Hey guys, it's Jason here. Welcome back to the channel. Welcome to another video.
We just got finished running the X-Monster, guys. It was freaking awesome. Besides from issues with
the VXL-8S cutting out multiple times, the truck itself was awesome. Still in one piece. We were
climbing the banks. We were jumping. I probably already released that video, so I'll throw a link
in the description. But I also brought out my X-Maxx Ultimate Big Green and I swapped on the
X-Monster truck tires. So I'm kind of anxious, guys, to see how this behaves. This does have the
M2C wheel wideners, so it's about... I can't remember the actual measurement, guys, but it's
half the width of a WideMaxx kit and that's why I went with it. I didn't want the WideMaxx kit.
I just wanted something that was a little bit wider. Maxx 5, 1100 kV. I don't remember the
mod 1.5 gearing, but I don't like it. That's going to be changing. Lots of other goodies on the truck,
guys. But either way, we're going to be running the green body, the actual X-Maxx body, because
I've been kind of excited ever since I did the tires on this in the second video of the X-Maxx,
or the XMT. I've been kind of anxious to get this thing out and run it because that looks
wicked. Either way, guys, we're going to have some fun. Now this truck, guys, is running the iXSR
and a bunch of other changes. It'll be interesting, guys, to see driving these
two trucks now back to back what this is like being much heavier and should have a lot more
power. Yeah, you definitely, guys, can feel the power. When I was out here with the XMT,
obviously, guys, there's tons of snow, so traction is not great, but it was still not wheelie
where this thing is wheeling even with the snow. So we've got the wheel spin.
We got the power. Yeah, she feels a lot faster. Now, usually, guys, the last time I think I was
out with it, I think my temperatures were fine. Obviously, now we're out in the winter,
so they should be a lot better. Oh, look at that green now in the sun. Oh, yeah, she looks good.
Oh, these tires, guys, man, oh, man, I love it. It's funny. I was and it's not like I have not,
guys, beat this truck, but I'm definitely taking this thing like I'm a little easier on it right
now. She looks so good. These tires definitely want to get us out of the chrome ones. When I
was out here with the XMT, I stood here for probably like 10 minutes. Hopefully, I remember
to move in this video. Oh, guys, I love these freaking tires. I know that's all I seem to talk
about now in any of my X-Maxx videos, but they just they change the truck for the better. All
right, we're going to head to the jump for a bit. Not doing anything crazy, guys. With the XMT,
I was making it pretty close to the hill. That was about it. Didn't do any backflips or anything
like that. You don't have the acceleration you want right at the ramp to kind of kick it up.
I'm not even trying for that. Oh, man, that looks super freaking good. The green body,
green arms. You can see some of the blue anodizing, but those monster truck tires. Yeah.
All right, we're going to start off small and we'll get a little we'll get a little bigger.
A little bit of a ramp shaver there. I guess I'm noticing that little bit of width
coming up to the ramp. Oh, geez. Yeah, guys. Oh, the difference. You know, it's kind of funny.
This is where I'm noticing the difference now, even just coming up to the ramp with the stock
X-Maxx. And don't get me wrong, guys, it's still wicked. But just yeah, you definitely notice that
increase in performance because it sure kicks the truck. It gave it a lot more height with the same
kind of speed or at least the same kind of throttle trigger feel is I think what I'm going
for. You know, it's funny, guys. I often say in videos that the X-Maxx is not in my top five.
I'm going to say this now, though. I'm starting to think X-Maxx is number one when it comes to
winter fun. All right, we're going to ramp back a little bit. This is fun. Yeah.
What an unstoppable beast. Usually, you know, when you go ripping guys through banks,
you'll either get caught up in like a little rut or something will knock you
like off and make you flip. This thing is just mashing through it.
All right, let's do this again. I don't know why I'm going so far.
Oh, no. Oh, no. We're still fine, though. Oh, I guess the ramp's a little off.
It's a little on a little angle. Oh, this is fun. This is a lot of fun.
X-Maxx with these tires equals wicked winter fun. Oh, geez. Where am I going?
Actually, that's. Oh, no, we're right there. We're good. Yeah, I didn't think we were going
to drive out of that. Come on. There we go. I think there's anything, guys, besides a big
open parking lot up here. Yeah. See, that's what I'm talking about, guys, man. That have been stock
tires. No way. That's hard on everything when it comes, guys, to the electronics and stuff.
I get it. But that was still fun. What I'm going to do, though, guys, because I'm trying to remember
I've got that mod 1.5 gearing in this thing. And initially, guys, when I bought the gearing,
I was buying it for the 800 KV. So I've got I can't remember the spur right now,
but I have been coming down on the pinion. I think I'm on my third third kind of decrease.
I don't even remember now what I have, but I just want to make sure everything's still good
after one more jump. Oh, beast. Yeah. All right, guys, as you'd expect,
zero issues. Motor's fine. ESC's fine. Motor barely even had any heat. And I can even guys
feel that sun right now. Beautiful. What a perfect day to come up with this thing.
And actually, I still have, guys, the Mini XRT to run the first run with it. All right, guys,
I don't know what happened there. We lost some throttle. It kind of cut out when I was coming
down. So we might. I don't know what that was. Oh, maybe maybe it was LVC, actually,
because that's what it feels like right now. We just it kind of feels fine. It's just had
a lot less power. So, you know, we're going to do we're going to call it quits.
Yeah, it's probably a good idea.
