hello everyone, here from south korea once again. today we're in the city of busan, one of the popular
cities to visit in south korea and this is the second most populous city after seoul. but very
different to seoul isn't it? because of this. yeah because of this. it almost reminds me of copacabana
really does. yeah the south korean version of copacabana. yeah because like copacabana you
also have the green hills and mountains, the backdrop, even the sand color almost looks the
same. really nice beach, so this is called haeundae beach, don't know if i'm pronouncing that correctly
and this is one of the most famous beaches in south korea. so in the previous video we were in
and we went to a real paradise looking beach there, a lot nicer than this one even. so i don't think
we're gonna spend any time on this beach right now, we're gonna be doing more like walking and
visiting temples, villages but we will be seeing other beaches too. so we're staying at that building
i think just back there, not on the beach front, the one behind. so it's only like a minute
to walk to the beach and here on the beach front there's loads of bars and restaurants, a real nice
vibe. so these are the three big buildings that you see in all the photos of busan, might actually
just be one building but three towers. i think there's a water slide on top of this one. yeah
yeah you can actually pay to go there, i saw some pictures. like a day pass. yeah it's like some big
big pools and water slides like you said. so now we've come to the mipo station, one of the most
popular things to do in busan is travel around on these little train things, i don't even know what
you'd call that but they're pretty much all fully booked. i think from what you saw it has to be
way in advance right? yeah so there are two things, the sky capsule which is that little one and the
beach train, this one the biggest one and for this one you can still buy the ticket now
but for the the other one which is more famous and it's smaller you need to buy it in advance
so it was totally sold out and when i searched online you could buy through the official website
but there was some error with the international card so i could not buy it and on some other
websites i think there was only availability for two weeks time so yeah we're not gonna be here in
two weeks. yeah high demand to travel on those things, they look so cool too. there goes the beach train
people waving but we can still walk on this nice walkway, i think it pretty much goes side by side
the train track the whole time. a quick intermission to talk about the sponsor of this video incogni
incogni is a personal data removal service that automatically removes your personal information
from public websites and private databases. there are companies called data brokers that
specialize in collecting your personal information such as your full name, home address and even
financial information from different sources like your web searches and even from data breaches on
sites that you signed up to. data brokers will then sell on this data to other businesses and
even to criminals. an example of this is when you get spam phone calls, spam emails or even robot
callers. if you've ever wondered how they got this information then this is one of the ways.
however you have the right to protect your privacy and request that data brokers delete
the information that they hold about you. the problem is that this can take you years to get
it removed if you were to do it manually and that's where incogni steps in. they have an
automated system which identifies where your data is being used and they will send requests to have
it removed. even when new cases come up they will automatically take care of it without you having
to do anything. they have a really user-friendly dashboard which shows you the removal requests,
which ones are pending and how many have been successful. incogni also has an unlimited plan
which can handle custom removals. an example of this is if you search yourself on google
and find websites that are using your private information, you can share the links to those
websites to incogni and their privacy experts will look into having it removed. incogni offers
a 30-day money-back guarantee so there's no risk to try it out. click on the link in the video

nice on the walk, they have these observation decks. i think there's quite a few of them.
also get a better shot of the, what was it called? sky capsule. yeah sky capsule. a better angle to see them
they go pretty slow, i mean almost the same pace as us walking. this platform's even glass bottom
i never like it. carol can walk on it, makes me feel uneasy. and that's where we're heading
that little village there, looks like it might take around 20 minutes still. so now we've come
to a famous temple called heidong yonggungsa and we ended up getting an uber because there was no
easy way to get here with public transport, so for 17 minutes that was 12,000 won. in the majority
of the other times we've just been getting on the trains and metro, buses sometimes do
and this is the most popular temple in busan, that's why it's so busy already at the entrance
already got some really nice statues at the entrance, kind of different to any that we've
seen before. we saw some cool statues in jeju also. i think this sculpture is guanyin, we saw her in
thailand, buddhist country. and i mentioned the statues in jeju, i think it's this one here
the stone grandfather
and this is why it's so popular, probably one of the nicest settings that i've ever seen
for a temple on the sea, beautiful turquoise color. i like the arch bridge too, real nice
that's interesting over there, the brick thing, stone. yeah like almost like chimney, i don't know
like a chimney. yeah it might be a stupa i don't know, stone stupa, beautiful. so you can make a
wish if you want, wishing for health, happiness, prosperity to our family. get some more nice views
here at the bottom. so before we came to south korea i don't think we expected the nature to be
so good, so even in seoul it was very mountainous too, lots of green mountains. jeju the nature was
everywhere right? yeah yeah the the main place for nature so far. here around busan there are so many
hikes and mountains that you can go to and there's a lot of beaches to go so it's really nice for
nature too. yeah it's perfect and then you also have like the big city vibes too with the buildings
a bit of a mix of everything busan. i think people are trying to throw money into the bowl
wanna try carol? no you can try because i know that i'm not gonna get it right but maybe you can
so now we've come to our second beach of the day, this one is called songdo, looks like a mini
version of where we're staying since you still have the tall apartment buildings and this is
where you can get the cable car. we didn't get the little train thing before so maybe we'll do that
seems to go somewhere over there, not entirely sure what's over there but looks cool. but right
now we're starving. yeah time to find a place to eat. are you craving anything specific or? no not
really. okay that's easier then. so there's already quite a few restaurants right here
i think this one is western food. oh look at the fish. so we did choose one of the restaurants
right on the beach front, got a really nice shot of the beach from here. i think i'm gonna get the
bulgogi again, 13 900. they also have pizzas too don't they? yeah. around 18 000. i think i'll go
for the rice cake and dumpling soup. 8 900? yeah. looks good too. so this is the spiciest bulgogi
that i've had so far, really delicious though. they always put the the seeds on top, extra flavor
and yeah i think the rice is for me. they brought an egg this time, don't think you had that the
other times. even got seeds on that. and then they bring this with the majority of korean foods
it's a radish with some sort of spices. how's your soup think? it's very good, it's not spicy
at all but it's very tasty. so we're getting on the cable car now, it's 13 000 per person
just one way though. i think if you want a round trip it's 17 000 but after we're just going to
get an uber to another village so that's why we're only going one way. another thing about
is it's a surf destination so you can do surfing here, that would be cool. i don't think we're
going to have much time on this trip. yeah the waves look pretty good. that's a wave park. oh
it's a wave park? artificial. yeah it is. that's why the waves look good then. so that's cool we've
got it to ourselves. there were signs saying that you had to share it with six other people
i think it's a monday and there's not that many people here, you get it to yourselves. we've made
it to the other side, i think there is some sort of viewpoint to go to on this side. lots of things
for little kids around here. got the gorilla, some dinosaurs back there too. its head's moving
tyrannosaurus rex, that's what's making all that noise
the artist. oh that's a pretty good painting especially for a statue. painting with some
ice cream. yeah so that's the little prince, the famous book. you ever read that? yeah when i was
younger. yeah the little prince man, another one. we actually saw this around seoul as well
with the long feet, i didn't know it was the little prince though when we saw it over there
i think everything here is the theme of the little prince. the plane too, i never read the book so
i don't really know any of the characters. a real good view here of the cable cars
so songdo beach was just over there. this is an island, a separate island. so now we've come to a
village called gamcheon, i think this is going to be our final stop for today. legs are getting tired
yeah it's been a very tiring day walking all the time. in the heat as well. yeah it's very hot. yeah
it's been over 30 degrees. so this village was originally constructed in the 1920s for the
working class that were working in the port that's nearby. busan has a very big port, i think even now
it's the sixth largest container port in the world, so a really big one. so we mentioned at the beginning
of the video how the beaches and landscapes reminded us of rio and check this out, this is
probably even more like rio because over there we have the favelas, this is a slum like over there
but very similar how it's going up the hillside, the mountainside, lots of houses crammed together
kind of colorful too. so this viewpoint is called the new little prince viewpoint so once again
they have the little prince thing going on, must be really popular here in south korea
since it's in every city that we visit. really good viewpoint though, we're pretty much right at the
top of the village but you can walk around everywhere there's lots of cafes and stores now
a lot to see. it even looks like rio with all the wires. yeah yeah i noticed that it's like a big
big mess with the wires but i like it, feels like home. so in 2009 they started renovating here
and they invited street artists to create murals and things like that to try and promote it for
tourism and it has worked because i think every year they get over a million visitors now
some cool little alleyways, i can't believe how similar this is to to rio. no guys holding guns
though. yeah you don't have to worry about the dealers here. that's from spirited away
which is japanese anime. one piece i think too. and little prince. and little prince as always
yeah santorini. i did read that it has the nickname santorini of south korea,
should be the rio of south korea. we're changing that nickname. a lot of the houses have these blue
roofs too, all of them. we actually saw that in other places in busan, not just this village
so we're just going down this alleyway because we could see this cafe from the other side
and it looked like a quieter one since it's a bit hidden. yeah the rooftop looks cool there
so carol got hot chamomile tea that's 5 500 and i got ice milk tea 6 500
so the views are pretty good from this place. there's only like two touristy streets really
and that's up at the top, the rest is just where the locals walk around and drive around really
no stores. so we're back in hyundai once again, it's just around sunset time right now. the sun's
actually already gone down we can see it from our place where we're staying, it goes down over there
over here will be the sunrise. i think it's even busier at this time than during the day
maybe because people are usually avoiding the sun during the day, i mean some people, but yeah it's
even busier and it's a weekday as well it's not a weekend. even got some live music today
we didn't see this on the other days
i believe i can touch the sky
and now we're heading to the main walking street here in hyundai which is just right here next to
the beach. i always love the live billboards, it's kind of like a video playing. don't know what's
going on on that one right now. oh explosion of stars, we always see these in this region of asia
it's really real. yeah this is cooler than what they were showing the other night
fireworks. so this is the third time that we're visiting this part, really cool it's basically just
restaurants, cafes, absolutely everywhere. we ate at that place the other day, burger and pasta
and there's also lots of arcade kind of games too. i think that's the balloon one isn't it? like a dart
oh yeah there's also many fortune tellers. yeah we didn't see that so much in other places did we?
but here they have a lot but i think it's only like korean speaking ones. ah not for foreigners
not for us. that one right? yeah that's one of them. and then at the side of the main street
there's this tiny little walking street, a little food street. i think basically all the
stores here are food. we also got some food here the other day, chicken hearts was tasty
some little places that you can eat indoors too. oh check these guys out, little octopus
the majority of the restaurants and stalls here are for seafood. yeah really strong seafood smell
oh that's wiggling
i wonder if it's this? what is that? it's alive whatever it is. korean barbecue place, it's gonna
be our first time having a korean barbecue. so you actually grill here in the middle on the table
i think this is to suck up the smoke. i don't know if we're gonna do it or if they do it for us
we'll see. we just made the order here on this screen and yeah this is just what they bring
with pretty much all of the meals in korea right? the same set. yeah we love it though
nice and spicy. kimchi and other veggies. so the meat has come, we got this beef set here
including this for 55 000. also has some mushrooms too so i think we just do it
ourselves. he said if we need help we can call him. how to flip this. there we go
so here they don't use knives to cut the meat, big scissors instead
i think it's ready now. there we go nice and easy
and then they have the different seasonings here so i'll sprinkle some salt
i think that one's probably spicy and the guy said this is sesame oil. yeah big nice juicy piece
yeah that is really juicy, really tasty. so the lady just showed us that for the thin strips you
can kind of make a wrap and then you dip it in the red sauce and the sesame oil. yeah we were
doing it very wrong. we were just eating the meat pure. is it good the wrap? very tasty meat
waiting for these little ones now. this has definitely been one of the best meals in korea
so far, they've all been great but this is one of my favorites. we also got some noodles here too
that was 6,000 won. maybe we didn't need to get it, the meat's already a lot of food
it's the same scam, he picks it up and then drops it. yeah it was like that in taiwan. so that's
going to be it here from busan after four amazing days here. we were going to do a little hike as
well but there was a big rainstorm. i think we are here in the rainy season so that happened
but yeah very happy with all the things that we saw. it's the kind of place that we could even
live, it's just cool how you have the city, the nature, mountains and beaches, kind of perfect.
and the place that we're staying is 50 a night so really good price. so it's a double bed and
a single one just like the last place that we stayed in jeju. and then here you got things like
water filter, that's also convenient because the boiling hot water comes straight out so we don't
have to boil water anywhere. we've got a washing machine and a dryer so we're able to clean our
clothes. and then you got these drawers here but one of them is actually a fridge too and a freezer
below. and then a microwave and then the other ones are just for clothes. so in the next video
we're going to be heading to an island called ulungdo which is a place that many foreign
tourists don't go. our next two videos are going to be more like off the beaten path so we're
looking forward to it, the island looks spectacular. if you like this video just drop a like as usual
