Zhou Qihao vs Huang Youzheng | MS R32 | #WTTChongqing 2026

It's gonna be such a lovely contrast. Pace on that. Way to get that serve receive back. Oh how does he do that? The previous two backhands have been decent enough and then came the winner. Beautiful deceptive little touch inside out. Serve receive long forehand. He's done very well there because he wasn't exactly balanced. So that came from under the table. Oh and again. It's just beautiful. Good comeback from the youngster though. These fans know their table tennis. Just listen to them. And talk about attack. This man has no fear. Yeah it is. Well there's one of them. In the end it was harder work than he would have thought when he stood on the brink. Long to forehand if it's there as well. That is expertly done by Cho Chiharu. Makes the difficult. And again he did the same thing. A calculated move. Just show of emotion here. Oh that's unfortunate. Acknowledged by Cho. No it's a good job. This is a cavernous arena. That ball went high high high up in the air. It almost hit the jumbotron. Didn't need to hit the ball hard. No that is insane. He played at least three shots out the hip pocket there. Yeah look at that one. But he comes back well. This is every bit as good as you said it would be Cho. Very very entertaining. The points have gone his way. But once again it's stunning. Just stunning. Cho Chiharu getting forced backwards by the youngster. We see all the power and then the backhand counter comes in. Because he just has the edge. It's funny that you know there was almost a sense that I think the fans are sharing with you that they want more of this. They don't want this to end in straight games. That could make for a lot of fun. There we go. He's got to start stepping to the right and just unleashing that forehand all over the table. He's got to set it up well like he's doing different and reel off points. Not this time. Pace again is the answer for Huang in this game though. Oh he missed it. Comes as a to get back to two one down. And he does. Is this the start of something special? Are we in for the five that Cho demanded at the very start of this one? Well maybe. Much better to the different variables that come in his way. Drop. Brilliantly done. He is on the rise. The rest of the world are in for some trouble. Once this kid starts. Cute. All he had to do was get there. He left the door wide open and Joji Hao just walked straight through. Thank you very much. Bat high. Game in a bit. And his opponent's trying to just extinguish that. Oh wonderful stuff. And any match in which you see He says. I know. What a counter. Joji Hao forced all the way back. Read the power. Like that backhand counter we saw. Did you say power? We saw one earlier where he left the door open. Misses. Stepping in. A little frustrated. Put off the gas. Well that's a taste of his own medicine. It's deja vu. Still went for it though. I love that he brought the attack again. Take this maybe into a fifth. But misses. And as a result. End it he does. Cheers. Yes. Maybe a little disappointment for fans who wanted more of this real entertainment that's been served up by these two Chinese stars. But Joji Hao is professional enough, canny enough, good enough to get it done. A difficult opponent has been not brushed aside.
