Almost ENDING Levi Morgan's Career...

I'm going to attach this lift to it I know you're thinking this lift has seen better days and you are absolutely right Let's just say things got a little Western at the old elk camp. We're just gonna leave it at that for now We'll put this on MFJ Jay's desk and go from there. You're absolutely right We were at elk camp in Utah and we were sharing camp with all of the black rifle coffee boys So Evan Hafer, Andy Stump, Tim Kennedy. Uh-huh And so Dan was just trying to be a nice guy and just like oh, we'll switch out the mods like, you know get it all figured out and That's when things start to go south quick. The best part is I've got I think I just figured out what happened But let's check it out. Yeah, let's go Know enough to be deadly, but I'm not a pro, you know, you're not a you don't know enough to be deadly You said I don't know enough to be deadly fix my bow John with a dental floss and a lighter Yeah, so he's he's gonna try to use a Hoyt and I was like well I got a backup backup bow Then I got a backup to my backup though. We got mods. Well, I mean to be honest with you Since switching to Matthews, I really haven't wanted to shoot anything else. Like that's just true That bow right there So I'm just gonna catch you guys up to speed and interrupt a little bit that bow right there was my backup backup bow in Time tune to my arrow and I saw Evan over there at the target range like pulling his hair out Because his lift was hitting high low high low and he thought it was him and I was like no man Your strings have stretched I can tell what we can do is literally take your mods your sight Put it in that bow you can use my arrows your arrows, whatever it'll be they're both 29 and a half It'll be your draw length your let off your sight. You'll be back in business. This will take two seconds Trust me. So now, you know kind of what's going on Enjoy the rest of the video Good height low right? All right. Okay Yep heights there. You just need to go a few more clicks to the right Held my breath. It was good. I had a backup backup So I put his mods on we put his sight on his UV. Yeah exactly the way but it's not tuned to his arrow, right? Yeah, and he's shooting a 50 grain Have a paper tuner here. This is Levi Morgan How lucky are we Arrows and paper, so here's the deal Evan is like CEO of BRCC he shot his Matthews lift 29 and a half String stretched for sure. And so he's getting some high lows and if you ever had your string stretch It sucks because you think you suck at archery and I was like, no, dude I think I bet your boat your timings off so we could because we have Levi. Is there a press here Levi? Current lifts you could get it back in time. Correct could do that Very hard to get it perfect, but I mean you can get it close I can look at the timing marks and see Yeah, your bottom cams hitting before your top cam for sure you're sure That causes exactly what you were talking about mrs. Like impact changes up and down Okay, yeah, I want to feel it more than anything it looks like the bottom of the head By pulling it yourself I can feel if it's like super bad. Yeah What just happened, oh, hey, there's no mods on it, that's what just happened now, what do we do we you guys run? Cuz it's a time bomb now Can you let it down seriously, oh, yeah Grab that, what if we can we take the arrow out right now? So when it does blow it doesn't Yeah Can we take the arrow out no, no, that'll be worse. Well, I'm just I don't want any carbon in your hand if you lower Nope yeah What are you holding right now Well, the only thing I'm afraid of is this arrow overdrew and it's like if it drops down on my hand That's why I'm asking if we can like just pop that thing out. What a G. What a what a G So now this is your bow. You can have this bow, baby This happened to me before And I got it in a press but I had a press and I got it in a press like this No, no. Yeah, but we don't have a press to be I'm just gonna be really honest with you I actually had no idea whether or not the mods were good Situation yes, it took me way too long to figure out. Well, you just pull the bow back See when it goes past the mods, yeah, it won't let off until it just blows up Oh, you're gonna let off let off let off and it's just gonna all go at once Ring is gonna roll off the cam What can we get the bottom to go on my leg? Yeah, but the top not gonna go it's not gonna go Well, there's nothing we can do He's running so there's light in the tunnel, can you just let it go, huh? He's let go. The only thing I can do is throw it. Yeah. So if we if he's got an easy press we can take it down and get in the press and press I was in a shop. Yeah, and I just held it and pressed it I got my first finger out of that hole somehow and I thought I was afraid I was gonna throw it Yeah, they're released we can get that off there for sure No one died nobody died It's like messing with rattlesnake I don't know So, do you get do you know what's holding it together? Yeah Telling you right now the story is If we can get this thing timed and go kill a bull with it that that is like Well, I'm not just assuming your glasses came off so my glasses are coming off I might be able to get one of those cables off so that we can Take a knife to that. Yeah. Oh we got we got Burt. We got fuzz. Oh, that's good. Okay No, no, we're good Nothing happened. It's not gonna go through the wall I Was Sincerely thinking when he was here. I'm like, okay. He's one of the world's best archers He half of his livings got to come from Target archery wins To do this fall. Yeah. Ah Just you know, so it worked out, but let's fit Evan paper black rifle.
