Check out all the best shots from Saturday at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational, featuring Akshay Bhatia, Scottie Scheffler, Rickie Fowler and Min Woo Lee, among others. Round 3 was suspended due to darkness and will resume Sunday at 8am.
The PGA TOUR continues its Florida Swing with a short trip north to Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, a Signature Event hosted at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge. A stacked field returns to one of the TOUR’s most demanding venues, highlighted by the season debuts of Justin Thomas and Sungjae Im. Thomas, a 16-time TOUR winner, makes his first official start since undergoing microdiscectomy surgery in November, while Im returns after recovering from a wrist injury. Defending champion Russell Henley looks to become the first back-to-back winner at Bay Hill since Matt Every (2014-15). Scottie Scheffler also returns to a venue that has treated him well, a two-time champion (2022, 2024) who has never finished outside the top 25 in five appearances. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy, the 2018 winner, joins Scheffler in leading a field that features every player inside the top 20 of the Official World Golf Ranking. FedExCup leader Jacob Bridgeman is back in action following his victory at The Genesis Invitational, along with recent Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches winner Nico Echavarria. Bay Hill (par 72, 7,466 yards) remains one of the TOUR’s sternest tests. Water is in play throughout the layout, and scoring has historically hovered over par, placing a premium on elite ball-striking and patience across four demanding rounds.

He is hitting a second at the first.
Playing some solid golf.
They're projected at 23 in the FedEx Cup right now.
Almost hopped it in from the fairway.
These guys are attacking that whole location at one.
Up to the first green and Ricky
for a strong start.
Back to this putter not long ago.
14, 15 year old putter that he's had at the house for a long time.
Now Sepp at the par 3-7.
Already 3-under.
Boy, this is a good flag stick for him.
He loves to play that draw.
Yeah, good flag stick.
Good shot.
Sepp Straka for a fifth birdie.
Come on.
Beautiful stroke.
Wow.
Can you believe how they're just touching it?
That's how quick these greens are right now.
Excuse me, a fourth birdie.
Three-quarter lob wedge with a little help.
And he's got it right on line.
Let's see if it's the number.
Oh, yeah.
It's the number.
All right.
He drove it down there so far.
He was able to use a sand wedge, put a ton of spin on it.
Ran it well by this for par.
Left to right.
A little bit left of the hole, leaving himself an uphill putt.
Downhill putts on this green are particularly icy.
This right of the hole.
Oh, what a shot.
And it did get left of the hole.
You cannot do better than that.
He should be able to save his par.
Nice.
This could be one of those professional fours.
He's over at the sixth for birdie to get to seven under and
join the growing pack.
See how much break he's playing here, Dan.
That's how fast the greens are.
Six or seven footer.
He's playing almost a foot out there.
Boy.
Great putt there.
Got her up off to a three-under start in the first six holes.
Sliding down a short iron.
This is turning to the right, right of the flag.
That's a nice shot.
Like John Wood said, that ball released a little bit into the
wind.
Putt a lefty likes here.
Boy, he is just putting so well this week.
The first two days, he was on fire.
Ridiculous amount of putts made, distance of putts made, and
that was beautifully read.
Scotty Sheffler trying to find something here after the
weather delay.
Maybe halftime, a little reset.
Yeah, you know, there's no quitting this guy.
Number one in the world.
He's going to go out there and try and figure things out.
Look at that start.
Look at all the squares there.
Cameron Young's second at this short par four.
Cam was on one under, all pars, and his lone birdie coming at
the sixth.
This is how he resumed play.
And saw hit the gala.
This is a sand wedge from 101 yards.
Trying to fight this down.
Keep the spin off of it back into the breeze.
He may have hung it a bit.
Got a good bounce there, Dan.
The gala looking for his first birdie.
See him aiming outside left here and just going to breathe
on this thing to get going.
Yeah.
Just gave it a touch and down it goes.
Just left to right here.
Match your speed up with the line you pick.
This is a hard one to judge on distance because you got to
take such a big swing to get it out of the rough.
Wow, skirted that bunker barely and it's going to trickle
downhill all the way to it.
The last couple of holes, Scottie Scheffler has turned
into Scottie Scheffler again.
Starting to find a little form after a rough start.
Second for Cameron Young at six under.
Terry, I saw his father, Dave, his coach as they were walking
off the practice tee this morning said that was the best
warm-up I've seen him have all year long.
So he's predicting some good things.
Log jam at a time for third is third at the par 5 12th.
The green light pen from the layup here back left.
He can use the wind to help you chase it to it.
Just like he's done there.
Boy, did he have that gauge perfectly?
That's going to be a tap-in birdie for Strachan.
Underneath the tree at 12, third for Young.
Yeah, that should be good.
They're going to be able to use the slope of the green to feed
it to the hole.
And he's got designs from close range to join.
This is holdable though.
We've got a good lie on the upslope there, Dan, out of the
first cut.
Hit that top groove spinner.
Be alright.
Oh my.
Be right.
More injuries for Berger as well.
13, Ben Woodley to get it to seven under par.
That's a really nice second shot too.
From the first cut, good lie.
He'll fly this just on the green and have it released from
that point.
Coming off a double bogey at 11.
If he chases it back here like Sep Strachan did.
Yeah, getting that forward bounce downwind.
You judged it nice.
Oh, wow.
That's going to be a birdie for Gotterup back on track.
And a save.
Walking down this fairway so much softer.
And he's got this on a beautiful line.
This could be very good.
Smiley, I saw you in the gym this morning.
Maybe you're putting in all that muscle while that fairway
is squeaking.
Too much ground force, Brad.
Exactly.
To that second shot up on the green here at 15.
Minwoo Lee.
Drop a shot.
Part of his putting turnaround.
He's talked about his, he says, I'm less mechanical.
Sometimes that's not really in his nature because he just
wants all this information.
It's hard for him to let go of not trying to be in control
all the time.
The always dangerous fairway bunker shot at 16 over the
water for Young.
Looks like he's made good contact.
Yeah, really, really good.
See if it'll stay.
Look at it's going to feed back down to a 25 or 30 feet.
Just has to get it feeding over a slope about halfway.
Yeah, and as Terry was mentioning earlier, every time
they make a run at him, Berger.
Yeah, has it going on today, Dan?
500 through 17s cap off a heck of a day.
Your fellow Bulldog did indeed have a good day.
66.
It's not like Berger's been lighting it up out here, kids.
Now, it just shows that how difficult the golf course is
that he makes that to get one under par on the day and
still right where he started.
And this is Ludwig Olberg over at the 14th.
This was just earlier for birdie.
He had a little bit of a rough start to his round earlier
today.
All of a sudden Ludwig's got three in a row.
That'll turn it around.
Couldn't make a putt on the front nine and putter starting
to heat up.
Get him back to even par on the day.
Oh man, his head never moved.
That was a great roll.
That good read.
Nice up and down.
You know, the course average today is 71.3.
It's the lowest of the week.
His lead is still four.
Got her up from the bank at 17.
I would say that's a much easier shot than he had on the
last hole.
Excuse me, I'm seeing people trying to make, players make
all these shots from off the green.
Shot by Batia from the sand.
By Fowler.
First birdie since the first hole.
He got a second at the par-5.
Setting up for a big hot fade.
Back right hole location.
Eyes wide open.
Getting bigger too.
That's because he loves it.
We got somebody up on the upper level.
I'm gonna give him that one.
Wanna give him that for eagle?
I'm giving it to him.
Cutting.
Little left of the flag, I think.
Yeah, just landed just short of the slope.
Gonna feed back a little bit.
Yeah, so good.
Yeah, really good.
Yeah, he's done, Dan.
He handed his putter back to his caddie.
Okay.
So Batia rolls it in.
Nice up and down.
Birdie for him.
Sun's been down now for several minutes and we are done with
play.
In this third round, but they're not done with the third
round.
Again, they'll resume it at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
Berger will have an eagle putt at the 16th.
