Shohei Ohtani collects his first hit of the 2026 MLB season! 大谷翔平ハイライト

This guy struggled a little bit last year giving up the home run so that one of the things that he has to try to do with his highly potent offense is keep the ball in the ballpark. Shohei Ohtani sidesteps a fastball two nights ago he just for fun in the freeway series he threw an 11 strikeout performance just to ramp up get ready for this at bat and a full season now again oral of him on the mound and at the plate and talking to Dave Roberts the most impressive thing about Shohei and his preparation for the season was the non disruption of the WBC how he came back into Dodger camp and just dominated with the bat and with the arm I mean he's won three straight MVPs four of the last five years he's now a published children's author as well to add to the mantle and every video that you see there is a keepsake for Ben I mean it is very much like when the Beatles played here at Dodger Stadium the ghostwriter for decoy that's upstairs on a four seat fastball two and two it's called decoy saves the day with Shohei Ohtani now official published author along with being the best baseball player and the most versatile baseball player on the planet and he launches a pull side single to open the Dodgers offense in 20 twenty six well he got a knuckle curve there right in the center part of the plate look at that swing just a beautiful swing by Ohtani this guy is unbelievable all the things that he can do on the baseball field that curve ball got hit around some for Zach Galin last year.
