If you're looking for a refreshing drink with a moderate caffeine boost, then this
peach green tea lemonade recipe is perfect for you.
I went out and taste tested the Starbucks peach green tea lemonade so I could accurately
recreate it for you.
And today I'm going to share three different ways that you can make it at home.
The first version uses a pre-made peach lemonade to keep things super simple and easy.
I found this organic peach lemonade, which I really like because it has simple ingredients.
And I'll have it linked down below.
You'll want to chill this in the refrigerator beforehand to ensure that your drink stays
nice and cold.
Okay, to make the peach green tea lemonade, start by brewing your tea.
Now as far as I know, Starbucks uses the Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea.
I like to use the Good & Gather Zen Green Tea from Target because it's organic and fair
trade.
Right now it's out of stock online, but I'll link it down below in case it gets restocked.
Tozzle also has a similar Zen Tea, and Yogi also makes a Kombucha Green Tea, which is
similar.
Basically, you're looking for a green tea that has added lemongrass, lemon verbena,
and mint.
Okay, place one teabag in a heat-proof 12-ounce glass.
Pour half a cup of boiling water on top and allow to steep for three minutes.
Remove the teabag and pour two-thirds cup of the cold peach lemonade on top, and give
it a mix.
Now just fill the cup the rest of the way up with ice, and you're good to go.
That was stupid easy.
I'll just give it a stir to help get everything nice and cold, and let's give it a taste.
Mmm, so refreshing.
I like how you get both the green tea and mint flavors from the tea.
Now if you don't have access to peach lemonade, no fear, I have another easy way to make this.
The method is basically the same as the previous recipe, but we're going to switch out and
add a couple of ingredients.
Instead of the peach lemonade, we're going to be using this Simply Peach drink.
You can find this at Target, and probably Walmart, and it's actually really yummy by
itself as well.
But since this isn't a lemonade, we'll be adding some fresh lemon juice to add that
tanginess.
Okay, brew the tea the same way that we did before.
Pour 1 1⁄2 cup of boiling water over a teabag in a heat-proof glass.
Allow to steep for 3 minutes.
Remove the teabag and pour 2⁄3 cup of the pink drink into the glass.
And now we're going to add 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Okay now add the lemon juice, top with ice, give it a stir to get everything nice and
cold, and you're good to go.
This one actually tastes closer to the Starbucks version, probably because there's natural
flavors in the Simply Peach drink.
This does require you to use fresh lemon juice, but it is still pretty easy and the flavors
are really lovely.
And finally, I have a method that doesn't require any pre-made drinks.
This one is going to be made a bit differently than the first two methods.
We'll start by brewing the tea again, but this time we'll use 1 1⁄3 cups of boiling
water.
After the tea has steeped for 3 minutes, remove the teabag.
Now to get that peach flavor, we're going to be using frozen peaches actually.
Okay, place 5 peach slices into the blender pitcher, and throw an extra one in just for
good measure.
Okay now add a tablespoon of lemon juice, and a tablespoon of maple syrup.
You could use sugar or a simple syrup instead if you don't want to use maple syrup.
Okay, there we go.
Now carefully pour the warm tea on top of the peach slices.
The frozen peaches are going to help cool down the tea.
Now place the lid on your blender, and then place a kitchen towel on top of that to catch
any spills.
Please be very careful with the warm tea.
If it's too hot, let it cool down before blending.
You don't want to burn yourself here.
Okay, turn the blender on and blend until everything is really smooth.
Okay, that looks nice and smooth.
Now pour it into your glass, and top with the ice.
Give it a stir to get everything cold.
Okay, tasting time.
This version has the least peach flavor of the three because it doesn't contain any natural
flavorings.
But it also has the brightest color and the most natural ingredients.
Now besides having more control over the ingredients, the other advantage to making this at home
is that you'll be saving some money.
A tall iced peach green tea lemonade will set you back $3.85, but a 12 to 16 ounce serving
of my homemade version will only cost about $0.40 to $0.65.
That's a crazy savings.
If you use the frozen peach method, it will set you back more like $2 depending on if
you use frozen ingredients.
It will be more like $1.50 if you use conventional peaches.

Jade cinch...
Cintris...
Jade cinch...
Holy cow, it doesn't even fit into my lemon squeezer.
I'll make it fit.
Scissors.
They're a brilliant invention.
Is there a seed in there?
Oh, there's a seed.
