If you really want to know what I'm wearing in the van,
it's a pair of Bucky's sweatpants
that are the softest things I have ever owned.
I love Gothic stuff and things that I can wear.
I don't know where half these pieces came from.
I'm confused.
Hi, I'm Izzy and I play guitar in Chokecherry.
And these are my clothes.
So we just released our debut album.
It's called Ripe Fruit Rots and Falls
and it's a 10-songer.
And we had three producers, our friend Christopher Grant,
Chris Cody, and Zach Tush.
And it was really fun to make.
And now it's out in the world
and we're playing it live for the first time.
And a lot of the themes in Ripe Fruit Rots and Falls,
it's like girlhood and feminine rage.
So I feel like we try to exemplify that
in our stage style as well.
I actually wore this dress that I'm wearing right now
in the album photo shoot,
which was shot by Whitney, who's over there.
She's perfect.
Hi.
She's doing photos and she's awesome.
She can do it all.
And so this piece was made by Liv,
handmade by Liv,
or by Liv Handmade on Instagram.
And she creates one-of-a-kind pieces and she's incredible.
She's based in New York.
So I bought this,
I bought this from her at our Warsaw show
opening for Waves this summer.
And yeah, I could show you the rest of my clothes too.
So this one I just got,
this is just a fun little button-up that's inside out.
My bad.
But we got this in a pile of clothes at our Dallas show.
And sometimes I like dressing mask
and I didn't really bring,
I only brought one pair of pants
and like a bunch of tiny little dresses on this tour.
So we had to go to Ross and get some winter clothes.
So I wear these jeans almost every day.
There's a little bit of water damage
because we've been in the snow.
My boots are also really cooked,
but I got these at the Silver Lake Flea
and they don't have a tag,
so they might be custom, but I don't know.
Tons of pockets, tons of little loops.
I actually accidentally wear these
almost every time I go through TSA
and it flags every time because of all the metal.
So I get a really embarrassing pat down when I wear these.
So that's about it, but really cool pants.
And these, this,
I don't really remember where I got this one actually,
but I've layered this with other stuff.
I think it's just like a cheap piece,
but a lot of my stuff is inside out because I'm a mess,
but I also don't really remember where I got this.
The brand is Current Mood, so.
I like wearing this one,
although I think I like to layer it
and it's definitely a staple.
This guy, I'm not gonna lie to you,
I don't know where half these pieces came from.
I'm confused, but this appeared in my closet one day
and I wore this for the Secrets music video.
Oh, my sister gave me this one.
Oh my God, it's attached to a bunch of other stuff.
Oh my God, all these loops.
Loops and hooks.
But yeah, corset, run of the mill.
Oh, this one's fun actually.
I actually made this one.
This was the first corset I ever sewed
and it took me like, actually,
there's some, definitely some mistakes,
like I don't know what's going on there,
but I sewed this with my grandma earlier this year
when she was ill, so she loved to sew
and she sewed my mom's first wedding dress
and she was a badass lady
and this is actually really special to me
because we got to spend a lot of time together
and I would, it definitely is a little cooked,
like this is very amateur, but it reminds me of her,
so shout out Dodie.
Oh, here we go.
This corset is from Wasteland
and I got this when our friend Tessa Ray styled us
for, I believe it was the Goldmine music video.
Oh no, it was the, our friend Tessa styled us
for our Roxy show in LA.
I picked up this piece and I wear it all the time.
This is one of my going out shirts as well,
so I'll wear this to shows.
I actually definitely busted open
one of these things in the pit,
so I need to get that fixed,
but what else do I got in the pile?
We know her.
I have this little guy.
It's like a fun long sleeve situation.
I love gothic stuff and things that I can layer,
so I'll layer this with the corset.
I love wearing this with my baggy pants
to kind of, I love the juxtaposition
of masculine and feminine in my style.
I think if I go too hyper femme,
I can start feeling a little weird,
so I really like having both elements.
Oh, dude, I got this from Goodwill,
but I wore this for the Major Threat music video.
This is the satin dress.
Yeah, I think this was like $5.
A lot of my stuff is thrifted.
Oh, I love this one.
This is a friend Riley and Jake's band, Blouse.
They're sick.
They're from Sacramento,
and this is actually one-of-a-kind merch,
and this actually really inspired a merch line
that we just put out,
which is in collaboration with our friend Meridian
at Sleepy Baby Bed on Instagram,
and they have screen-printed all these custom slips for us,
which has been really cool.
Yes, these are my boots,
so they definitely need,
they've been through the ringer.
I wear these all the time,
so they're pretty cooked,
but these are also going-out boots.
These are from Jeffrey Campbell,
and they very graciously gave us some samples,
so these boots came with that haul.
So a lot of my going-out stuff and stage stuff do overlap.
This, you know, stuff like this I would wear every day.
This is a thrifted corset.
I really like her, I just got her,
but yeah, a lot of my stuff,
unless it's like super, you know,
a piece like this that's definitely an occasion piece,
a lot of this is very interchangeable.
Yeah, this skirt, a lot of my,
I just get a lot of my clothes from my friends,
which is nice, keeping the family, you know,
but this skirt I got from my friend Emma
at her garage sale,
and she was actually my very first bandmate,
and we were in a band called The Girls,
and that was fun, we were in high school.
And this is my belt and necklace amalgamation.
I don't know how these earrings got on here,
but I think it's cool.
So I got these earrings from,
actually from a fan in Austin last year
at an official South by,
and then this chain thing I got on a family vacation,
and it's falling apart, this thing's so cheap,
but it's just fun to have little pieces to accent
if you wanna do ---- like that,
but a lot of my stuff is, yeah,
interchangeable with stage versus day-to-day.
If you really wanna know what I'm wearing in the van,
it's a pair of Bucky's sweatpants
that are the softest things I have ever owned.
And also, yeah, a lot of ---- from Ross.
Ross is great, I love Ross.
I did try to go and buy winter clothes,
and I just ended up with a bunch of skincare,
so then I had to go back,
but I got a fun jacket there.
So these are my rings.
I wear them almost every day.
These are very special to me,
because they were made,
these two were made by my friend Quinn McKinney,
and she is an incredible silversmith,
and she started smithing during COVID,
and just immediately was really good,
so a lot of my favorite rings are made by her,
and I love her.
Hi, Quinn.
And everything else, actually, I got,
I just got this one.
Dude, where did I get this?
I got this in Baltimore just a few days ago.
This bad boy, I wanna say I got it at a shop in Croatia.
I think these are all from Croatia.
Yeah, and you can't forget the wristband.
This is what ties it all together,
the Cobra Lounge wristband.
But yeah, thank you for coming to my closet,
and I'll see you soon.
Bye.
