Let's find out together First pitch of the season 95 from a juiced up Trevor Rogers. It's a little inside an opening day as you could ask for here 76 degrees as Martin skies the ball to the new center fielder Colton Couser drifting back It's a windy one to start when he's not leading off. But I mean, what do you tend to leave off home runs last year? Fastball from Rogers puts him away because of concerns over the challenges Ground ball is fisted to shortstop Gunner Henderson perfect in it for Trevor Rogers on this career high Or to the breaking ball lifts one to shallow left Brooks Lee the twins starting shortstop this year and Henderson grounds the ball over to first base He's retired and it's time to meet the new guy 128 of those 194 with his fastball That's how good it is strikes out Pete on a curveball down on three strikes Joe Ryan spoils the party in the Orioles first Lee flashing signs downstairs Swing and a miss. He carved him up with a curve and Rogers has a big strikeout boys Victor Caratini First baseman today for the twins punches a ball to Taylor Ward and left for out number two While the twins didn't have a great offensive year Hang on do by a Rutschman Rogers Leaves it loaded Far man have a game plan when you go to the plate that you get the picture looking for get your a swing off This balls up to the air to right field sending Walner in front of the warning track He puts fastballs anybody see you got the two in the four seam fastball Joe Ryan throws 62% fastballs the ball zips over to Caratini at first and now he's got a proof he can lock down center field Out in front of this curveball Couser puts it up in the air to Walter again, right and that ends the inning after two Martin a leadoff man with a big lead at first. He is running Rutschman is throwing and Martin is safe First stolen base of the year to last year the ground ball to the left side gobbled up by Mayo goes to second one In his first test at third base this season, that's all something on the internet on him the other days I just tried to catch the ball with my bad. It's as simple as just catching the ball with the bat Mayo gets bent down in a curveball, but one of the shortstop position blaze Alexander can play shortstop as well strikes out here and Joe Ryan and Trevor Rogers And let's not forget to Jim you always talk about this and I love it to the extension is really good to six feet eight Inches of extension towards home plate, which is a lot better than most And he's gonna one two, three, please snap the glove up Ground ball to third Mayo's turn one double play already There's another five four three who had good defensive seasons last year Boy, have they worked it in the right from Lewis Tyler O'Neill in the sunshine makes the catch Bill they still have Joe Ryan who's under contract for two more years Breaking ball and Henderson is called for a swing And he's punched out best year batting average best year RBI. Well second best RBI 13 to right field He has struck out twice today a big sweeping around 4.1 in 2025 Breaking ball strike three Basile will challenge 4k resolution all-new sound system as well Rogers buries a changeup and buries Lee for a strikeout for Trevor well, not as good as last year, but the results are that's Good pitchers figure out a way to get you out and Rogers will get there a little show your career high Buxton with a pop-up Pete Alonso backpedaling onto the green grass We'll get there and a one two three fifth inning guard and 2024 O'Neill gets under this ball to Shallow center and the shortstop Lee will make the play. Yeah, I think this spring training. How far will he go? Beautiful back foot breaking ball a pitch that Mayo trying to be the lid lifter down at third Alexander to right center field up in the air Walner tracks it Walner makes the catch On the run at the the bars that you will find behind both the first and third baselines our temperature Controlled so the beverages are always going to stay ice cold. You love to hear it We've talked about how warm it is today plenty to love Game a little spring training under his belt Jeffers with a pop-up Well, he hit it to the right side But he hit it in the air to Alexander rest of the game one one pitch Walner a chopper back to Rogers and he'll get the out at first. Maybe you need the perfect pitch to Bell or you pitch around It was the perfect pitch He twisted him up like a pretzel. He only has one strikeout and anything else was a fastball Ward In the left center field a little off the end of the bat And Buxton runs it down at the edge of the track question mark Thunderbird to Henderson and a ground ball picked by Karatini the converted catcher for outnumbered to challenge rates Skyrocketed it in the ninth inning in the later innings Groundball Brooks Lee goes the short way two outs for Thunderbird after what former number one overall pick Melissa ground ball flare to short Henderson flips Alexander turns the Orioles third double play today was seven in the opener And Brooks Lee with a ground ball to short Henderson again Trevor Rogers right where a lot Took a lot of extra bases went first to third often in spring And Couser hits a fly ball to left field Martin ranging into the corner makes the catch in fair territory Basaya will come in to score and the Orioles strike first in 2026 on a Colton Couser Seventh innings didn't matter with Basaya being aggressive getting third and now Mayo Sends the ball sky-high And a left center field a long run for Buxton to make the play You know, it's a team that doesn't really hatch here about full roar before the game Alexander punches it up the middle for a base hit on the arounds third to score and blaze Alexander's first Oriole hit brings it a run to make it tune up is around the league Alexander's on the run as Ward grounds a ball to the left side and Lewis throws him out The Orioles do damage three hits is good. The difference maker for him is that changeup? That was the last pitch that he just threw there's another so back-to-back changeups He collects the first out of the inning and the other thing he's not gonna break your heart by walking somebody in relief One one Buxton lashes one to left field that's down for a hit and pass Ward Byron Buxton will have the first extra base hit of the season. He's going for three and he is in there sliding with a triple so the buck truck Open for a healthy year He launches this ball to left field Ward will get to it It's a sacrifice fly to bring in Buxton Here's the 1-2 struck him out swinging Challenge this well slides away Anderson is swept away for strike three Alonso to center field sending Buxton back Buxton at the wall Will make the catch Yeah, there you go yanked into left field Rutschman has a two-hit game And it'll be the Orioles first extra base hit this season and Adlai Rutschman double the new extra base hit silly Masayo in the left field Hangs up there for Cody Clemens and an opening day 2026 the Orioles will take a one-run lead into the ninth inning is 2-2 for Walner strike three 100 And not only that I mean Walters had some good at bat on a 2-2 Hensley Destroys him Now come on now 101. Are you kidding me? See if Alvin tries to get to second Not running here strike one called the learning Already thick with tension in Baltimore. Oh one strike two Slider keeping it in front ball squirts away tie and run now in scoring position 1-2 pitch struck him out swinging the Orioles Unleash Hensley and they win on opening day again
