Why do the best skiers in the world live here

I have a feeling once I'm in the air I'm going to realize it's pretty big.
So we've got a massive amount of people that are all funneling their way up to go shred pow.
It's just a mecca for skiing. It's got everything you could want
if you're looking to progress yourself in the sport.
There's nowhere else in the world with this much access to this thick of terrain and
you could easily spend a lifetime out here and still just barely scratch the surface.
It's so hard when you're in the thick of it to see where you're actually going.
But once you get up there it's going to be a little
heavy up here but I think we're going to be really good actually.
Growing up in Whistler has kind of shaped the skier I am today.
If one guy does something sick you got to try to one-up him.
So that's kind of the mentality we all had and
that's the way we all became such good skiers out here in Whistler.
Bigger lines, fine lines are starting to get all filled in and looking all sexy.
So that's kind of our goal is just to like start transitioning from
skiing trees and pillows to getting back in the alpine and
start wrapping our heads around snowpack and getting our heads in the game.
Oh yeah, first time up Brandywine this year.
It actually looks really good right now.
When you stand on top of it it doesn't look that big.
I have a feeling on some in the air I'm gonna realize it's pretty big.
It looks definitely looks good from here.
I think you have to gap about 30 feet out clear the rock.
I'm right at home.
I mean the scariest thing about skiing is how much fun it can be.
How much you can get those endorphins going.
You just skied some epic line, your buddy just skied an epic line.
You're living life at such an insane level and that's what scares me the most is like
feeling that much enjoyment, that much stoke being that alive and then
when it's over it's gone, it's done.
It's just in the memory banks and if you want to do it again
you got to go risk yourself getting on exposed terrain but then when you get to the bottom
it feels so good.
