Have fun, boys.
Why are they still standing?
Let them entertain us already.
Perhaps they would,
if they were not half-dead.
You'll like this one.
Oh?
Does he roar on command?
Or is that something you trained into him?
Let the games begin!
Turn it! Fast!
It's not catching! Force it!
Force it!
It's Talos!
Forge in flame!
Forge in iron!
Spare me! I kneel before your strength!
Do not take me!
That panic,
that's real.
I could watch this all day.
Oh, I know.
You've always had a remarkable patience for watching.
It must be comforting
to never be the one bleeding.
But you do it beautifully.
He's solid.
No one is. That won't stop him.
I know.
Well, that wasn't supposed to happen.
You do have a gift
for choosing men who surprise you.
There's something irresistible
about a man who refuses to kneel.
I do hope bravery doesn't
unwhettle the throne.
You wanted a beast! You starved me!
You chained me!
You fed me to your monsters and now you look surprised?
I am not your champion.
Look at me!
This
is what you made!
This was just an appetizer.
Bring
the main course!
You're going to watch him get eaten alive.
We just wrapped one of the arena sequences
for The King's Beast.
Every chapter raises the stakes.
