Have you ever wondered which are the world's most expensive suits and how much they sell for?
In this video, we show you the 10 most expensive suits in the world and some fashion tips at the
end of the video. Watch the video up to the end to find out the most expensive suits in the world
and their price tags. Are you excited to see the suits with the shocking prices?
Do tell us if you think they're worth the price or not.
Luxury fashion and beauty are usually associated with women, but in a world of luxurious fabrics
and tailoring, some of the most expensive men's suits are still ridiculously extravagant in terms
of price and quality. For most of us, the thought of paying $1,000 for a nice suit turns our heads.
Of course, when you factor in the cost of the world's finest luxury suits,
made from the rarest fabrics, hand-tailored, and sewn by the world's most famous designers,
it's only a penny. Inevitably, most of these suits are reserved for the upper classes.
This is the essence and allure of exclusivity in the 10 most expensive men's suits in the world.
Number 10. Irmenegildo Zegna Bespoke $22,000
Over the years, Italian designers and fashion houses have created some of the most luxurious
creations in menswear. The Italians are known for their precision tailoring and use of the
finest fabrics. Irmenegildo Zegna is one of Italy's leading fashion houses.
Over 100 years old, he began his career in 1910 in Tribello, Italy. Zegna makes suits for brands
such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Tom Ford, making him one of the world's largest producers
of luxury fabrics. Lightweight, luxurious, and sophisticated, this $22,000 suit was designed by
the fourth generation of the Zegna family. It is made to order and is reportedly made from over
700 different fabrics. The use of different fabrics is not just an easy task. Wearing
and styling are important, but so are the designs and styles.
Number 9. World Wood Record Challenge Cup Suits $28,000
You may be wondering what the World Timber Record Challenge is. This is a competition
sponsored by the Loro Piana cashmere manufacturer now owned by the brothers Luigi and Sergio Loro
Piana. Each year, they invite up-and-coming designers to create and tailor the best suits
for men. The best designer will be voted on, and 50 suits will be precision cut to the design
and sold under the Loro Piana brand. The 2012 winner was a woman named Susanna Triplett from
New South Wales, Australia. She produced wool that was only 11.1 microns in diameter. The thinner
the wool, the finer the fabric and drape. And suits made to her designs cost $28,000 each.
Number 8. Brioni Vanquish II $43,000
In 2008, when the economy was in the doldrums, Italian luxury clothing store Brioni
decided to reverse the psychology of its customers by unveiling its most expensive
line of suits ever. It's a suit that uses the ultra-luxury fabric Vanquish II from Domio
in the UK. Vanquish II uses a blend of the world's rarest fibers, including kiwiak,
pashmina, and vicuna. They only make 100 of these handmade suits a year,
and the stitching on the suits is white gold. Nazareno Fonticoli and Gaetano Savini bought
Brioni in 1945, just after World War II. Brioni suits are a favorite of mogul Donald Trump,
but most recently, since 1995, he's best known for wearing them with James Bond.
Number 7. Desmond Marion Supreme Bespoke $47,500
Desmond Marion is one of the most famous tailors on London's legendary Seville Row.
These fine, hand-tailored suits cost about $50,000. As Marion himself said,
I hand-sew every seam on your suit. No machine ever touches the garment. This handwork is the
absolute pinnacle of tailoring. Your suit takes so much time that it can't be measured in man-hours.
It takes months to create a perfectly tailored suit. The finished suit looks like it was molded
around the torso rather than handmade. And energy is expended, so it's no wonder Supreme Bespoke
is so expensive. A masterpiece of elegance and lavishness comes with effort, time, and work.
Number 6. Chiton K-50 $60,000
Founded in 1968, Chiton is now Italy's leading designer brand of men's suits.
He employs 330 tailors, who receive approximately 22,000 suit orders each year. It takes up to 25
hours to sew each suit, and 45 tailors make each of his suits. The K-50 suit was designed
by the world-renowned Seville and his master tailor Enzo Dorsi. The suit is made from merino
wool. The name K-50 has a double meaning. It takes him 50 hours to complete each suit,
and he only works 50 hours a year. The suits took most of his time to complete,
and it is up to his worth. Number 5.
William Westmincott Ultimate Bespoke $75,000
William Westmincott was Desmond Marion's neighbor on Seville Row. But what makes his
Ultimate Bespoke $28,500 more than his Marion's Supreme Bespoke? Well, this Westmincott suit is
a three-piece instead of a two-piece, or he's a four-piece. When William Westmincott produced
this particular suit for a Russian tycoon, he was only 28 years old at the time. Due to the high
cost of the fabric, Westmincott began by creating a test garment to ensure that the pattern would
work properly. Westmincott's experts said it took him 200 hours to tailor and design this
ultra-light and expensive suit. Number 4.
Zoot Suit $78,000
This terrifying World War II-era striped zoot suit sold for $78,000 at the Augusta Auction
in New York City in 2011. Augusta Auctions is a secondhand clothing company owned by Karen Augusta,
who originally bought this suit for $600 to $900. When the calls started coming in from museums
around the country, she admitted that she thought she could sell the suit for up to $5,000, maybe
more. But that such a high price from eager bidders would make her more expensive. I never imagined
this price would be achieved. This is the only suit to be auctioned in the U.S. and is in high
demand. It was discovered at a New Jersey real estate sale. Number 3.
Dormiel Vanquish II $95,319
With bespoke services, Dormiel creates the look and essence of luxury with garments that reflect
and express your individuality. The House of Dormiel offers garments of exceptional style
and perfect cut, designed using the finest fabrics, and made to order according to the finest
traditions. The Dormiel family business was founded in 1842, over 170 years ago. The Vanquish
II fabrics are the brainchild of Patriarch Jules Dormiel, who blended the finest British and French
fabrics to design his suits for the ultimate in luxury tailoring. They are said to have served
royalty, presidents, and celebrities for years. This particularly expensive suit is made from
six of the world's rarest fabrics, Royal Kivik, Ambassador, and Daw Silk, Cargsy White 15.8.
2. Alexander Amosu Vanquish II Bespoke $101,860
More than just a menswear specialist, Alexander Amos is a luxury entrepreneur,
but he sold this exquisite suit for over $100,000. He made his fortune by making hip-hop ringtones
and making mobile phones encrusted with gold and diamonds. In 2009, he founded his own clothing
company. It was made from the two most expensive types of wool in the world, the rare Vicuna and
Kivik. It was custom-made for an anonymous buyer. It is also reported to have been delivered in an
armored vehicle. Each suit comes with nine buttons in 18-carat gold and diamonds.
1. Stuart Hughes Diamond Edition $892,500
The price tag for the world's most expensive suit is a ridiculous $1 million. The price is
understandable when you see what is included in the suit. Renowned luxury designer Stuart Hughes
collaborated with world-renowned tailor Richard His Jewels to create this extravagant work of art.
One of only three he has in the world, these suits took him over 800 hours to design
and sew and are made of wool, cashmere, and silk. What makes this stunning pant and jacket combo
skyrocket in price? The world diamond itself keeps all the lavishness in it, but when it
comes with the suit, it gets more exciting. Diamonds
Over 480 half-carat diamonds are etched into the outer lining of these jackets,
making them the most expensive, if not strange-looking, suits in the world.
The sophisticated suit and tuxedo have almost always been the pinnacle of men's fashion,
conferring status and the accompanying charisma, masculinity, and absolute confidence in the
wearer. What do you think about how suits affect the status and spark of a person's personality?
