Hey guys, Jen here from Karma Projects. Come have a look at my latest project, Zoe.
So the word Zoe is Greek, meaning life. For us as a family, it signifies a new life stage for us.
The inspiration behind Zoe was very much geared towards Belgian design. It's letting the natural
materials, the natural lighting, the tactility, it's very grounding and calm and quite timeless.
So with the entry hallway, I wanted to bring the feature bricks in from the outside. We've got the
planters with the plants growing really quickly that will eventually spill over these feature
bricks. There's a lot of moments and vignettes that I have incorporated within the design.
There's a lot of detail, but none of it is loud.
So coming into the guest suite, we've got the view straight out to the swimming pool.
One of the main hero moments in this guest suite is this outdoor sunken bath. I think it is
absolutely magical when the daylight hits it. And I've used the ABI limestone mosaics. The
antique slate just pairs so beautifully with it. With the master bedroom, I intentionally
created this wall that resembles an entry to a hotel room. So to further this hotel feel,
I've kept the room very open planned with the hero piece being this round Ukiyo bathtub.
With the kitchen, I really wanted a very minimal, almost like a canvas style kitchen.
I've continued that theme with the feature bricks. Coming to the fireplace, we're not much of a TV
family, so that just gave us the opportunity to really run with that minimal theme here.
We're really big on hosting and having barbecues, and it was really important for
us to have the alfresco space directly connected to the living space.
One of my favorite features for the outdoor areas is this sunken fire pit area. Together
with that glass divider, just seeing into the pool is just a whole other dimension to the space.
So here in the media room, I've gone with the color drenching. The hero moment of this space
is this window bench seat here. I absolutely love Palm Beach. The community is just amazing.
Everyone's so friendly. The cafes and restaurants, it's only growing, so yeah,
we absolutely love it here.
