Next we pour in the noodles My mother and I burned
the conut ladder here ourselves for this purpose
By applying these measures we can effectively harvest rainwater
Don't waste a single drop and store them in a well or water reservoir if you wish to
I'm currently channeling water into the well
It's starting to rain folks—look the water's pouring down there A lot of
water is flowing into the filter tank
It's very secure when closed with no debris able to get in
Just open it whenever you need to
The initial volume of dirty water will flow out through this channel
The first water to flow will follow this path
Then we can close it off
The water entering the barrel is flowing steadily
The water is flowing down into the well in a
mesmerizing way It's rising rapidly
Hello everyone I'm D F Ubon Nabinh
Welcome to my channel
Previously we discussed refilling the well
I made a video on that topic
There are many comments asking me to provide a detailed guide on how to make
it Earlier I mentioned that this is my new house and the one over there is my old one
This well has been abandoned and unused for about two years
That's why I carefully cleaned and tidied it up
And so I directed the rainwater from the rooftop
straight down into the well At that time I hadn't filtered the water at all
However the water should be thoroughly filtered before being poured into
the well Directly channeling water in this manner can sometimes be unsafe
And I've received numerous comments pointing that out
So today let's take a look at the proper way to do it
At first I planned to just let the water flow in until it was full then start using it properly after a while
Anyway today we'll learn the proper way to refill a well

Every year we receive plenty of rain but that water isn't properly
utilized and simply runs off into the ground or flows away unused
We can certainly develop highly effective rainwater harvesting systems
If the house has a well we can channel water into it for use
Just fill the well once and we'll have water to last throughout the year
By following this approach we can freely use water
Currently as in our area people commonly use water drawn from boreholes
But if we refill the dug well we'll have easy access to clean water
That's why today I'm filling the well
To do this we need to filter the water
I'm using a 60-liter drum
We'll install the filter inside this drum
First I attach a water tank connector to the can
We drill a hole in the side of the well and
insert the tube from this connector into the well
Next inside the can's neck section
I installed a plastic PVC mesh
Above this mesh we will pour gravel and crushed stone
Without this mesh
Sand can fall into the well
That's why I had to lay a mesh lining
This pipe splits into two branches
A passage leads into the filter
The other passage is for diverting the initial rainfall which carries a heavy load of dirt
Dirty water will flow out through that drain
After draining the dirty water we'll
close the drain valve again to allow clean water to flow into the filter
Now we can pour the ice and the firewood into the can
Today my friend Rajip came to help me
He is a professional plumber and a friend of the person filming
Rajip will handle the installation
Without a professional this would be quite challenging
First we'll place the two directional stone markers
This jade must be washed thoroughly
Because they're not as clean as we think
There's a lot of dirt and dust on them
You need to rinse it at least 5 to 8 times to get it clean
Then we lay an additional layer of PVC mesh on top of this layer of gravel
Next we pour in the crushed stone
First comes a layer of gravel two inches thick followed by
PVC mesh Next is crushed stone then another layer of mesh
Above it is the layer of mesh covering the stone slab
And now we'll add the conut ladder
This is a conut ladder you know My mother and
I burned this conut ladder here ourselves for this purpose
This drying process is really
exhausting guys My mom keeps complaining about having to dry it in the sun all the time
Now we’ll pour it in
You see There's
not a single impurity
in that ladder Now pour it all in
The filter material layer will occupy approximately three-quarters of the pineapple drum's volume
That concludes the basic filter setup
Then the water will be directed down into the well
In short we pour the conut husk then
lay down a layer of mesh
and finally spread a layer of crushed stone grade 2 on top
The material layers had already filled about three-quarters of the pineapple crate
Finally place another mesh layer on top and push the lid
back into place This mesh will help retain the leaves
A half-full trash bag falls down from above
We can easily take it out to clean up
To prevent debris from outside from falling in
We'll use the lid of the barrel itself to push it back
Pushing the cover glass back ensures that debris from outside
cannot enter Similarly if you push the well opening glass
The well will also remain uncontaminated
So we've now completed this task thoroughly
If you ever notice dirt accumulating inside just
lift up this mesh screen and clear away the debris
Once done replace the net and push the lid back into place
By following this method we can make use of crushed stone and burn conut husk ladders made at home
o establish a very good water filtration system
If you ask a trusted plumber friend to help with it
The system will be installed with great
precision Trying to sew it together manually would make
perfection nearly impossible Here there is a connector
Water will flow straight down through this pipe into the well
Water will pass through here
Previously we lowered a suction pump into the well to draw water up into the tank
Thus we can pump well water directly into
the storage tank or use it right at the well
Water shortages in this region are extremely severe
Therefore utilizing groundwater or rainwater is the best solution
We'll always have cold water available whenever we need it
My water tank is made of stainless steel so the water is always cool
No need to worry about any issues
Lately I've been talking about replenishing groundwater supplies
Another crucial factor is installing roof gutters
This requires special attention
Buy a high-quality snake trough
This isn't something you can easily replace frequently
When building a roof be sure to choose high-quality materials
Currently I'm using Agusta's gutter system
I think it's really high quality Actually
my construction contractor recommended it to me
I followed his advice and only then realized how effective it truly was
If installed properly the guide rail
You won't have to worry about replacing it after 2 or 3 years of use
This type of gutter has a very attractive design suitable for any home
Everyone who comes over notices it so I wanted
to share this with you
By applying these measures
we can efficiently harvest rainwater
saving every drop and storing it in wells
or underwater if you prefer
Right now I'm pumping water into the well
It's starting to rain
Look water is pouring down
over there A lot of water is flowing into the filter barrel
Water is also rushing down heavily on this side as well
The water flowing into the well looks truly beautiful
It fills up rapidly
So we'll have an abundant water supply
Looking at the water flowing down there
even the tiniest bit of debris gets carried right into it
I was just about to secure this mesh net to the end of the drainpipe
Otherwise if the water flows
too strongly the mesh
could be washed away so I'll secure it tightly to the pipe
As for this part we're all set just by closing the lid
I only opened it briefly for you to see
It's very secure when closed—no debris can
get in Just open it
up whenever you need to
The initial volume of dirty water will flow out through this channel
See how it
is The first-season water flows like this
Once it's done we close it off again
That's it—just pay attention to a few small details
s allows us to
efficiently refill our
own well Combined with this filter
The water flowing into the well will be very turbid
as dust or debris from the roof above will be trapped
The system operates very cleanly and efficiently We
only need a plumber to handle the pipe installation
Doing it this way is also very cost-effective
All you need is a single bucket and a little crushed ice
And a conut shell torch at home is more than enough
We can easily do these things ourselves at home
Moreover I had a colored frame cover made for the well
If an additional layer of mesh is added on top of that cover
We can confidently use well water perfectly
Today I’ve also filmed the water flowing into the system for you to see
That’s it for today’s video
I've already shared all the information about this system If you
have any questions or notice anything questionable about the system
Leave a comment please
It will help other viewers
That's all the video content
