EXPLORING MADRID 🇪🇸: ICONIC LANDMARKS, PRADO MUSEUM & VIBRANT STREETS

Welcome to another vlog I'm in Madrid right now which is so exciting This is our first destination in Spain which is so beautiful We'll also be in Barcelona I'd love to see more cities in Spain while I'm on this side of the world If you're new to my channel I'm traveling and I've just returned from Porto and Lisbon so Madrid has been beautiful so far but I've been the worst vlogger ever because I didn’t vlog the first few days I was in Madrid since I felt truly ill after traveling from Lisbon to Madrid I felt a bit unwell and was out of sorts so I didn ’t record anything and really didn’t do much at all What's unfortunate is that I couldn't take as much of Madrid as I wanted but having said that today is my last day in Madrid And I'll do my best and try to share as much as possible So yesterday was truly a pleasant day Cain and I if you're new Cain is my boyfriend we're embarking on this adventure together We went to the main square which is truly a beautiful plaza an historically significant area within the scope of my limited research And there are many restaurants and cafés and that was truly beautiful to see The entire square is filled with this lovely plaza The one I didn't go to—I don't know if you can get inside but it was truly truly beautiful to see because there are all these paintings on the building's exterior and I love the building's color Then went to the Royal Palace of Madrid And that was one of the most beautiful historical sites I've ever seen It was so stunning this vast palace and it turns out you can actually go inside And there it is—what I didn’t do because I was so hungry I'm not the best traveler but that's okay I'm taking in all these sights and soaking everything in I love seeing the people here Everyone is so stylish I love how much effort goes into getting dressed people truly look put together And I love watching it it doesn't annoy me at all Since were quite hungry went to the Mercado food market and he was truly truly busy was very busy and I personally don't like walking on wheels so I had a tough time adjusting to being in such a busy market it seemed genuinely fun with plenty of tapas-style food and a wide variety of options Kate and I just got meatballs from there because they looked so delicious and the meatballs were delicious we really got something delicious here I keep saying delicious but it was simply delicious These lemon meatballs were so good we still have some left and I'm going to eat one later And then we just went home to rest but that brings us today today we're doing much more because it's once again the last day in Madrid so we want to see as much as possible and we've been craving sushi so for dinner tonight we're going to go buy sushi and then I really want to explore the Salamanca neighborhood because the original Loewe store is there I have to see it while I'm in Madrid since Loewe began in Madrid and I have to go check out the shop and really explore the Salamanca neighborhood because I'd heard about Salamanca before coming to Madrid and I began exploring this city and I would simply have placed I want to add a photo to the name so that’s going to be fun The tour ends with a little chocolate dip and churros—never in my entire life have I had churros so this is the city I have to try churros and these chocolate dips with churros look so good so we're going to eat some chocolate dip and churros I had to put chocolate dip right there we just love saying chocolate dip chocolate chocolate dip I just added a little of this white saffron from Bayredo it smells so so so good It's perfect because it's travel-sized so for putting it on this is what I'm wearing today— this vintage dress with a train I picked it up from Etsy I'm completely obsessed with it I've been using it nonstop on this trip it's like it's perfect for any weather I've matched it with the Gucci Jacky in the exact same color then I have some sneakers and then these sneakers I went out and got the black sneakers yesterday —actually because I've been walking so much I only brought one pair of sneakers and I really wanted another pair and I really should have filled out my sneakers but to be honest I really like these black sneakers more than the black ones I have at home because these just feel more practical to wear The black ones are a bit more sporty and I just feel the black pair suits my style better honestly they're like the simplest sneakers basic ones—everyone I see on the street has them—but knowing I have the black ones And seeing I was in need of another pair of shoes I just dug around and ended up with these black ones this is the dress And now we'ready to go Yes We're back around I think 11:30 It's late for me I'm utterly exhausted—we walked all day saw plenty but couldn't fit in everything I'd planned We couldn't visit the Salamanca neighborhood and I wasn't able to check out the Lobave store but we did see the museum The sushi was excellent but we definitely overate and now it's very late—I just really want to go to sleep But deep down I can't help thinking about how I didn’t get any churros during my time in Madrid It's so packed out there it's insane that it's almost midnight and there are still people everywhere but I guess this city just comes alive at night—should I go get churros should I Can I get churros I don't know Cain do you think we should get churros I'm undecided We just don't know I'm completely worn out Yeah we're so full we're exhausted I just want to stay home wash my face put on pajamas and just go to sleep I wish you could help me I don' ow what to do So that's really it for this Madrid vlog I hope you guys enjoyed it and be sure to follow along for more be sure to stick
