Welcome to Tennessee for an epic hiking adventure and an epic beard. Let's go.
We are Savage Gulf State Park. First stop, we're doing the Stone Door Trail. Let's go.
Here we are just like 0.0001 miles into it and I think we're lost.
Well, the problem is with this trail is that it's not really clear on where to go.
Yeah, there's not a clear pathway.
Apparently Savage Gulf is about an hour away from Fall Creek Falls where we're going to next.
Most stuff is over there and that's also where we're camping at as well, but apparently it's
worth it. First overlook. This hike is basically on the rim of the Cumberland Plateau. Beautiful
overlooks, sandstone cliffs. Say what's up. What's up. Here we are at one of the overlooks at the
Stone Door Hiking Trail. We're not even at the end yet. This is awesome. They got like multiple
different overlooks over here. You can get right up to the edge. It's kind of spooky. It's nice.
I love how you can see a full, wide view of these small valleys. I think another name for
them is gulfs, but it kind of reminds me of Linville Gorge for some reason in North Carolina.
Yeah. Through the hills and valleys, you can see like some of those evergreens. Look at that bird.
Oh, these are all steps? Yeah. Oh man, that's crazy.
Then the hallmark of the trail, the Stone Door. Here we are walking up the sandstone crack slash
door. It has been made over years and years of erosion. So we are near the end of this hike.
It's pretty great. They got all these nice little kind of split offs where you can kind of just
adventure around, kind of do your own thing. That's what I kind of like to do.
We are at Fall Creek Falls. First hike. Well, I guess this is the second one for half of us.
We got John back. What up? We got Trent back. What up? Oh, sorry. No one likes that guy.
We got Spencer back with the beard and we got the Blake back. Yes, sir.
Tony, I've missed you. I miss you. I've missed everyone.
OK, this is a big moment for Tony right now. He's going to cross the bridge.
He's been hesitant, but we believe in him. Very scared of heights.
Welcome to Cane Creek Falls. You know, it's a little hot earlier, but with this nice water
here, it's nice and cool down in the shade. Feels great. Loving it. After a pretty good start,
we've got a beautiful waterfall. We've got this really cool rope bridge.
Literally right next to that trail is another short hike to another waterfall.
This one led to Rockhouse Creek Falls. Pretty sweet waterfall within a small canyon.
No idea. Three pretty cool waterfalls. Yeah. Bang, bang, bang. All right together.
And they're huge. Yeah. Here we are at this suspension bridge that everyone's been talking
about. I mean, the overlook is just immaculate. Either way, 360 panoramic views, waterfalls on
either side. Hold up, hold up. Let me get a shot of the waterfall, please. I mean,
John, would you say that? Yeah, there is a waterfall. The jewel of Tennessee right here.
Yeah. Worth every minute that I drove here for sure. The hikes to get down there from the campsite
were maybe what? Half mile? Yeah. Really short hike. Waterfalls are beautiful.
There's more than I expected. There was three of them. Yeah, I thought we were joking. What'd you
say? He told you only? No, he asked me, he said, is there a bathroom in the visitor's center? I
heard him say that. I didn't know that he went. All right. Who wants to go on the rescue mission
with me? He's trapped at the visitor's center. I mean, I know it's gone. Sorry, Spencer. When
you watch this, just understand that we're just going to hang out at the campsite. We're not,
we're not going after you. Spencer, I rescued you. Just remember it was me who came to rescue you.
It's all good. I asked the lady if I could pet her dog and it turned into a 10 minute conversation.
Now we're headed to Fall Creek Falls. We're going to check that out. Supposedly,
that's the best waterfall at the state park. Whoa, that's a crazy waterfall.
Now we're hiking base of falls trail. And you know what that means? We're going to go to the base
of the falls. And that is one beautiful waterfall, my guess. It's huge. It's going to be mega
beautiful when we get down there. We are going down the strenuous hike. It's only 24 miles,
but very strenuous. We'll see. Yeah. If anybody read the sign up there, it did say it was going
to get nice and cold down at the base of the waterfall. And so far, that is true. So they
said up top that this was a very strenuous hike. This whole time I've been like, it's not too bad.
And then I remembered we've got to go up and there's a lot of steps.
Stairmaster on the way up. A good workout in. Here we are at the bottom of Fall Creek Falls.
An incredible waterfall. I love free falling waterfalls just like this.
But the fact that you're able to be this close up to it, it's kind of otherworldly. So this is
the beginning of our climb up. We'll see how we do. Yeah. And going up is harder.
It definitely is. But, you know, it's worth it. Probably one of the better campsites we got
because it's kind of more secluded. There's not other campsites that are right by us. So we are
not going to be bothering other people. So we can kind of be a little louder, which is nice.
Putting this rain fly on, even though it's not going to rain.
It's been a great day so far.
You certainly got the same tent, didn't you? Well, I got it first.
Hikes are great. Campsite's even better. For real, dude. Yeah, we could.
We killed that deer though, right? Sure did. Bare hands.
This looks like some good burgers. Yeah, it does. Another incredible build the dream.
Trip, hiking, mostly free, camping way cheaper than usual. Right, Trent? Right. Camping 20, 30,
40 bucks a night as opposed to going to a hotel. And it's more adventurous and it's more fun. But
if you want to see another really cool camping trip, see that video here. This trip is amazing.
We kayaked Tennessee and it was awesome. Thank you guys so much for watching.
