OUR HONEYMOON: Part 1 (1 year later, Tokyo Disney, 16 hour Travel Day)

Last year, after finally beating long distance, getting married and closing the gap, Luke and I were so excited to celebrate our union on our fully planned honeymoon. Because we were still in the middle of the whole immigration process, leaving the country just wasn't an option. We had to cancel the entire trip. But one year later, we're getting our second chance. And this time, we're doing it huge. We're doing it big. From the neon lights of Tokyo to the temples of Kyoto and the beaches of Bali. This is the honeymoon we've been waiting years for. Hello, hello, hello. And welcome back to our YouTube channel. And you know what? Welcome to our honeymoon part one. Yes, guys. We're officially in Tokyo and we're on our honeymoon. And today, we're going to Disney. I'm so excited. It's our first day in Tokyo. And basically, our vibe... Oh, guys. I'm excited. I'm super excited. We're going to Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland. We got Park Hopper tickets. So, we're going to go get ready. They say get there super early. So, that's what we're doing. First things first, look at the weather. Flip the camera. It's looking a little bit muggy outside. And you know what that means? A little bit cold. A little bit chilly. So, we're going to go grab a hot matcha. A hot matcha. We need an umbrella or two. And maybe even a jacket before we get there. And everything might be closed. So, we don't know. Let's go, guys. Let's go. Alrighty, guys. It's time to head out. This is my outfit. She's got these honeymoon Vera Wang wedding ears. That Lou got me for my wedding as a gift. She's bringing a veil as well in the bag. But we're probably going to put that on when we get to the bar. Alright. So, I'm wearing all black today apart from the shirt. Got the old Disney jumper. I got like an inside out looking kind of T-shirt on which is pretty cool. Got the old baggy pure black denim Alexander McQueen's. Okay. I have this top from Daniel Guzio. This skirt is from Supergirl. I have fleece-lined leggings on, guys. I'm not just raw dogging in the cold. And I have to ruin my outfit, unfortunately, with this jacket. It's not ruined, darling. Don't worry. It's just like aged. But I'm really happy to wear these ears. Because Lou got me these ears for the wedding. And I've only worn them one time because they're so bridal. And there's actually like a huge veil. So, I'll put it on. Maybe at the park. But I never get to wear them. Okay. So, we're on our way to find umbrellas. Because it's kind of raining, guys. It's pretty chilly. We need to find a hot drink, hot beverage. And, yeah. Guys, the egg sandwich. Let's go. Guys, these egg sandwiches are very buttery. It's almost like a peanut butter without the peanut taste. And we're in a mad rush. We're in a mad rush. Cool. Look at that line. We've arrived. I've never been to DisneySea before. So, I'm excited to see what's here. I mean, it looks like Europe. I don't know. This is insane. This park reminds me of Universal. This looks like... Yeah, this does not look like any Disney we've ever been to before. Period. It looks like a... It looks like... Universal, I mean. Yeah, this is nuts, guys. I don't know. Alrighty, guys. So, how this park works is they have FastPass. It's kind of like the other ones. But you were supposed to get here early so you can hop on the ride. So, our first ride is going to be that giant volcano. And then I also made us some lunch and a dinner reservation already. So, then we have some plans. Just so you guys know, there's tons of videos online that teach you how to do this park right so you actually get on rides. So, I watched some of those. No tea, no shade. You did your homework, though. Yes, I did. I'm about... I feel like it's not covering my ears. I don't know. What do I look like? I don't think this is the world I'm going to forget about. They're very nice. They have a different group of characters that I've never heard of that are called Duffies. Duffies? I don't know who they are. We're going to start off strong with some Japanese Disney popcorn. Soy sauce and butter. No, butter popcorn with soy sauce on it. Zero out of ten from me. Honestly, that ride gets probably a nine out of ten from me. That was scary. She got so scared. She started screaming and stuff. No, the drop. It was a wet drop. That was scary. Listen, guys. Nine out of ten from me. That's up there. It was a good in-between. One of the best rides I've been on, to be honest with you. It was a good in-between of a thriller and a slow ride. It was a good in-between. It started off slow and then it got quick. Yeah, out of nowhere. If you guys know, you know American turkey legs are massive. So the fact that this one's small... It's steaming. All right, cool. I'm going to unwrap it. It's very squidgy. And the taste inside is very savory. Spring onions. I like it. I'm going to give this seven out of ten. I think the pastry is very sweet. It's squidgy. See? Super yummy. It tastes like a soup. I don't want to eat his face. That's mean. Show us the inside. It's chocolate. Try it. Why do you bite it so aggressively? Different flavor. Shut up. Yes, babe. That's cool. Why would you order a kid's meal? Because I'm not hungry. I'm full. I'm ready for the other food. Yummy. Are these shaved grapes? I believe so. Okay, guys. We're going to the Tower of Terror right now. I'm so excited. On a full stomach of food. I'm a little nervous because we just ate and I got some wine. And Tower of Terror is the most intense ride of all of Disney, pretty much. Because there's literally an elevator that just goes up and down. Literally. This looks even taller as well. Yeah, this one looks insane. And they said it has a different story, so I'm excited to see the vibes. But it's over there. Can you see it? Oh, yeah. You can see it. It's kind of that big building in the corner. So, let's go. Are you ready? I think so. Side note, it's freezing, guys. I think it's actually a little warmer than it was before. Luke showed me the weather and it said that it was snowing. That's how cold it is right now. We have two more rides at this park and then we're going to switch parks to Disneyland Park. And we're going to finish our night over there. On our way over, I want to give you guys a little cultural update of kind of how it's been and things I've noticed. First of all, the popcorn in this park specifically, we got that popcorn that was soy popcorn. I don't know if you guys remember that. But basically, we found out that these parks just have weird popcorn flavors. So, we just passed Garlic Shrimp. They had black pepper. I'm absolutely not trying Garlic Shrimp. Luke's upset because he loves the popcorn at Disney parks and this one has not been slapping. But another thing, I thought the girls were going to school for real. Like, I thought there was a school trip or something. I think they just like to match in matching schoolgirl sets just because it's cute. And you know what? No hate because it is really cute. Looking over here, this is the Tower of Terror. It's looking pretty spooky. Last little cultural update, guys. Basically, we are definitely the only black people in this park. No surprise there. Literally the only ones. But I will say, everybody has been so respectful about it. Like, I think they're looking like middle of the stairs, like quick stairs. And they'll look away really fast because they're just trying to be respectful and I really like that. I am okay with that. But I do wish I knew what they thought. You know what? Since we've landed, I don't think we've seen any other black people actually. No. Two days in, I haven't seen one black person. One. It's crazy. Are you scared? No, are you scared? I'm not scared. I'm like, I don't know what to call it. It's not scared, it's like nervous. You're nervous? Yeah. Not nervous. Just like, you know, you just got to have adrenaline. Have adrenaline. That's what you say. The other ones were worse. The other ones were worse. For sure. Okay guys, we're rushing to our next ride. But that ride was so much more chill than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be really scary, but it wasn't. So I'm happy. Guys, I got my first compliment. On the outfit. Show them, darling. I think it was my ears because I was getting ready in the bathroom and I wasn't with Luke. And I was just like standing there kind of putting on my headpiece because it was stuck. And then she came up to me like, she was being really sweet. And then she like shuffled up to me and she was like, so cute. I was like, thank you, you too. But I should have said arigato and did a little bow. I was awkward about it, but my heart. What is this place? How have we never seen this before? You got palm trees and everything. Wow, we made it to the tropics, guys. Even though it just finished raining. I know the girls are going to be jealous. Yeah, the white one looks cool. I like the white one. I'm a little biased because it's one of my favorite movies. But that was worth the trip here. That ride only is nowhere else. And it is amazing. The animatronics were fire. That room, I genuinely almost shed a tear. Guys, she was about to cry. That was so sweet and wholesome and cute. It's just beautiful. I loved it. Ten out of ten. I just walked past another popcorn stand. And guys, to be quite frankly honest with you, I've had enough. They said roast beef popcorn. I'm leaving the park. And I'm in line for it. Roast beef, listen. That is jail. I've seen cheese, I've seen caramel, I've seen roast beef. I've seen, what was the other one? Shrimp or something? Shrimp and garlic. Lord have mercy. I saw there was a curry one online. Curry? What's going on? He's so cute. Do you want a hug? Get me in a suit, get me in a suit, get me in a suit. Thank you. We're off to Disneyland. Let's go, let's go, let's go. I'm excited to go to Disneyland. But Disneyland I think is going to be a lot more similar to the parks we've already been to. Because that's how Disneyland parks usually are. But DisneySea is like the special thing. You should have done your dance here, girl. Just going to do a little bit of shopping. But check out this waffle, guys. But what is it? Is it a bag? It's a pillow. Only here in Tokyo, in Japan. I've got them ears now. Listen, when she's wearing her ears, I've got mine. Yes. So cute. Yeah, it's very pretty here. Very pretty. I've been dying to get in this restaurant, guys. It's Tiana's restaurant. Tiana's my favorite princess. And I just want to see the vibes. I want to see the vibes inside. The ambiance. But the food is definitely different in the States than here. I'm positive. Why do you think that is? Because here, all of the restaurants are... This is like the Gumball. All of the restaurants here are three-quarter seating meals. Which is not how it is in the States. Yes. Hey, let's go. Wow, I am gagged right now. This is beautiful, guys. Guys, so she's just gone to the restroom. And I cannot describe to you how beautiful this is. There's like so much that I can't pick up on camera because it's so dark. But it feels like you're in the nighttime in Florida. Without the mosquitoes. This is so beautiful. In the bayou. Even Louisiana, this is gorgeous. You have boats going by. Different rides and stuff. People are actually on these boats as well. Listen, Florida's got it all. Florida's got this vibe. Florida's got a tropical vibe with this vibe. You know what I'm saying? And the beaches. Luke says he could live in the swamp. I could. I was born and raised in the swamp, so I feel like... I like it. I'm used to it. It's the bugs though. The mosquitoes every time. You ever hear this sound? When you hear this sound, it's sweet. When you hear it, it's fake. So if you could live anywhere in the states, would you choose a swamp? I would choose Florida. I'd probably choose, yeah. Somewhere. I'm not even going to bait out all the locations. But yeah, somewhere south. We're heading out. That was amazing. Thank you. Oh, wait. Where's the bill? I need the bill. Was it worth the hype? Was it worth the wait, darling? Yes. 10 out of 10. Guys, 10 from me. Food, bossing. Vibe, bossing. It's been some of my favorite food I've had in Tokyo so far. 100%. So good. And now, the sun's going away, guys. It's about to get really cold, and I'm tired. Jet lag is okay. I think we're going to call it, guys. I think we're going to call it. But I had such a good time, and now I just want to cuddle. I'm going to head back to the hotel. That's going to be so relaxing. That's going to be the main honeymoon part, guys. I cannot wait. This is all our money. This is a small taster. This is the first day of our honeymoon, guys. We love that our honeymoon has different pieces. Because I feel like we didn't want to do something that we've done before. We didn't want to go anywhere we've ever been before. And we also wanted to have just different vibes. Because Tokyo is so busy, so lively. And then Kyoto is more calm. And then Bali is the most tranquil place you can find. Exactly.
