Ladies and gentlemen, happy Chinese New Year. My name is April.
I am with the Lianhua Arts Group and we are very happy to be here.
So now I will invite five volunteers of Falun Ganfa practitioners come to the stage
and demonstrate the Falun Ganfa exercise for us. It's a beautiful Chinese ancient meditation
practice. Falun Gong also known as Falun Ganfa is an ancient practice of cultivating one's mind
and body. Falun Gong has five gentle easy to learn exercises which are good for all ages.
The first exercise is Buddha showing a thousand hands. It uses gentle stretching movements to
open up all energy channels in the body. The second exercise is standing stance. It is comprised
of four static wheel holding postures that greatly enhances one's energy. The third exercise is
penetrating the cosmic extremes with its gentle hand gliding movements. This exercise purifies
the body using energy from the cosmos. The fourth exercise is Falun heavenly circle by gently
tracing the hands over the entire body. This exercise rectifies all abnormal conditions
and circulates energy widely. The people sitting in the front are showing the fifth exercise.
Sitting meditation that refines deep tranquility. Falun Gong teaches people to obtain genuine
physical and mental well-being through adhering to the universal principles of truthfulness,
compassion, forbearance. Since being introduced to the public in 90s, it has attracted an estimated
100 million in over six months. People who practice Falun Gong enjoy a healthy, peaceful
and harmonious. Your Falun may be right for you. Thank you. Monica Solo, you raise me up.
Thank you. Enjoy our performance today and I wish everybody a very very happy and healthy
year of course. Happy Chinese New Year. Thank you.
