I know, there are a lot of men's hairstyles out there.
In this video, you will see the top 15 men's hairstyles and rank them from best to worst.
If you don't know me, my name is Ali and on this channel, I pretty much talk about men's hair.
So let's get started without wasting any time.
The modern mullet is one of those hairstyles that works for almost everyone, whether you've
got an oval, square or round face. It suits straight and wavy hair types.
Styling and maintaining a modern mullet is easy as it doesn't require constant upkeep,
just occasional trims to keep the length and layers balanced. I believe this style
remains trendy this year. It is also budget-friendly with minimal expenses for
occasional cuts and optional styling. So I would rank it in the S-tier category.
The wolf cut is another adaptable hairstyle that complements many face shapes, particularly oval,
heart, triangular and oblong. It works beautifully with straight and wavy hair
types as its shaggy design naturally brings out texture and movement.
But achieving the wolf cut is a little difficult as it looks good with layers so not every barber
is an expert in layers cutting. This requires regular trims and styling to maintain its shape.
Plus, it is all over social media, so it will be on trend without a doubt. Maintenance is
moderately affordable, depending on the need for styling products like mousse or curling cream to
emphasize volume and layers. I'm definitely putting the wolf cut in the A-tier category.
The comb over works great for straight and wavy hair types and suits a variety of face shapes,
especially square, oval, and diamond. The best part is how easy it is to style!
All you need is a comb and some light styling product to keep it in place.
One issue with the comb over is that it can quickly lose shape throughout the day,
especially in humid conditions, requiring constant touch-ups or extra product to maintain
its neat appearance. By 2025, the comb over is considered a bit dated compared to fresher
styles. So comb over is going to C-tier category. The middle part works best with straight and wavy
hair and complements oval, diamond, and rectangular face shapes. The middle part looks best on
symmetrical faces, but it can highlight those uneven features if your face is not perfectly
balanced. It is fairly easy to achieve with a comb and a little product to keep the parts neat,
but it can take some effort, especially if your hair does not naturally fall that way.
This timeless hairstyle remains trendy in 2025, appreciated for its minimalist and sleek look.
Maintenance is budget-friendly, requiring minimal styling and regular trims to keep the hair healthy
and neat. To keep in mind all that, I'm putting it in B category.
The textured fringe is a great hairstyle for round, square, and oval face shapes. It is
perfect for wavy hair, but straight hair can pull it off too with a bit of added texture.
You can easily create the look using texturizing products, but it does take some time each morning
to style. You will need to add volume and texture to make it stand out, which requires a bit of
effort. It is definitely trendy this year, giving off a youthful and relaxed vibe.
However, keeping it looking sharp can be a bit tricky since you will need
regular trims, so the textured fringe, I believe, should be in the B tier category.
The foxhawk flatters oval, square, and round faces while working best with straight or
slightly wavy hair. It is fairly easy to style using wax or gel, but the only downside is that
requires precision when styling, so you will need to invest some time to make it look right.
While not a top trend in 2025, it remains a go-to for guys wanting a bold yet wearable look.
Maintenance is affordable as it mainly involves styling products and occasional
trims to keep the sides neat. For these reasons, I'm placing the foxhawk in the C category.
The slick back suits most face shapes, oval, square, diamond, you name it,
and it works best with straight hair. Though wavy hair can also look sleek with the right
product. It is easy to maintain as long as you have some pomade or gel, just be prepared if
using plenty of product to keep it in place. The style is slightly falling out of trend in 2025
but still exudes a classic timeless vibe. It requires minimal salon visits, but styling is
on the pricier side due to the need for products in large quantities, so it is going to the B
tier category. The side part works best for oval and square face shapes with straight or
slightly wavy hair but doesn't suit round or oblong faces. While it is relatively easy to
achieve with a comb and some styling products, it doesn't stand out as trendy in 2025 as bolder and
more textured styles are in trend. Plus, it is affordable to maintain, requiring only basic
trimming and minimal product. However, its limited adaptability and lack of trendiness hold
it back. So the side part got its spot in the C tier category. The French crop suits square and
oval faces best with short wavy hair. It is easy to manage daily with just a bit of product to
keep it neat, making it appealing for those who prefer low-maintenance styles. However,
it is not among the top trends for 2025 as textured and voluminous hairstyles dominate
the scene. While it is inexpensive to maintain with regular trims, its lack of widespread appeal
and trendiness keeps it in the C tier. The shag works for only oval faces with medium-length
wavy hair. It is no longer a standout option in 2025. It is not the easiest style to maintain
as it demands regular trims to keep its layers looking fresh. And for the effort it requires,
the payoff is underwhelming compared to higher-ranked styles. So it is going to the D tier
category. Messy Bun works best for oval, heart-shaped and square face shapes. It suits both
straight and wavy hair beautifully. It is easy to create with just a quick twist and a few pins.
The Messy Bun had its moment but in 2025, it is starting to feel a little outdated. Maintenance
is low-cost, often needing nothing more than a hair tie and some texturizing spray, making it
budget-friendly and practical. However, its lack of adaptability and trendiness place it in the B
tier. The Bro Flow compliments square, oval, and round face shapes and best suits wavy or thick,
straight hair. Bro Flow demands hair growth to reach its full potential, and without the proper
length and texture, it can look messy or unkempt rather than effortlessly styled. However, once
grown, the natural, relaxed vibe makes it an easy style to maintain daily. It is moderately trendy
this year, especially among those who prefer a rugged, effortless style. Maintenance is affordable,
with occasional trims and minimal styling products like a lightweight mousse or cream
being enough to keep it looking great. The Bro Flow should earn its spot in the A tier category.
The Classic Pompadour works best for oval, hard, and square faces with straight hair. While it is
not as trendy in 2025 as some other styles, its timeless appeal keeps it in the game. The
pompadour requires some effort to style and maintain, particularly to achieve the iconic
height and volume. The pompadour's shape can easily fall apart due to humidity, wind, or weak
styling products. A strong hairspray is key to keeping it in place all day. Maintenance costs
are moderate to high, given the need for regular trims and quality hair products to hold the shape.
So it is going to the D tier category. Curtain Bangs works for oval or hard-shaped faces with
straight or wavy hair. While they can look stylish, they require frequent styling to
maintain their signature look, making them less convenient for everyday wear. Worse yet,
it is completely out of style for 2025. Additionally, they can be costly to maintain
due to the regular trims needed to keep the bangs at the perfect length. Even if you are
willing to put in the effort to maintain it, the payoff is not there. If you are considering
curtain bangs, it is time to move on to something else. That's why I am placing curtain bangs in
the F category. The Dream Flow is perfect for straight and wavy hair, fitting well with oval,
rectangular, and hard-shaped faces. It is fairly easy to achieve, so you will need to grow your
hair out to a medium to long length, which can take months to achieve, making it a commitment
that might not work for those looking for a quick change. This style remains trendy in 2025 with its
relaxed effortless vibe being a favorite among those going for a natural yet stylish look.
Maintenance costs are moderate, requiring just regular trims and some leave-in conditioner to
keep the flow smooth. I wanted to keep it in the S tier category because of the hype this year.
That's the 2025 hairstyle ranking in my opinion. What is your list, guys? If you are looking to
get Dream Flow this year, I've made a step-by-step video. Watch this now!
