists beyond time And since she greatly admires vintage furniture and he loves classic cars so we think our style might be leaning more toward that era That's why when we decided to build this house I told him that in reality We should incorporate a mid-century style into this vibe The one who refused us in building this house was our daughter Since we used to live in an apartment building and he loved animals But when we lived in the apartment We can't have a path So he rejected our request to build this house just so he could get his own path That was the first thing that came to mind when building this house We love materials that have aged gracefully So you can see this house is growing with us This is the exterior the outside of the house You can see this is the garage And this is the entrance to the house This is the wooden deck that extends from the house These are all the bridges we use We use a color combination for the bridge And this is the departure bridge we use for air circulation and to achieve a more natural light And this is the entrance This is the semi-public area I mentioned earlier It's used for gas removal and we also utilize it for our work zone I'm a fan of Frank White Rice so I tried implementing the compression and removing it just like the last one here Its upper edge is higher so in any case it plays on the level of intimacy by manipulating the upper level In this way we aim to embody the philosophy of compression elimination This place is for connection So we can also open all the bridge doors and people can sit inside or outside on the deck It actually connects to the second floor through a large opening similar to the space above the bedroom and above the pantry It also features a floor an upper level and a cover Most of the admire Becoming a designer is our way of honoring them and learning from their work And I think If we value these iconic elements we can pass them on to future generations He has assembled this vinyl collection since middle school and this is the spot He absolutely loves being here playing music listening to vinyl and I really liked it I think what we wanted before when we lived in a building It's a connection with the universe where we can have a prison space nestled between our two buildings We simply want everything Looking inside the prison where we have a large tree right in the center It has a very beautiful prison area right in the middle of two buildings here So this is our house the main building and this is the house extension we use especially for events just to host an event dinner or simply use it for multiple purposes Our main house is located on the ground floor We always planned to live here until we grow old We installed a camouflage door Behind it we have the opportunity to experiment with the vertical terrain behind We placed a lot of vegetables just to create a forest-like atmosphere and make it extremely green So It feels like stepping into this bedroom as if entering a sanctuary And within it we also have our own main bathroom which also serves as a vegetable storage area On the floor level we have placed The sky's light above it so beautiful And these floors are like embracing floors wrapped in a glass net On the second floor this is more of a space designed for our children It includes two bedrooms for my daughters and on the second floor our children's space includes a learning area filled with many lessons and there 's also a piano for our children to play Behind it we have a large balcony that they can use We also at when they grow up they will have friends there and might invite them to join their friends and they will need their own space So we think this will be a wonderful place for them to come together on the balcony So when I built this house I poured all that attention into money This has been a truly inspiring journey for us as a family and for me personally as a designer creating our own home And I've always thought that creating a home is a deeply personal journey We love that they can have An active life between outside and inside I think it 's truly beautiful to be able to build your own home and lived within it learning growing and experiencing the rhythms of daily home life
