Hello and welcome to my channel. Today I'm going to be talking to you about a new patio dining set
that I just picked up and received from a company called Pamapik. We finally entered spring here in
New Jersey 2026. It's been a brutal winter, lots of snow, lots of cold, but now the spring is here.
It's time to get the outdoor area set up. It's going to take some time, going to take some work,
going to take some money. I recently picked up a hardtop gazebo and once I put the outdoor dining
set back that we previously had underneath the new gazebo, well guess what? It looked awful,
right? It really just brings out something new with something old. Chairs had a little bit of
rust on them, didn't notice it much. Put them underneath a new gazebo and all of a sudden you
notice every possible flaw. So my wife and I decided that we needed to upgrade our outdoor
dining patio set. I looked around the internet, found this one by Pamapik. I like the specs, the
price was within our budget and we figured it would be a nice addition to the gazebo as far
as the way that the color scheme matched. I opted for the gray and with this dining set you get six
chairs, beefy swivel chairs that actually hold up to 330 pounds and you also get the dining table.
So seven pieces all together. Right from the onset we knew this was going to be a DIY project or do
it yourself. So if you are wondering and maybe you're not very technically inclined when it
comes to assembling furniture and gear and hardware, well don't worry this was a very simple process.
And what I'm going to do now is just give you a general overview of what I did to get this
seven piece furniture set put together. I'm not going to give you a complete tutorial. The manual
does an excellent job. There really aren't that many pieces, it's just very repetitive.
It took me by myself about four hours to get everything together. The majority of the time
was invested in unboxing everything because everything is boxed very well. A lot of saran
wrap to protect the furniture. There were no dings, nothing was bent. So very happy about that.
So I placed my order, the packages arrived. It was actually FedEx that brought the packages, left them
in the front of my home. What I did from there was remove those boxes, bring them to my backyard,
set up a mock staging area where I unboxed everything and just put everything in order so
that it made it easier for me to look at the components, follow the manual and knew what went
where that much quicker. Now as far as tools, there are a couple allen keys that come included
with this set as well as a little flat wrench. If you want to save yourself a lot of time and
some aggravation, I definitely recommend using a drill driver with the right allen key bits.
I will place that information in the description if you want to go ahead and check that out a
little bit later. But if I didn't use the electric driver, I probably would have taken double the time
that I took to assemble this dining room set. I also chose to use my own adjustable wrench as
opposed to using the little one that came included in this set. As I mentioned, the assembly is
straightforward. There is a manual with pictures explaining everything. There aren't that many
different types of screws. Most of the pieces are also labeled. You'll see a little sticker on them
and they'll say C1 or C2. That makes it that much easier to be able to match up the pieces with the
instructions that are in the manual. I opted to start with the chairs since there were six chairs.
I figured, hey, get them over with. By the time I get to the table, it should be a breeze. Be sure
when you do tighten these screws down, leave them a bit loose. You want a little bit of wiggle room.
So definitely leave everything loose, get everything together, and then at the end, go ahead
and tighten all of the screws down. What I did find is that this set is put together very well.
Had some good welds, nice heavy metal. The chairs are made of the PE rattan, which looks like it
will last a while and actually looks pretty cool. The chair cushions have the olefin fabric.
They are movable thick cushions. They just adhere with a couple velcro straps and the covers on
these cushions are removable and machine washable. One other tidbit of advice is when it came time,
it was about the second to last step in putting the chairs together. Right before you put the
cushions on, there are about four nuts and bolts that need to be fastened. I opted for utilizing
my socket wrench because even though it was only four screws per chair, trying to use the adjustable
wrench was just taking way too long. So if you do have a socket set, I highly recommend utilizing it
for that portion of the assembly. I was down to my last box. Each box had two chairs in it. There
was a total of three boxes for the chairs and one box for the table. Now that I had all six chairs
put together, it was time to assemble the table. I went ahead and opened up the box, used the
cardboard actually as a protective layer from the cement and from the pavers on the ground. I didn't
want anything getting dinged up or scratched while I was assembling it. The dining table was a breeze
to put together, especially compared to the chairs. There are basically four legs that needed to be
screwed in as well as the bottom support base. So the table itself maybe took me a total of 20
minutes. Now the table did have a very good look to it. Sturdy drainage for rain and a hole with a
cover in case you do utilize an umbrella. It also has the rattan built into the sides and into the
corner which matches the chairs perfectly, giving it a very nice overall look. And that was pretty
much it as far as the installation. Relatively painless. Did take some time but that is expected
especially when you have seven pieces worth of furniture. These chairs do turn and swivel which
is a very nice addition and I did mention earlier holds up to 330 pounds. Now I will put my affiliate
link in the description as well as a couple other links as I mentioned for additional tools. If you
do use my affiliate link, I appreciate that and there is also a discount that will be affixed to
that affiliate link. So if you do order, be sure to take advantage of that. My wife and I are still
debating whether we're going to use the older wooden table that we had there because we are
pretty attached to that table. It's been with us for a while and then keep the separate dining
table that we just put together as additional space for when guests do come over. So still a
lot of things up in the air, still a lot of cleaning, a lot of painting, a lot of putting
together things in my near future. So what I will do is probably in a month or so put another video
together with the final let's say setup that we ended up choosing. So if you are interested in
that, be sure to subscribe, hit the notification, follow along. So bottom line, if you are looking
for an outdoor dining set, seven total pieces, looks good, built to last, a simple DIY project
that you can accomplish in an afternoon by yourself, definitely take a look at this outdoor dining set
from Permapick.
