My Favorite Biohazard Hoard Clean Up

Hey what's up y'all it's your boy Jacob coming at you live with another deep hoarder home cleanup and today we have tons of possums and little baby possums throughout the project they're so cute we have a bunch of cat and dog feces littered everywhere we have a bathtub just filled to the top with diapers so this will be fun and just the most cobwebs i think i've ever seen in my entire career as a biohazard cleaner this one is gonna be wild so watch till the end to see how we transform this property so first things first let's go ahead and suit up i'm ripping the blue ones today pro trick here i like to put the booties on my feet first before putting the suit on just makes it way easier and the respirator i'm using today is from parcel safety these guys are super legit i love using their masks they look cool as heck and they keep the odor out most importantly check them out with link in bio if you need a new mask but without further ado let's get moving on with the garage first this was the first main entryway into the property and it was closest to the dump so i thought we would start here and just start unloading all this stuff out of the property so the client we are serving today this is her property that she's had for over 30 years and let's call her martha martha recently had a medical emergency at a public store and had to get taken to the hospital she was there for a little bit over a week and when they tried to send her back home the social services found out how poor of a condition that the home was in and didn't feel safe enough to to just leave her there like that so she's been in the hospital for a good bit still recovering and our team was tasked with the extended family to go and clean up the property and make it safe for her to return or end up probably selling the property is kind of what they're thinking long term so point is this property needs to get cleaned up and ready for rehab and it's going to be really hard to do with all that urine and feces and junk everywhere so we're going to get moving on with this garage and just unload it bit by bit there's a couple of valuables we'll be looking out for that the family specifically requested just some memorabilia and family heirloom sort of stuff most things they felt comfortable discarding on their behalf so should go by pretty quick but now that the garage is done we're gonna get our first look into the main bedroom here and if you take a look around with me there are just so many cobwebs they're so thick too as soon as you walk in the door they just sort of hit you right in the face i have never seen something like this before this is absolutely wild and it'll be really satisfying to clean up so stay tuned for that obviously you've got all these feces here as well which is going to be an absolute bummer to clean up and the kitchen here also had a lot of cobwebs and what's going to be tricky about this project is just the amount of sharps and needles we'll have to deal with you can't just go willy-nilly and start grabbing stuff because you'll probably get poked by a needle and that is going to be one expensive medical bill for the company to front and we don't need that we don't need that today we don't need that distraction keeping us from what we need to get done here's the living room not so bad it'll just take a bedroom again not too bad the other bedroom here was kind of the cat litter bedroom so this is unfortunate sometimes we see things like this where the cats just you know had nowhere else to go and they found their spot and they made do and then here's the bathroom that we'll be cleaning up first things first let's get these cobwebs out of our face i've got a lot of hair here that is at risk of getting full of cobwebs so i want to get these done first things first because when you get a hair full of cobwebs it just kind of ruins your day you know what i mean i have never in my entire career seen this many cobwebs at a single job site before like it was just so so thick of cobwebs and i just i've never i didn't even know they could get this bad you know what i mean it just looked like straight out of a horror film and it was kind of turning into like a cotton candy sort of thing with this big old broomstick it just like took up the entire thing i didn't end up cleaning it up to the very end just to see how much we could actually pick up from it which was a super super satisfying so once those cobwebs got finished i went ahead and helped get the gang done on the garage here just sweeping it up scraping up the floors and getting everything bagged up and tossed out of here after that i got to move on with the entryway of the house there was just some general clutter out here that we had to go back up and trash but it wasn't just a pure trash out because they had some valuable items that they were looking for like they had cremated one of their cats and they really wanted those there was also just some some rings and some firearms that they were looking for so we had to be really careful as we were searching for that we got all that picking up and trashed out and i went ahead and got moving on with the bathroom here the bathroom is going to be a lovely lovely specimen to deal with as we just have hundreds of hundreds of diapers to go and trash out i went ahead and started using this grabber tool to go take these up one by one and i didn't really expect them to be so heavy like i could only fill this bag up you know maybe a third of the way before it just got like way too heavy for the crew so that was really tedious and is going to take a long time to get done completely so i went ahead and started moving on with the rest of the living room getting some of this cabinetry taken out and the china but it was really hard to move the whole china cabinet with all the feces on the carpet so i just kind of decided to take it out one by one so i got moving with the carpet here rolling it up into strips cutting that out and getting it out of here doing carpet like this can be really hard just because since it's so saturated with urine it just kind of crumbles and falls apart at your fingertips plus you literally have to cut through feces in order to get these up into strips so this was not the most lovely experience i've ever had like you literally see it disintegrating before my fingertips as i try to get this thing up so i had to stop here because it was just pushing all the feces up to the front and i grabbed my shovel to just scoop up the feces into the trash and that was enough for me to go and finish up this part of the carpet so i got that all bagged up and went ahead and did the same thing for the carpet pad which was much much easier and i was really surprised you know you can start seeing some of that hardwood floor underneath after i got that finished i went ahead and moved on to the dining room where we had this big old couch that was kind of getting in the way of me doing my job so i'm letting it hang out and balance here for a minute as i get things uh all settled away once i got that leaned up on the side i just started doing the same thing being really careful to sort through these items here in case there's any sharps or sharp material firearms too right because we're keeping an eye out for that and just kind of going bit by bit until it all gets cleaned up so i got moving on that uh rest of the gang still working on it too and so i decided to go and move on to the kitchen now and get that taken care of again there's a lot of sharps in this one so i really gotta take my time and go slowly here so i don't hurt myself on accident there's a good amount of appliances on this one in e-waste so i had to go and separate some of the e-waste material out with the microwaves and put that in a separate area the dumpster guys really don't like it when we do that and mix it together same thing with the sharps here too these sharps have to go in a very special medical waste box you can't just throw these in the trash unfortunately luckily some of them have caps on uh but a lot of them do not so uh we're gonna have to go and go through that bit by bit got that kitchen mostly done and while the gang goes on and finishes that i went ahead and got moving on with the bedroom here uh i think the footage cut out for the bedroom so i only got the beginning part but this one was hard because i had to go and again look through all the sorted valuable materials and find firearms and uh pet cremation remains and all that which we did end up finding which i was super stoked about but after that bedroom we had to get moving on with the cat room the cat room was just absolutely jacked full of cat feces and that odor and ammonia from the urine permeated through all the porous material so obviously the carpet carpet pad all the clothes in this room just every single piece of material in this room was just drenched in odorous cat urine so obviously we had to go and remove all the clothes and everything out of here and you know it's bad when you have to use commercial shovels to start scooping out the cat litter and cat feces all throughout the room so that took a good number on us as we finished that up we ended up getting all that material out of the room here and got it looking real nice at the end now for the rest of the house we had all the carpet we still had to do so had to rip that up bit by bit as well into these huge freaking strips uh which everybody loves and i use this little scraper tool to help pick up all the carpet pad underneath it all as well jobs like this are just super involved with your hands and the tools obviously help a lot but there's only so much you can do when they're just absolutely kicked down on the bottom like this carpet pad was just so drenched in contamination that even the scraper itself had a hard time picking up all the material so cleaning and disinfecting these bathrooms and bathtubs was obviously not very fun you literally have to go in and just start scrubbing away at everything but by the end of the i think spent five days on this project we got the garage from this down to this super great transformation here the main entryway of this house at the cobwebs went from this to this the dining room we got from this over to this which we're so stoked about we got the bathroom from this hot mess full of diapers down to this which is good but still needs to get absolutely torn out before anyone can go and move in here kitchen we got down from this over to this luckily no one got picked by some needles so that's a dub we got the main bedroom over from this down to this let's go pretty clean and we got the cat room full of cat feces from this
