A Chilled Christmas Vlog 🎄 Van Life!

Good morning my enigmatic ray of sunshine. How are you doing? How is life? It is December and it feels really weird because it is sunny and there are palm trees. I'm in a top. Gigi hasn't even got a jacket on. She's got her bougie harness on. I do actually have one that matches this outfit but she's not wearing it right now. We're gonna need to change that but I figure maybe we just need to get more in the Christmas spirit. Maybe I'm not being Christmassy enough. You know, if Gloria's not decorated the most festive item I have is this. It also landed in gravy a few days ago so it's not really that cute. So we're gonna be going on a Christmas mission and we're gonna be making van life Christmas happen. It's happening. It's happening! Anybody else as enthusiastic as I am? Gigi are you excited? Are you excited for Christmas? Excited for bringing van life Christmas alive? I'm not hearing the enthusiasm I was hoping for but that's okay. That's okay because we're gonna be driving along the coast with the sunset and it's going to be lovely because the last few days I've been here making some YouTube shorts. Yeah let's go get some Christmas spirit. Let's go get some Christmas decorations. Let's do it. Honestly I've been not doing it because I just I can't deal with more clutter in the van and I would like you to know that I have named my my dog who stays on my dashboard even though do you want to see my dashboard? Do you want to see do you want to see my dashboard? It's come off the thing. It's just not great but yes I've decided to name my bulldog. Cute right? Geoffrey is gonna sit on my dashboard for the rest of time. He's highly impractical I'm not gonna lie about it um but I'll be damned if anyone else's car has a Geoff in it. Okay you need to get a Geoff. You need to get a Geoff in your car. I'm just saying he's he really likes to play it up. All right we're going to be setting the mood with some Christmas music. If you don't like Christmas or you're already fed up with it you're gonna hate me. Rocking around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party. Please don't let there be a bike behind me because I'm definitely gonna crash. Now we're going we're going we're going we're going. Can't turn the wheel. Can't turn the wheel. Got it. Oh we're good. We're good. Oh look how pretty it is. Oh the sunset's amazing. Oh my gosh it feels so illegal listening to Christmas songs when it's this sunny outside. There are yachts everywhere. It is giving summer but we are we're good full of Christmas in here. Absolute carnage. This is why you don't drive a city during the day. Doesn't matter how often I do this I will always drive in cities at rush hour towns at rush hour all the wrong places at the wrong times because well I'm just very unaware of time. There I said it. I don't I don't understand how time works and I don't intend to. That is just a personal lifestyle choice that I have decided to make. I have decided to make. Oh lord there's like a thousand people. Why are there so many people? I'm beginning to think that this is a bad decision. Why is there no spaces? They just want one. It's not that I want 50. Whoa. The park. Yeah you almost crashed into me bitch. Move forward stop being so spatially unaware. I actually really don't. Okay I've made the executive decision that we're gonna avoid traffic and we're going to look at cute lights instead. Let's go on quite possibly a death mission because I have to cross many roads to get to the town but it's fine. We can do it because we're great. We have the power of Christmas. We have the spirit of Christmas on our side. Yeah that's the one. Okay let's go let's go. All right it's been literally half an hour and it's gone from light to dark. I know that is what a sunset is for but it's so cold and honestly I don't really want to be walking around in the dark. Like I never used to care but recently I've just got really kind of stressed about walking alone and that is hard for me to admit but I have and I'm not entirely sure why. Um let's go have a little look at the lights. It might be worth it. Truth may be told I may be coming here for a jumper as well. Not just for the Christmas lights. I really want a jumper from this shot. Guilty. Guilty. Okay don't come for me. It's Christmas. I have to buy myself presents. No one else does. This is the body. Okay what do you guys think? Cute? Yeah I think he's being a bitch too. Okay I've I've had enough of Christmas. Let's go let's go back to Glory. All right we're in the back. There is something I need to show you. One it is 10 30 right now. How? How? I swear I thought it was it wouldn't have surprised me if it was about quarter past seven. Half past seven. 10 30. 10 ******* 30. But I need to show you this. It's a full-length mirror. I found this in the shop the other day when I was going around the supermarket. I saw this. I checked myself out in it as one does in the aisle and I was like this looks the same size as my van door. Hello. And it has this hook thing which doesn't really work that well. But it means I get a full-length mirror. Two years. It's taken me two years to find a full-length mirror. And I haven't broken it yet. And I haven't even broken my other mirror. So I would just like to have a moment of celebrating my lack of clumsiness and my mirror awareness. Thank you. Thank you very much. Why are the pearls not pearling? What is happening? Do you guys recognize this from my last video? You guys really liked my last video. I was really happy with it. My dad helped me film it and it was so much nicer to have someone helping me film. It was so cool. It's what I've wanted for a while but it actually took me five days to film. Plus the editing. It literally took like six days to do. Four days. Don't ask how. I'm still confused how it took that long to film. But boy oh boy. Filming is no joke. Filming is no joke. Takes forever. Especially when you don't have like uh people cornering off stuff for you. You have to wait for like 10 hours for someone to move so you can have the spot. Not a fan. Not a fan. Yeah I loved it. I loved it. This is so much fun. Right. I was gonna cook. Oh ----. I can't. I actually can't. I have duck in the fridge. Do I have anything else? I have nothing else that I want to eat. I was gonna make duck but I can't. I can't do it. Plus my pan is dirty. I used it this morning and just as I do every morning I just don't wash it up till absolutely necessary. So that is good enough for me to not cook. So what delight are we gonna have instead? Now mango passion skier. Skier. Skier. Yum it. That seems nutritious. Right okay tomorrow we're gonna go on that coastal. Coastal uh drive because I don't want to do it in the dark. It's so much nicer and it's sunnier so I'm just gonna stay here. It'll be fine. It's fine. Everywhere's fine. This is just a really. I have such a cavalier approach to everything now. Honestly my ballsyness has gone down recently. My ballsyness for van life has gone down. I don't know why. I've shrunk back into this little that mode. I don't know what that is. A light energy. Soft girl energy mode which I've never had in my life before. It's come about this year so that's been truly lovely because I rely a lot on my my masculine energy to get me through everything that I do. And this year's been a year of feminine energy. So I've been a lot lighter and uh now it's catching up because I just I don't want to do anything else. I just want to like I just want to chill. Okay tonight we're gonna paint nails. I went on a bit of a shopping spree for nail polishes randomly in Sephora because I'm fed up with my nail polish. Red, pink, blue. Red. I always go for red but that is such a sexy red. Pink. I think I'm gonna go blue. Let's go blue so I can look like my nails are on a dead person. I'm in a lack of energy era right now. Everything I'm like. If it's not easy which precisely nothing is in the van. I'm like nope. I can't do it. Honestly I'm going through such. I don't know what's happened to me this year. It's like I've just melted into this fairy and I don't want to do anything. I'm just like so happy chilling. It's not useful. My masculine and my inner fire right now is like and I'm just like I have like an internal battle 24 7. It is exhausting. All right let's paint my nails because that is a really fun thing for you guys to watch me do. Don't say I don't treat you right. Don't don't say that. Look how bad my chandelier is getting. Look at it. Do you remember when it used to be good? These have all of these strands attached. This is why chandeliers shouldn't be put in bands and taken up and down most days of the week. Today I'm going for opi Barbie pink. This isn't very festive but I think pink's becoming festive. I've never thought of it as a festive color. Now I did. Oh god do I like that? Gigi why are you itching? Please don't have fleas. I got her a new harness. In fact I got her three new harnesses because I love the the harnesses. I'm going to show them all to you. She also has a sparkly jacket coat for this winter. I'm very unbelievably excited about this. I'll show you. I have to show you. I'll show you her her. This is her chic coat. It's leather quilted with fur and it has like this really cute clasp. It's from, if you want one, it's from Milk and Pepper. Not paid. Nothing. Just a pure heart to heart recommendation. It's like the one dog brand that I actually like and they're not sponsoring me or anything. That is my genuine opinion and it's why I spent like a lot of money with them. But Gigi looks fancy as **** so. Okay you're still itching. What is happening? Bro do you need to take this off? She also has a sparkly collar on. Oh ----. Shit. Gigi look what you just did. Why are you so itchy there? Okay let's continue with the nail polish session. Shit I should have taken my clothes off first because now I'm gonna have to stay in my jeans for ages. This is one thing I suck at and it's nail polish. I didn't even remove the last one properly and now it looks like my cuticles are bleeding. I could have done a better job of painting these but I don't care that much. They look cute. All right I'm gonna get ready to get to bed because it is late. Ew my bed feels gross. Okay come here. Look at that. Look how cute my hair looks. This is day seven without washing it. It is adorable. All right look at that. It is currently 10 55 and I just woke up like a true icon. What day is it? What day is it? Wait morning routine at the I grabbed my my stuff. I grabbed my cup. I grabbed my Christmas flavored coffee. I don't actually have any in here right now. It's in the front but I'm just gonna have to need more of that. Okay Christmas flavored coffee is vibes. Okay well at least my hair looks cute right? Everything else is absolute carnage in here. It's not cute. This is not cute. Okay I just sit here. Oh she's adorable. Right I'll get you my chocolate. This is what I do. I sit on my bed, my coffee ---- and then I just go through all the messages from you guys that I have on various platforms. Today I have I want the moment. I try not to get on my phone in the mornings but I always do. I just answer a few random messages. Hello Gigi. Take care of Ami. She will. You're my first inspiration to travel by myself and I did that for a month in Europe. I'm from California. Lucky, lucky, lucky and now I just want to own a van and travel all over Europe all by myself just like you. That is ******* adorable. Do it sis. Do it but don't do it forever because it hurts after a while but it's it's so fun. It's so fun for a little bit. That chocolate so I'm ready to go. Gigi you ready to go? Are you ready? Let's go on a little coastal drive because I'm ready for the sea and I'm very excited so I hope you are too. I don't know if you can see there's a Marilyn Monroe mural on the side of the building. This is what I love about Cannes. There's like loads of film things everywhere. There's like a 70m art mural as well. It's really cool. I'm genuinely slightly allergic to traffic if you can't tell. The pedals in my van hurt so much to press down like just if you drive a manual and not an automatic your feet just get wrecked in traffic. My favourite thing here are the pink houses. There are so many pink houses and fun houses and oh there's even a Christmas sign and if you look that way. Hello Mr. Sea. I don't know if you can see but in the distance the mountains are snow-capped. That is not adorable though. Grossy. What is happening? Look how cute it is everywhere. Oh it's just a dinoaur. It is gorgeous. Look at that pink house. Holy ----. Oh I need it. I need it. It is a matter of need not want. Unfortunately for me. It looks crazy driving through here during the day. All these rocks are like bright orange. It's the coolest thing ever. All right we just got her to stop because I need to take her out but we're gonna go to the garden centre because we need to Christmas decorate. Okay speed, speed, speed, speed, speed. Garden centre. We're buying Christmas decorations. She just tried to do a poo on the floor so she's in All right goods have been been retrieved. I'm going to show you in a second. We're gonna have to go find somewhere to park. Let's just drive. Let's chill here. All right let me show you the goods. Okay we got we got bows. Okay we have our four poinsettias. They have little clips. Oh god god glitter. Glitter everywhere. Okay next up. Oh ----. I bought these the other day. I put them around the van because my fairy lights, you know the ones I fixed. These they're just I they've just broken. They're fully broken now. They're maybe the third set of lights I've put up here in two years. I've got 12 meters, 12.2 meters and there's 6.6 meters between the two walls and then we've got the end ones so we should be good. We're gonna put my little decorations on them. I'm pretty pleased with this idea and you might be like Ami where's the Christmas tree? Good question. The Christmas tree is still in the store because I'm trying not to get emotional about it but I just can't fit a Christmas tree in here. It's just too much in the van. There's not enough space and I'm never one for being practical but I can't take another item in here. I'm gonna cry and we don't want that because that is not chic. How am I gonna? All right let's just go through it. I have a feeling once these go up I'm not gonna take them down ever again. This is going surprisingly well so far. I can't wait for them to all just fall down again to be honest. Oh we should watch the Grinch because oh ----. I just love it so much. I used to get so scared by the idea of the Grinch and I was like I'm not watching that. It looks scary but I watched it and my whole life changed. This is why I love film. It just I feel like your favorite movie really does say something about you. The Grinch. I just feel like the real life Grinch to be honest. Half the time I just want somebody to love me like the Grinch. I just tuck myself away in my van away from life and then I'm just waiting for somebody to come along and make me feel alive again. Let's continue with the fairy lights. You tell I've had to do this so many times with my other fairy lights. Oh my god do you remember Scatola my spider? Do you remember because she ran in there never saw her again ever. Like I just got this weird fear when I put my hand up there and I was like why do I feel stressed? Like why does my hand feel like weird? Oh wow you know what I don't even have any spiders in my van anymore. I really I barely ever get them and I am so unbelievably thankful that I don't get any because you guys know how I am with insects. I appreciate their majesticness but I don't appreciate their insectness. It's scary. I don't really know why. Like why do we even find insects scary? Is it like evolutionary? Does evolution even exist? Do we even exist? That was crazy deep. Oh god. It's been like a year and a half but what if she's still living in there? I have one spider on my ladder at the back. One. Oh my god it's perfect. It's perfect. I'm so good at everything. Okay almost everything. Now this one's annoying me. I could just cut it off. I could just literally take it down. Bye fairy lights. I have to destroy my van in under five seconds. All right we got a lot of bows. I got my big bow. Where is Where'd I put that? All right that's what that is what's missing. Christmas tunes. Christmas tunes are missing. It didn't come with a thing so I'm having to improvise. Okay that is kind of cute. It reminds me of last year but so much neater and also I lied. I do have a Christmas tree. She's only tiny but she's mighty. Okay you ready? Oh cute. I think this is really cute. And granted this isn't the same as a Christmas tree. Christmas tree hits different when you switch the lights on but this is really cute and I much prefer these fairy lights to the ones those copper ones you know the ones I had before. Also I did say I would play you a song on the guitar. I would do that I promise really soon. As you can see my nails are short. I've been practicing. It's just I just need a bit longer. I mean I could really use a guitar teacher a really good one but it's okay I'm I'm doing it but maybe I'll give it maybe I'll play you a song as a Christmas present. Yeah let's do that.
