Haaland is GOOD but Messi was out of this World

I said I think this lad could score 50 goals this season in all competitions. I mean we're seeing something that we have literally never seen before. These numbers are just smashing every record out the park. This would rewrite football in many ways. Before we start with the Messi show, I have a quick message for you. Lionel Messi, the GOAT, just sent me some amazing clothes. This is Messi's official clothing brand called the Messi Store. For example, I've got this high quality jacket, some great World Cup t-shirts to celebrate this monumental victory, a stylish pullover and many more things. If you are a Messi fan, you need to get one of those. All links are in the description down below. Nobody can keep up with him. Nobody can contain him. Free Messi and he's got some help. Sandero can't stop him. Goal free and it's slapped away but it crossed the line. More brilliance from Messi. A hat-trick. It's Messi 3. By his high standards, that's pretty average. Messi is trying to lock it in. And anything that Messi tries, Messi can do. Now Messi again. And all the checks and all the brilliant goals. He just never, ever disappoints. It's Messi. It's Champions League history. Nobody has ever scored five goals in a Champions League match before. Breaks here for Fabregas. Goal for Messi. Almost certainly will put this game out of sight in Brathing, which he does. Coolness personified. Messi's second goal of the evening. To him now is Messi. Brilliantly done. Oh, it's glorious. Samuel Messi shrugs off Ozil. Takes on two. Threads it through to Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez! Barcelona are back! Oh, wonderful. Wonderful. Amazing. You can't plan for goals like that. You can't design goals like that. You can't stop goals like that. Messi! 2-0. Messi drives. Left two open. Messi! Magic! Pedro! Goal! Still Messi. And Messi still. Lionel Messi. Oh, wow. You can't hold him back. Messi, what a great ball. What an excellent run. Piniesta teases Casillas against Barcelona in the lead. Messi. Messi! This is Messi. Fabregas getting forward. Here is Fabregas to finish it off. What a finish! And into the net for the first goal for Barcelona. Lionel Messi. The chance to draw level with Gerd Muller's fabulous record of 72-73 in the shirt of Bayern Munich. 67 league goals for the season. Once again, it's in the back of the net. This season alone, an amazing 72 goals. Who knows what legacy he will leave this fabulous game because he is setting new standards. Messi. Magnificent. Unbelievable. It's the one constant in world football. If Lionel Messi plays for Barcelona, he scores 21 La Liga games in a row. His name has been on the scoresheet. Shakespeare himself taking on all colours. Lionel Messi. And now he is the man who scored more goals in the calendar year than anybody else. Not Pele, not Cruyff, not Maradona. Nobody has scored more goals in the calendar year than the great Lionel Messi. Some say he's the greatest and statistically, he is the greatest now. Messi just dances away from Dimi Kelis' challenge. Runs past two more. For his third of a match. Lionel Messi on the brink of a fourth goal. Oh, and he does it with style. Messi in his stride. Messi. Another hat-trick. Oh, it's a chance for Messi. Galloping clear. It's another hat-trick. Off control. Brilliant out of his feet. Lionel Messi. The 20th hat-trick of this sensational Barcelona career. They're backing off and backing off. A hat-trick for Lionel Messi. Messi talking in terms. Left Marcena for dead. It's Lionel Messi. Oh, it's another hat-trick. Just outstanding. If he's not scoring them, he's creating them. Here's a talent. Lionel Messi dances with defenders through the legs to create a little magical Messi moment. Oh, lovely pass from Messi. Xavi onside. And it is absolutely brilliant to watch, Kevin. It is a privilege to watch some of this football that Barcelona play. Magnificent goal. Great team goal. Messi, great ball. Onside again. Will it be this time? Read it through. Abidal on. Tucks it home. And Barcelona's in front. Lionel Messi detonates his pass to the nanoseconds. Lionel Messi. Wonderful ball from Messi. Pedro. They're back in it. It's that long, isn't it? Glorious pass. Oh, what a finish, says Fabregas. Messi doesn't touch the ball. He just weaves his body to centre defence. Messi, strength and balance. Power, pace and almost. And then there's no space, you think. And then Messi picks it up. Squeezes in between two of the tightest of angles. And he makes it look so simple. But this guy is a genius. Messi's twinkling feet delight them once more. He's just mesmerising. There's the acceleration. Skips over the next one. He lifts it over the defender. And again, look at the close control. Oh, Messi finds the gap. But there was a one. Oh, comes back off the post. What about that touch and the movement from Messi. First touch was simply a delight for Messi. That's Messi. Goes right across the back wall. Could have been a foul there. Messi refuses to go down. Refuses to give up. And a check stops him. He does what the four defenders in front of him couldn't do. At least four defenders in front of him. But he's come inside here. And I think Lionel Messi, he may lighten things up. Leaves one defender for death. Slips over a second one. Cuts inside. He doesn't have feet. He has magic wands attached. He is a magician. He's a magician, isn't he? Really hard as he can pass those challenges. And do you know what? If he lets one of them hit him. Then it's a pound a kick. But he wants to beat them. He wants to show he's got the quality and the skills to beat anybody. And once again, it's the woodwork that stops him from scoring. Oh, the fans love it though, Kevin. Oh, the Manson magician. It's like a circus act sometimes, isn't it? Now Messi teasing Antoninou. Back to Messi. Oh, brilliant. How about that? Perhaps it's the touch of the season. It was sensational. Yes, he's done it perfectly. The feint goes from the second. Kessander. Here comes a third. Here he goes. Oh, he's going against the fourth. So he gets into the area. He can't with the feint. Here's Messi. And the acceleration and the temperature of Ezra. A good ball for Messi. And he gets there. Messi now is trying to do something for him. He is just the best player I've ever seen, Rob. I've never seen anybody better than this man. And as you say, he is only 24.
