What's up y'all this is Ivy. In my last video someone commented more TIU content please
so here's another vlog at Tokyo International University.
Um no you can just say whatever yeah. Um hello guys I am Ivy's sister. My name is Valkyrie. I
bought this the other day. Uh please tell me what you think about it in the comments. Also subscribe
So since my first class isn't until 1 30 I'm gonna get some lunch with my host sister
who you guys are also about to meet and one of our other friends.
Now we have finally left the house and I'm walking to the train station right now.
It's very common for people in Japan to use sun umbrellas and the summers get so hot so this is a
lifesaver. The reason Yochi my host sister is not with me is because she is riding her bike to the
station and the reason that I'm not riding a bike to the station is because I can't ride a bike.
I'm fully aware that this is very embarrassing. I honestly don't really mind walking to the station
even though it's 30 minutes just because the walk there is so scenic and just it's beautiful.
This is Musashi Takahagi station and it's one of the less busy ones. It's pretty small.
To be honest every single time I take the elevator up
and the reason is because I walked 30 minutes here okay so I think it's acceptable.
Now we have arrived at our second train station because we have to take two trains to get to
Ikebukuro which is where my school is located. Today I taught Yochi a very special American
tradition which is to make a wish at 11 11 and this is her very first time doing it.
This is Yochi's favorite pasta restaurant. Right now we're ordering. Let me introduce you to the
new person here. This is Rohith. He is a friend from TIU and we're gonna be eating together.
Yochi wanted us to do this Japanese pose and she told us when you do it the sound you're
supposed to make is and that's like that's like what you're supposed to do.
After we messed around for a while my food finally came
and I always tie my hair up because eating is a mission. I'm about to devour this pasta.
Okay yeah it's not even pictures it's like a video.
Once we were done eating we finally got ready to leave. Yochi decided that she's taking over
as the new Ivy Chen um but yeah we paid and we headed to Tokyo International University.
Here we are on the second floor. It's not too busy today I think because it's a Friday.
Throughout the school we have a lot of vending machines which is really helpful since we don't
actually have any water fountains. This right here is the view from the 12th floor and it's
even more beautiful during golden hour. My very first class for today is Leadership Creativity
and Organizational Behavior. Oh my god what a long name. But um this class is a lecture so
I honestly think it's not that interesting. It's also supposed to end at three o'clock but he always
goes overtime and my next class is at 3 10 so all the time I'm just late for my last period.
I ran into some friends in the elevator and I shamelessly plugged my YouTube channel
so here she is scanning my QR code.
The next class I have is Intermediate Japanese. As you can see my notes are very very thorough.
Next we are doing some group discussions here. I partnered up with Jessica who is
the smartest person in my entire class so this was this was easy for me.
I don't know if you guys remember but I said the view during golden hour here
is beautiful. From this window you can see the entire city. I love to just stand here and admire
Tokyo. Now that classes are done let's explore Ikebukuro.
This is the bento I ate for dinner. Ikebukuro station is super busy at night so you are
fighting for your life to get a seat on the train and I failed today so I had to stand for
40 minutes. We eventually made it to Kawagoe station and then I have to wait here again
for my next train. Since this train runs less often I usually am stuck at the station
for like 10 or 20 minutes but eventually the train finally came and we headed home.
Here I am on my little walk home today. Sometimes I get so tired by the end of the day that I really
don't feel like walking but other times like today I really enjoy it because Tokyo is just so busy
that it can be a little bit over stimulating. Just having this quiet walk at the end of a busy day
is a really nice way for me to unwind and unpack and I can sort of reflect on everything that
happened. Also for some reason today the moon was just looking super full like it looked like a
movie. I don't know if maybe the universe knew I was making a video and it just came in clutch
but I really did enjoy this walk today. That's gonna be all for today. If you haven't seen
