So just a quick announcement before this video starts. I finally have merchandise available and
I am so excited to show it to you. I've been working on this for the past couple of months.
Everything has been made as ego-friendly, sustainable, affordable and good-looking as
possible, if I say so myself. We've got something for everyone so if you would like to get your
hands on some of it go to currentlyhannah.com slash merch and you can go and check it out.
Enjoy the video and thank you to Storyblocks for sponsoring this video.
That's a really great explanation. Oh look there's English.
If I can't translate for my life, why am I here?
There were still foothills and fires and breakdowns on the runway. I wanted to run with you.
I was second college bound and dreaming of what could be. Wanting to move with you.
Damn it's so green. It's so beautiful.
That's pretty good, right? The way it came out of your mouth wasn't good.
Your facial expression was good. I have to work on my voice.
My dainty fingers are too dainty.
I have no idea how to do this one.
I think we should just pack it up. I think we don't need it.
Glad that we came to the same conclusion.
This is us legitimately trying to figure out how things work.
I bet somebody who's watching right now knows how to do this. I know.
They're like screaming, screaming through the camera.
Just like they're like just can put the thing in the thing and that would work.
Good try. Back again.
Finally.
Oh yes, my favorite brand of wine. Wine cup. Jesus.
It's like sweet batata. Yeah, a bit of wine with your camping.
I think maybe I burnt it.
Oh, I totally burnt the bottom. I scrape off the cheese and then we get one piece of toast.
A little bit up again.
I'm excited. I can hear it already.
Holy crap, that's huge.
So if you can't tell, we figured out how to set up the awning.
Turns out we were missing two extra poles that help to stabilize the thing.
The thing that I knew was missing. We're looking at it like something's not right.
It's so easy. Wow.
And I'm really glad we've got it because it's gonna start pouring.
Or it's just gonna be like this for an hour or so.
Oh, curry.
It's a little spicy. Oh, really?
Oh, it's hot.
It's really hot.
That wasn't as instagrammable as I hoped.
So Chris and I actually came here in like January.
And it was just like a random three-day trip that we had together.
And we went to Nagano and it was like just snow everywhere.
We'd planned to go to these two spots, beautiful onsen and a beautiful waterfall.
However, there was so much snow that we actually just we couldn't get any further.
Like it was just completely blocked off.
We weren't actually able to get there.
So we've arrived back for a revenge trip.
What did you say?
Can't actually get there.
You can view it from there.
Okay.
Is it not this way?
Are you sure?
On the map it said this way.
Is this our first fight?
I do want to go here.
You're correct.
A giant cloud comes through and now I can't see anything.
No.
Damn.
It looks so beautiful for like the 10 seconds that we got to see it.
Now we can just go soak in an onsen.
Why does that sound British?
We just go soak in an onsen.
We soak in an onsen.
We just go soak in an onsen.
Well, I think it's safe to say that Chris and I are obsessed with the idea of a rooftop tent now.
And now we both want our own, which we may or may not be working towards.
I don't know.
I want to tell you a bit more about this trip and, you know,
the logistics of how everything worked and the company we went with and all of that.
But first, I would like to talk about this video's sponsor, which is Storyblocks.
So if you don't already know, Storyblocks offers a royalty-free,
demand-driven library of stock assets.
They've actually got everything that you could possibly need all under the one subscription.
Their subscriptions are really affordable.
They offer unlimited use of everything on their site, which is like
millions of things, I think.
Don't quote me.
I think there's millions.
But beyond that, Storyblocks has started a new initiative and it's called Restock.
And it's basically aiming to diversify the participants of people that are in the stock footage.
So if you look now, I think only 5% of them are non-white people.
They're aiming to have 20% of their stock footage with people,
to include Black, Indigenous and People of Colour by 2022.
Also, they're releasing a new round of collections including queer spaces and faces
from six LGBTQIA plus filmmakers,
each creating a collection of 50 video clips exclusive to their library.
I really love the fact that Storyblocks has got this new initiative
and I think it's good that more companies are working towards a more diverse and accepting future.
So if you would like to get started, go to storyblocks.com slash currentlyhannah
or click the link in the description to check out all that they have to offer.
Thank you to Storyblocks for sponsoring this video
and thank you to you for supporting my sponsors, which supports me.
And then I get, and then we can keep going and then there's a little, a nice little loop.
So this trip, this trip was so much fun.
Wow, Chris and I really, really loved every second of it
and neither of us wanted to return back to Osaka at the end because it was just perfect.
The fact that you can just wake up in a really comfortable bed,
nice and cozy in your blankets and you've just got the most beautiful view of a lake
or I don't know, a beach, mountain, wherever you, wherever you want to park your car.
I think like waking up in my bed the next day was very lackluster.
So actually this, you know, like the car, rooftop tent, camping gear and all of that,
that combo wasn't offered to me for free per se.
It was more so to Chris.
He was hired like as a photographer to take promo shots and everything on the van.
I'm just there for the free ride,
which is all basically just to say that I'm not getting paid or sponsored in any way to say this.
But ****, what a great, a great business, a great system, a great car, everything.
I loved everything about it.
So I'll happily talk about the company.
Its name is called Overland Japan.
It's a company based in Tokyo and everything that was in our video that we were using,
that's all included in the rental.
Like if you decided to rent the same one as us,
you would get the same amount of gear that we would get.
Yeah, so thank you Overland Japan for letting, for letting Chris use the car.
And then thank you Chris for me to just join you on your trip.
All of the locations of the places that we visited,
I'll put them in the description down below.
Hopefully, if future Hannah can remember to do that.
Yeah, this trip was amazing.
I loved every second of it.
I really hope that you guys liked the video.
I'm sorry, it's a little bit longer than I originally expected it to be.
Thank you Strobox for sponsoring this video.
Thank you to Chris for letting me join the trip and just for being amazing.
And thank you to you for watching this video all the way through to the end.
And also if you'd like to get some merch, make sure you go get some merch.
Currentlyhannah.com slash merch.
And I'll see you guys next time.
Bye.
Who's Kelvin?
Who is Kelvin?
How do you know it?
Snacks for me now.
Oh, thank you.
I'll enjoy my coffee and sandwich.
I'm not gonna do that again.
Look at that train.
He's like, no, I don't need no man.
Thank you to you for sponsoring...
No, for supporting my sponsors.
All of the description of the...
No.
All of the locations.
So if you would like to get started, go to curr...
No, don't go to currentlyhannah.
