Desert Jet Storm 2025 was a huge success with 75 registered pilots and over 100 jets. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather. A lot of impressive jets along with expert pilots joined from all over the country.

All right, let's have a pause meeting at the flagpole.
Flagpole.
All right, welcome to day four of the Speed World Jet Rally.
Yesterday was fantastic.
I don't know about you, but I had a great time yesterday.
There was a lot of flying, a ton of pilots on the day.
It was just a great day yesterday with the weather.
I think we'll be the same today.
Here we have BVM team pilots Addison Clark and his son Josh Clark.
Guys, you have some beautiful planes here.
Can you tell us what you've got?
Well, the orange one here is a BVM Desperado.
And I got my Blue Angel Ultrabanded Evo and guided by JR Propo.
Very nice.
Yeah, having a great time out here at Speed World Jet League.
And I got my BVM 1-5th F-16 over there with a 300 motor in it.
So we went 300 and it was guided by JR as well.
Very nice.
Well, Addison is a retired Army helicopter pilot.
And Josh is currently in the Air Force Academy.
When it comes time for graduation, if you could write your own ticket,
what would you like to be flying?
I'm hoping to fly an F-16 just like my model over there.
It flies really good and it's my favorite airplane.
So if I get the chance, I'm hoping I can fly F-16s before they go away.
It's a pretty old airframe, but I would love to get the chance to fly the F-16.
Well, after seeing you fly that, as a taxpayer, I want to see you in that cockpit.
Thanks, Rich.
Thanks, guys. Appreciate it.
Appreciate it.
Here's CARF Team Pilot Jordan Factor.
Jordan, thank you for making the drive here to Speed World from California.
Sure.
We have a lot of expert pilots here.
They're excellent pilots, but you're one of the few that I say are the expert pilots.
You really put on a great show.
How do you like this Diablo?
I just told everyone that when I die, I want to be buried with it.
It is my favorite airplane I've ever flown.
I cannot get enough.
We brought a full trailer full of airplanes,
and somehow I don't feel motivated to take any of them else out
except for the Diablo.
I just love it. I can't get enough.
Well, when you do some crazy things with the thrust vectoring,
you make me gasp, but I know you've got full control,
and it is exciting to watch.
I'm happy that it's exciting.
I like to keep it looking like it's in control so it's a little bit less exciting,
but I think actually the thing that I like about the Diablo is that
it's not just a vector.
It flies amazing knife edge. It flies great pattern.
So when the pattern gets busy, the day gets busy,
I'm happy to just fly it in circles, knife edging, flow.
It just does everything, and that's, I think, the appeal to me.
For a 2-meter jet, it flies like something much larger.
It's very stable. It does exactly what you tell it to do.
Thank you.
Of course. Thank you.
Have fun today.
Here we have Rob Lynch, assistant general manager of BVM Jets,
and I'm admiring your quarter-scale F-16 here,
and boy, it flies great.
What can you tell us about it?
Thank you. So this is our prototype.
Some of the guys have actually seen it out in the field before.
We had it at Kentucky Jets.
We had a little accident with that at Kentucky Jets,
and we're on flame out. We've got that resolved now.
We've moved on.
The airplane flies amazing well.
It has a very broad envelope of flights.
All of our flights that you may have seen out there,
they're all on 300-class engines.
There's not a gigantic 400 in this or anything like that.
The airplane's got a 66-pound dry weight.
It's 88 pounds wet with fuel only,
and then it's 94 pounds wet with fuel and smoke.
The airplane holds 9 liters of fuel.
It does fly on spectrum.
There's no fancy setup in there.
It's a single-spectrum receiver with synapse on a single IX-20
with a couple of receiver batteries and one ECU pack.
It's a very simple plane jam setup.
It's reliable. It works. It flies great.
And so far, we've been having a lot of fun with it.
It's a joy to fly.
We do have another version coming,
which will be our demo for 25,
but we are still currently waiting
because, like a lot of guys that wait for their planes,
we actually have to wait for ours too.
So don't feel bad.
Thanks, Rob.
Beautiful jet.
When you said the weight, it doesn't fly heavy.
It flies great.
It's got a lot of size.
It's a lot of airplane for the weight, if you can believe that.
Thanks again, Rob.
You're welcome. Thank you.
Here's CARF rep Elad Fish.
Beautiful flight with your MAX.
Thank you very much.
Do you have any tips for people that are building a Rebel MAX?
Yeah. Actually, I have a website.
It's elad.fish, E-L-A-D dot F-I-S-H.
There's lots of videos and pictures
and how to build and set up tips
on how to build a MAX.
Okay, great. Thank you.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
You too.
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take
Is the longest ride
If today was your last day
And tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your name
Or would you say goodbye?
If today was your last day
Against the grain
Should be your way of life
The fight every second counts
Cause there's no second try
So live like you've lived twice
Don't take the free ride
If today was your last day
And tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye?
Leave old pictures in the past
Donate every night
There's so many more reasons
Don't you forget
Cause we're a gift
Today was your last day
Would you make a name
The broken
Of the two left
Cause you can't
If it was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Or would you live each moment like your last
Leave old pictures in the past
Donate every night
And would you call on friends you've never seen
Reminisce old memories
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one
You spin me right round, baby, right round
Like a record, baby, right round, round, round
You spin me right round, baby, right round
Like a record, baby, right round, round, round
You spin me right round
You spin me right round, baby, right round
You spin me right round
