Good morning, I'm so relaxed. Chilly is very relaxed too. We had a wonderful night there was no one here
at the lake it was just so peaceful and beautiful but now we have to move on tomorrow I'm crossing
to Honduras so tonight is our last night in El Salvador so we'll make it special again
we'll be camping at the lake again just a different one so we're not going too far
I think we only have to do 70 kilometers Chilly so it will be an easy ride well according to Google
it's going to take us two hours so I'm not sure it's going to be probably very curvy and that
sort of stuff but yeah let's do it. Chilly say goodbye to the beautiful place so long beautiful
place we're good to go. I'm like something is missing a backpack lucky I just left it on the
I feel naked without this backpack okay okay okay okay okay Chilly I'm ready here we go
all right our time hola gracias a lot of work still on Saturday on this road
in 200 meters turn left toward Carretera Panorama. 200 meters oh oh oh that's gonna be this bloody
high hill now and sharp left yeah let's hope there's no traffic at the top. Take the next left
toward Carretera Panoramica then turn left onto Carretera Panoramica. I'm gonna go right
first I'm gonna go right and then it's just too sharp yeah I'm not supposed to go that way
that's okay I'm gonna go here because Chilly is so over it and she's not a very good at
she's got a quite large radius span I don't know how to say it all right this is the way we roll
where are we going we're going left oh lucky no traffic
we're nearly there just have some roadworks in the way and it's so hot
I think this is the last major city before our lake oh they have Centro Historico must be an
important little town yeah that looks old and colorful oh this is lovely isn't it
ah that's a lovely little town I love it I'm like should we stay here for the night no no
now we're gonna go to the lake and camp this will be long ah this is too cute okay I'm gonna
go around the church now the church is renovated nice nice hmm I just realized I just saw it
just saw a sign that there are some waterfalls close by so let's check the waterfalls first
like you know me and waterfalls I never say no to waterfalls oh is there only like three
kilometers away so let's do that first or maybe we'll be able to camp there
today is full of surprises again okay I've just checked Ioverlander and apparently
we will be able to camp at the waterfalls there is a camping option I'm not sure what to expect but
we don't need much so let's go there we started our journey in El Salvador with
waterfalls and we're gonna end it with waterfalls I like that idea I think
oh la la the view chilling wow okay let's see what our camping options are here I think this
is like it's stunning hey I had to do a little walk to inspect this the place so
it's wonderful but today Chillie and I will be a little bit separated because I show you
our camping here right there in that little spot there but that road doesn't go in into that spot
so Chillie will stay here Chillie you'll be okay for a night I'll be I will see you
from a corner of my eye I promise so cascadas waterfalls are not too far from here so we set
up our tent and we're just gonna walk I like the prices here it's only four dollars
bargain look I have a swing at my camp spot and as I came here I was told there's no water
in the waterfall so that means there's no swimming today which is a shame because it's
so hot and humid but that's okay we'll be just fine tomorrow I'll get a hotel in Honduras
right this is it this is us we're here for the scenery because waterfall is not running
and my camp is ready camp with the view
this is pretty I wish I could swim in you like but you're too far and I have one meal to share
with you and then I'm gonna add water to this dehydrated soy with spices I got this in Mexico
this is actually meant to be for vegetarian tacos but this will be our source of protein
now I'm gonna drain this add garlic and onion fry it all together and then add all the veggies
together and plus other stuff you'll see in a second okay I think soy is ready so now I'm
gonna drain it and while my onion now is getting fried here I've added some extra spices pretty
much everything what I had and I have this and now I'm frying it all together I'm gonna add corn
just because I had it in my pannier I actually haven't tried it with corn before and at the end
we're adding potatoes and carrots that's it we'll mix it all together and it's gonna be
delicious I'm telling you and it's from the scratch and it's healthy and it's full of protein
just delicious and voila it's ready this
this is so good honestly this is my favorite meal now basically it's veggies and soy protein
that's it so good I tell you oh heaven I'm feeling so much better my tummy is full now
so let's explore let's see the dry waterfall folks a bit of a climb so apparently we have to
go down here to see the dry waterfall right this is a scenario it's just like this steep rocks
rocks rocks rocks and load a path right here it's very steep you can't see it on the camera of course
that's okay I'm here to tell you it's steep
looks like rain there what could possibly go wrong one hand in one hand I have a bag
in the other hand I have a camera and I'm walking with these rocks I think this is the waterfall
it's just dry like I reckon
I reckon the waterfall is supposed to just go from here I think so whoa this is
okay I might as well stop recording because I think I need two hands here right now like
to go through this and no it doesn't look challenging but it is I'll see you downstairs
right I think this is it we're not going to go further I'm satisfied with the view here
have a look so this is where normally the water is running through that's the waterfall
it's very interesting because these rock formations look like tall columns it's pretty cool
I've never seen anything like that to be honest this canyon at the bottom we would have to go
through these rocks uh yeah nah not happening let's go up now it's really up uh and then
there's one viewpoint I wanted to show you
yes I hope to fly a drone from there should be a big step yeah this is the way up
someone is climbing up that's crazy I think they've done this before
wow
don't fall yeah sure you've done this before haven't you like to me it looks like like if you
go all the way to the right if you have more options but it's just from my my point of view
yeah if you can jump on this ahead of you like yeah that's insane you have no fear
wow that's insane
yay congratulations no problem
well done well that was insane I don't know how they did it I would never be able to do it
oh no no way but anyhow we are at the top now and here we have this beautiful beautiful view
of the lake so gorgeous right I think it's time to fly my drone and let's hope it won't rain
what an awesome viewpoint but it's so windy
I can't fly my drone in these conditions but the view is beautiful
so pretty and we're back to the base camp it's so windy
I think a big storm is coming good morning now it's not so windy I think it's a perfect moment
for me to fly a drone and see this amazing lake are you ready?
and we all packed up and good to go I am so sad this is the end of my El Salvador journey
I was here for nine nights which is not long enough I would be here another month if I could
but I can't because I'm rushing to Costa Rica because soon my mom and my sister are flying
but I truly enjoy El Salvador and you know like El Salvador back in the days like eight years ago had
this bad reputation that it's unsafe and now it's so safe I camped for eight nights out of nine I
camped sometimes in the wild you know by myself at the lake it was awesome and I felt safe everyone
is friendly it was a beautiful experience I wish I could stay here longer minimum if you
try I suggest you if you ever come to El Salvador allow yourself one month because there's so much
to see and it's very nice because this country is not big so you don't have to go far to see
things that are epic you know anyhow this is it thank you El Salvador for having me
and now we're heading to Honduras Florida is only 80 kilometers from here but
but my GPS is saying it's going to take me two hours I'm not sure probably because the
roads will be like this a lot of villages and traffic look 37 degrees
it's very very hot so hot right now this is it this is the end of the road for El Salvador around
the corner there is the border crossing you are not allowed to bring drones to Honduras so most of
the people would ship it with DHL or any other courier to Costa Rica because actually Nicaragua
doesn't allow drones as well so you need to be aware of that when you're crossing the border
to Honduras and Nicaragua apparently even they don't like 360 cameras so I don't even
this camera that I'm filming now that normally is on my helmet I'm putting that aside I put my
camera aside I'm like there's nothing nothing on the bike I even took off my selfie stick that
normally cross the border with right let's head to the border and I'll see you on the other side
one more time and we all packed up and good to go oh my god what's wrong with my vocabulary
