Hello everyone, welcome back to our channel RD's happy time. We are travel blogger, keep traveling
and exploring nature beauty surrounding us. Today I am visiting one of Bangalore's most
iconic and colorful events, the Republic Day Lalbagh Flower Show 2026. In this video,
I will share complete information including dates, timing, entry fees, best time to visit,
how to reach, parking details, and some very useful tips to help you plan your visit smoothly.
So let's get started. The Lalbagh Flower Show is one of the most popular seasonal events in
Bangalore. It is held twice every year, once during Republic Day in January and once during
Independence Day in August. So during this time, the entire Lalbagh Botanical Garden turns into a
thousands of flower varieties on display across the garden and inside the famous glass house.
The Republic Day Lalbagh Flower Show 2026 started today from 15th Jan and it will go until 26th Jan.
The theme for this year is multifaceted life and writing of Sri Poornachandra Tejasvi,
the well-known Kannada literature and cultural icon.
You will see beautiful floral structures inspired by his life and works,
especially inside the glass house. The flower show is open every day from 7 am till 7 pm evening.
The best time to visit is early in the morning, especially if you want peaceful views and fewer
crowds. Morning visits are also perfect for a relaxed walk, a light run inside Lalbagh.
If you plan to visit on weekends or on 26th January, the last day, be prepared for heavy
crowds and long queues. Let's export the entry fee. Here are the ticket prices for the flower show.
Adult 80 rupees on weekdays, adult 100 on weekend and holidays. Children's are 30 rupees all the
days and if children's are coming in school uniform, it's free entry for them. One important
tip is to carry cash as UPI payments may not work all the time due to technical glitches.
Also, carry correct change to save your time. You can enter the Lalbagh without a ticket also
before 9 am if you are just coming for a morning walk or jogging. However, to see the flower show
from 7 am, you need to buy tickets near the glass house and if you are coming after 9 am,
everyone entering Lalbagh during flower show days must purchase tickets from the counters
near the gates. Most important question now, how to reach Lalbagh? So, the best way to reach
Lalbagh flower show is by metro. Take the green line towards Yelachandhanli and get down at
Lalbagh metro station. Also, there are multiple buses ply which stops just near
Lalbagh Botanical Garden. You can refer the details given here in the screen.
There are actually four gates in Lalbagh. From all gates, you will need to walk a bit
to reach the glass house which is in center. For senior citizens and differently abled visitors,
electric buggies are available at 100 rupees per person which directly takes you to the glass house.
Parking and vehicle restriction is a challenge near Lalbagh especially during this flower show.
The entry of private vehicle inside Lalbagh is completely banned by the horticultural department.
So, you can refer the parking details which I have shared in this screen. Car parking is
available at Shantinagar bus stand, BBMP car park near Hopcombs etc. And two wheelers you can park
at Al Amin college and Hopcombs premises just beside the gate. Apart from stunning flower
display inside the glass house, you will find beautiful flower arrangement spread across
different parts of the garden. There are plants and seeds stall near the glass house and also
there are many other multiple stalls which attract visitors. Now, time to explore inside the glass
house. Let's go. You will find plenty of snack stalls surrounding the garden where you can have
quick munch of fruit salads, Jhal muri and many more sitting at garden or at lakeside. Please
remember plastic is prohibited in Lalbagh area. Do not litter the place. Keep it clean. The Lalbagh
flower show is a must visit if you are in Bangalore during this January and August. It is colorful,
refreshing and a perfect experience for families and nature lovers. Do you like to visit during
