Ladies and gentlemen welcome to this video. Currently I'm at Lake Clark and I'm staying
at Silver Salmon Creek Lodge. In this video I want to show you all about this experience
so let's go look for bears. So one thing I love about Lake Clark are these ATVs and these carts.
You basically sit in these carts and get driven around on these paths. That allows you to cover
so much more ground and really optimize your time for bear viewing. So a typical day at Silver Salmon
Creek is you get up. We've been getting up early. We've been going out at 6 and coming back at 8,
eating breakfast at 8, immediately going out around 9 30, coming back for lunch at 1 o'clock,
and then right after lunch going back out again, coming back for happy hour at around 6 o'clock,
and then after dinner which is 7 o'clock go out again for another hour or two. So you really get
to optimize your time with the bears here. It is all about getting to see as much as you can.
So overall I think Lake Clark is a great option for people who want to see bears.
It was very bear oriented. You didn't have to spend all day on your feet. So if you catch
one of my other videos about Hallow Bay, we were on our feet for about 10 hours a day
doing almost 10 miles, almost you know 25-30,000 steps. Lake Clark is a lot more comfortable.
You're being pulled in these carts and you're still getting optimal bear viewing time. On top
of that the lodge has amazing food. The food there is amazing. They have exceptional chefs,
exceptional bakery chefs. It was really good and it was a great place to put on the pounds.
That's all I can really say because you can't say no to the food because the food is so good.
Anyways I hope this video helped you decide on whether or not you're going to visit Lake Clark.
Remember to book one to two years ahead because the place just sells out.
I'll see you guys in the next video.
