Solo overnight camping | Is this tent worth buying?

Hello everyone welcome back to another video me and dingo are back out we're doing a solo and you might notice my eye don't worry i haven't got into any fights or anything but something bit me as you can see and all the bottom of my eye has swollen up and slightly changed color don't know what it was um i woke up like that this morning i had a little red lump and yeah i woke up to that this morning it's quite sore so that's what's going on with my eye before everybody asks not having a very good time at the moment am i with having that flu for about three weeks and and now this but still that's how it is i am out here because i wanted to get out i needed to get out and i wanted to film a video for all of you guys as well plus i've got got myself another tent to try out this is the cosmologe by unigear had it a couple of weeks just not had the chance to use it so i'm going to be using that today and i think it is this color as well so and i've also got some coffee to show you as well it's from a british company so i'll show you that later on when uh make a nice cup of anti-murdery juicy juice but for now let's get this set up because i think we've got some rain coming so we might even get a waterproofness test out this as well so let's get this set up shall we see what we get in the in the uh package all right inside okay got a uh instruction manual i'm guessing that's what it is an actual proper clip to put around your tent it's quite nice better than the old crap they normally give you pegs let's have a look at these okay pretty standard pegs poles what type of poles we get aluminium or yeah ally poles in there silver in color fly sheet which is the same color as the uh stuff sack and then the inner is that blue i actually quite like them colors not bad it's different right let's get this set up so these are the poles um i think it's all joined together it's like a spider which is probably what bit my bit the side of my eye yeah okay all right it looks like the pole is all completely one section okay i'm fine with that there we go and there is another pole a shorter pole not sure what that's for yet find out i'm assuming in the same assuming it goes something like that i'll look at the instructions quickly there's a second pole not a very long one a few sections and that goes across the middle so lady dingo hello girl oh my dear um so lady dingo has been over here for about an hour she's dug a hole there as you can probably see um yeah she's digging a hole there as well i don't know what she is after but she's after something there we go the unigear cosmo lodge two-person tent is up and you know what i actually quite like that i don't mind the color obviously the color is not going to be for everyone but i actually don't mind that because i use a lot of greens and browns when i come camping um so it's actually quite refreshing to use a different color for a change yeah that is it we've got two vestibules one on that side and also one on that side so if there's two of you in there one of you hasn't got to climb over the other one to get out yeah the guy ropes are already pre-attached you have one two four of them yeah i actually i don't mind mind that so far i think the um the connectors for the fly sheet when you put it on are a bit weird because you you put them underneath the poles um i can show you here they go they clip onto the bottom of the pole so that was a bit strange but other than that it looks all right it looks okay yeah i'm looking forward to sleeping in that tonight all right i'm gonna get my bedding in get that sorted out get dingo's bedding in and then i'm gonna make a cup of coffee because i'm gasping i need one yeah so i'm gonna get all that in and then i'll come back to you so i'm in the tent i've got my bedding sorted out i've got my one tigris memory foam pillow i've got my british army medium weight bag my inflatable mat dingo's got her mat down there and as you can see it's quite light in here which obviously for some people might be a bit of an issue in the morning some people like darker tents don't know but up here i've got like a mesh shelf i'm gonna call it a shelf that you can put stuff in got pocket here pocket there pocket there same that's that end and another two pockets that end now i didn't think this had any air vents i was wrong look there we go it's got one of them each end an extra vent one that end and one that end but plenty of room in here plenty of room for two people and obviously you've got the two vestibules either side for gear shouldn't be an issue yeah i like it actually i like it a lot as i said earlier the color's a little bit different some people might not like the color me someone who uses a camouflage and a lot of greens and browns this is quite refreshing for me i quite like this so yeah you'll see this more often on the channel i may keep it more for like when i do trips stuff like that maybe but yeah no a good size very happy with it so far we'll find out how later on if it rains the sun's been out quite a lot since i've got here so we'll see but for now i'm gonna make myself a cup of coffee got myself a cool bag look at that i ain't got to use my daughter's frozen one anymore so i'll show you that coffee that i've so this is by a company called goat herd coffee they are a british based company they're not actually too far away from me i think they're only about an hour's drive from me so that's not bad so yeah they they asked me mark you like coffee so do you want to try these are like coffee bags that's how we describe them to me as as you can see i haven't opened them yet these beans were roasted on the 26th of feb so uh let's make ourselves a coffee from goat herd coffee let's have a look at these bags oh okay so this is a pack of 20 and they also do them in tens ah i see what they are so there we go you put them over the top of your cup let me get my cup hold on so i've got my cup and you just obviously you open it at the top there pop it on top and pour your hot water on hey how about that that's actually pretty damn handy yeah okay i'm excited to try these they also do i believe freshly ground coffee in a packet and you can also buy beans if you want to grind them yourself you know yeah so get me some water boiling get one of these on the go and i'll bring you back when i'm pouring it in smells great it does smell good anyway let's get one made my goat herd coffee is made all right first try here we go oh that is so good actually that is really good that is lovely how convenient how convenient are these these like coffee bag like i said there's 20 in this packet right and obviously you don't have to bring a whole packet with you to come camping but they are very very convenient for camping yeah if you are a coffee lover and uh you want to support british companies and british farmers and things like that then i highly recommend this company you know they're uk-based they do obviously all different strengths of coffee this is a medium i believe yeah honestly it is lovely and it is all it's all freshly done to order as well so it's not been sitting in packets for months and months on end it's all freshly done when you order they freshly grind it up or however you want it there's a bit writing on the back here um i'm gonna i'm gonna read it to you so obviously we've got the name of the company goat herd coffee it says on the back legend has it that an Ethiopian goat herd named Kaldi discovered coffee after his goats danced from eating wild red berries curious monks brewed the berries and coffee was born centuries later we roast every batch fresh to order with that same spirit of curiosity you'll find the roast date on every bag so it's always fresh and always roasted your way Callum and Charlotte founders of goat herd coffee and i've got to say it's a really nice product and i'll definitely be purchasing some of their products in and she's cleaned her bowl out completely but what have i got in my not frozen cool bag all right very simple for dinner tonight no it's not a pot noodle i've got some bacon some eggs and i've got some sausages in here so that's what i'm gonna just fry up now my fire pit because it's one of them cheap ones it hasn't got a grill or anything on it so what i'm gonna have to do is i'm gonna do it in my frying pan and i'm gonna do it on my tri-star gas stove on the table here it's just gonna be easier and quicker that's what i'm gonna have so i'm gonna get on and cook that now because i'm hank marvin bloody starving my little tri-star stove is on i am going to get a bit of bit of olive oil there nice sausages it's done oh i am so hungry i've got some ketchup bit of ketchup bit of ketchup don't often have ketchup at the bottle there we go yeah don't often have ketchup but it is nice to have it occasionally there we go and sausages are bramley apple ones really lovely nice runny yolk on the egg i've got a full moon tonight as well that's good dingo's finally uh settled down she's been on the go all night well all day and all evening but i'm gonna eat this and i shall chat to you all in a bit i'm gonna eat my dinner so hungry that's it for me tonight i'm all tucked up in bed dingo's in bed as well dinner was nice um after dinner i just sat around the fire to be honest and just chilled out for a bit but now tucked up in here and this tent is actually a really nice place to be there is plenty of room in here but i might watch a film i downloaded and then head off to bed so i'll see you all in the morning good night say night dingo no you're not gonna say good night chance stop today good morning it's early it's about half six in the morning got myself a cup of coffee i've got to be up early because uh i've got to take the girlfriend to work this morning so early pack up and get a nice cup of coffee to start the morning with i slept really well last night really really well my eye is still hurting though i think it's still swollen up swollen up a little bit and go down by the morning tomorrow morning monday i think i'm gonna have to try and look in we know what that's like yeah when i woke up this morning it was raining a little bit i don't know how much it had rained during the night because i slept slept so good but the tent so far has performed great i had to check when i got up and there's no condensation in it anywhere none hand is dry nothing no condensation but yeah and it's not leaked anywhere as i said i don't know how long it was raining for i'm gonna drink this and uh i should get back to you all shortly stretch i'm all packed away so thank you for joining me and dingo on this little solo adventure i will leave all the relevant links
