Well, thank you for sharing how you feel today.
Today, I'm feeling excited
because it's the beginning of the week.
Oh, we have so much to do in the beginning of the week.
Are you ready to learn today?
Great.
Well, let's head over to our circle time board.
Let's go together.
Come on.
Okay, my friends, we are here at our circle time board.
So first, I need to find my pointer,
my circle time pointer.
P for pointer.
My friends, let's start with the days of the week
so we can find out what day it is today.
Are you ready?
Wonderful.
Help me sing.
Let's sing together, everyone.
Get ready.
Here we go.
There's Sunday and there's Monday.
There's Tuesday and there's Wednesday.
There's Thursday and there's Friday.
And then there's Saturday.
Days of the week.
One more time.
There's Sunday and there's Monday.
There's Tuesday and there's Wednesday.
There's Thursday and there's Friday.
And then there's Saturday.
Days of the week.
Days of the week, days of the week.
We did it.
Thank you friends for helping me sing,
but we still need to find out what day it is today.
Let's go back over to our board.
Yesterday was Sunday.
Can you say Sunday?
Now, let's go down one.
After Sunday is Monday.
Today is Monday.
Today is Monday all day long.
Yes, today is Monday.
Today is Monday.
Today is Monday all day long.
Yes, yes my friends, today is Monday.
M for Monday.
Let's put it on the board.
Oh, can you say Monday?
Monday, great.
Now, let's read that sentence together.
Help me read it.
Today is Monday.
Let's read it again.
Today is Monday.
Oh, thank you my friends.
Today is Monday.
It's the top of the week.
That means it's the beginning of the week
and we have so much to do.
We're going to learn a new letter of the week.
Oh, my friends, we're going to learn
a new shape of the week.
But first, let's find out what's the weather?
What's the weather?
What's the weather out today?
Is it sunny?
Is it cloudy?
Is it raining out today?
Oh, what's the weather where you live?
You may have to go look out your window
and then come back and tell me what you see.
I'll give you some time.
Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do.
Are you back?
Great, what did you see?
What's the weather where you live?
Oh, oh, well, thank you for sharing.
Well, now it's my turn.
I want to find out what the weather is here
where the circle time classroom is.
Will you help me?
Great, let's go over to our imaginary window.
Let's go together so we can look out the window
and find out what the weather is here.
Come on, everyone, let's go together.
Okay, now we're here at our imaginary window.
Ooh, my friends, what do you see?
Do you see snow?
No, it's not snowing out today.
Oh, do you see rain?
No, it's not raining out today.
Oh, is it a sunny day?
Yes, I see the sun as well.
It's a sunny day out today.
Now we need to find a picture that represents a sunny day.
Let's head back to our circle time board
and find the picture.
Come on, let's go together.
Okay, now that we're back at our circle time board,
let's find a sunny day picture.
Let me see if I have a sunny day picture here.
Oh, oh, I don't know, friends, let's see.
Is, oh, oh, my goodness, is this a sunny day picture?
No, oh, this is a cloudy day picture.
Let me try again, let me try again.
Oh, how about this picture?
Is this a sunny day picture?

Okay, let me try one more time.
One more time, I can try again.
Oh, my friends, is this a sunny day picture?
Yes, it is, this is our sunny day picture.
Yes, oh, let's put it on the board
because it's a sunny day out.
We've seen the sun when we looked out the window,
so it's a sunny day.
Let's read the sentence together.
Will you help me?
Great, the weather is sunny.
Let's read it again.
The weather is sunny.
Oh, it sure is, it's a sunny day out today.
Oh, now we can help our friend.
Who are we going to help this week?
Oh, whose turn is it?
Which circle time friend is going to come
so we can help them this week?
Oh, my friends, last week it was Piggy Pig's turn.
This week it's, can you guess?
Oh, take a guess, shout it out.
What do you think?
Ooh, oh, my friends, if you said dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun,
koala, you're correct, it's koala's turn.
This week is koala's turn.
We will help koala get ready for the weather each day.
Okay, let's put koala on the board.
Welcome back, koala.
We're so happy to have you here.
Now, it's a sunny day, it's warm outside.
Let's help koala get ready.
Okay, koala, let's see what we have for you today.
Hmm, how about rain boots?
It's a sunny, warm day.
Should he put on rain boots?
Nah, let's save the rain boots for another day.
So no to the rain boots, we'll save them for another day.
How about, ooh, blue sneakers?
Koala has some blue sneakers.
Yes, sneakers are a good idea.
Let's put on his blue sneakers.
Oh, wonderful, and then koala has what color pants?
Or jeans?
Blue, yes, blue as well.
Blue sneakers, blue jeans.
Oh, let's find a shirt for koala.
Ooh, do you think he should wear a yellow shirt
or a blue shirt?
What do you think?
All blue today?
Oh, my friends, if you said blue, I agree.
Why don't we try an all blue day?
And we'll save the yellow shirt for another day.
Okay, another day.
Oh, koala, blue shirt, blue pants, blue sneakers.
Oh, and I think koala has some books and some toys.
He can put it in his blue backpack.

And guess what, my friends?
Blue starts with letter B, blue backpack.
Oh, so much blue.
So many things start with letter B.
Oh, thank you for helping me, friends.
Koala, have a good day.
Great, now we can keep on going.
We finished the weather, and now it's time to learn
the new letter of the week.
Hmm, what's our letter of the week?
I wonder.
Oh, my friends, last week we were reviewing letter O.
Remember?
We practiced writing letter O.
We found out the letter sound.
O says ah, ah.
And now this week, we're going to the next letter.
Oh, my friends, what letter comes after O in the alphabet?
Do you know?
It's okay if you don't know.
I have an idea.
How about we sing the alphabet together?
And then we can find out what letter comes after O.
Will you help me sing?
Oh, wonderful.
Okay, everyone, get ready.
Get ready, we're going to sing together.
And let's sing it a little slow, not too fast.

After letter O comes P.
Oh, letter P.
My friends, this week's letter is P.
Can you say P?
Great, this is uppercase P and lowercase P.
Oh, every letter makes a sound.
And P says P.
It's a very quiet sound.
It's almost like you're blowing a puff of air.
Try it, try it, just like that.
P for pizza, pumpkin.
What else do you think starts with letter P?
Oh, penguin.
Oh, my friends, letter P.
