Today, we're going to make something simple, easy,
be sure's way.
We're going to be making fried potatoes and onions.
So stay tuned, and let's do this.
Okay, we're going to be starting off
with two giant russet potatoes.
We've got a sweet onion,
and we've got a red bell pepper
that's going to go in here with seasonings and herbs.
Okay, so first of all, we're going to peel this potato.
Okay, I'm going to show you
how pretty much I want to cut the potatoes
because these russet potatoes,
if you don't cut them thick
and you're trying to do something with them,
they tend to break.
So if they're breaking, they'll be big chunks.
So it won't look as, you know,
like big crumbles, you know, of potatoes.
All right.
Okay, I got my potatoes.
I got them rinsed, and now they're draining.
And I'm going to take some fresh garlic.
If you don't have fresh garlic,
you got chopped garlic or garlic paste.
That will work.
And I'm going to chop this up fine.
I got a piece of red bell pepper,
and I got enough just to make a little color
and a little flavor.
So just tear you off a piece of your red bell pepper.
So you're going to need red bell pepper and onions with this.
This is a country style that I put.
I'm just going to, see, I kind of like julienne them.
Now I'm just going to run my knife
over the juliennes that I did,
making them into nice squares.
We're going to throw that in there
and give it a little flavor.
Okay, these are my potatoes that I cut.
I'm going to add a little bit of onion powder.
And my favorite seasoning is be sure to season,
season, blend.
I'm going to use a little bit of my favorite seasoning.
I created this seasoning to bring out flavors
of all you all's food.
Any food that you can think of, this will go.
And I just sprinkle a little bit.
It is so delicious and so power.
And I just sprinkle this all over.
It's going to bring, I mean, I'm sorry.
It's going to bring out the wonderful smell
and the food is phenomenal.
So you can also get this on Amazon
or be sure to cook.com.
You can get it on anyone.
Okay, I got a big, large pot.
I've got some olive oil here.
Since I've got so many potatoes,
I'm going to use more than a couple of teaspoons of olive oil.
So I'm going to use about maybe a one fourth cup.
I'm going to add a little garlic just at the bottom,
just to start giving some fragrance of the oil.
We don't want to burn these.
So we'll just start dumping our potatoes right in
and that'll keep that from burning.
Okay, as these are frying,
I'm going to add some black pepper.
I'm going with the second stage of black pepper
because it gives you a little chunks.
Okay, I got my yellow onion.
I got my potatoes starting to cook and that is good.
Give me enough time to do my onion.
I'm going to cut rounds and I only cut rounds.
And what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut these
in four quarters and then there you go.
Everybody can have some onion with their potatoes is so good.
I'm going to come back over here
and I'm going to flop my potatoes around.
All right, now it's time to start sprinkling in
those red bell peppers that I chopped up.
Sweet red onions.
I mean, well, you can use red onions, but these are sweet.
They call it sweet onion.
So this is a sweet white onion.
Okay, then I'm going to take that
be sure to cook seasoning,
be sure to seasoning blend
and I'm just going to sprinkle,
lightly sprinkle over the top to get those onions
and everything that I put in there a good, good taste.
I'm going to take this now
and I'm just going to let you start putting this
and stirring this all together.
One thing about potatoes,
that's one thing that I would use kosher salt.
Add you some kosher salt to your potatoes
and I just stir that around a little bit.
