Yes she is she's just right there we all packed up and good to go look at my hair I tried to find hairdresser in this town and no one wanted to do my hair the story of my life that's all right hopefully we'll get it done in the next couple of days but the plan for today is to go to the pacific ocean which is only like 30 kilometers from here so it's going to be an easy hot ride and I hope at the end we'll be able to camp and enjoy the pacific ocean it's been a while so long Leon I enjoyed the city so much history here right on let's go this way Chillie this guy is skilled wow good balance last 12 kms we'll be doing on dirt let's slow down for the horsey let's slow down for the people nice fast travel yeah our road is that way but I want to see these pools what the farming what is it is it sea salt farm I don't know farm we call it farm I don't know or is it I reckon it's sea salt what do you think I think so well looks like a big operation anyway I just wanted to see it let's turn around and stick to our route okay this way yeah it is sea salt see there are a few piles of salt oh this is so interesting how they extract salt from the seawater right there are pools everywhere I remember when I was working in Western Australia in Pilbara back in the days in mining industry so and there was this massive pile of sea salt uncovered right it was just like a big white dune it was quite unreal and I always wondered why it doesn't melt in the rain season you know because in Pilbara there's a cyclone season it rains like crazy and I'm thinking why how come it's not melting where are we Chile oh suddenly the road is getting more narrow let's see this is some kind of village yes anyway so many questions I can't answer maybe you guys see so many pools of the sea salt oh wait wait I have to see I have to see it wow I show you such large crystals huh interesting okay all right let's taste it okay I'll tell you I'll tell you if it's true salt yeah it's salt my mouth is salty now we are not too far from our final destination actually apparently there is like a beach camp 350 meters from here so let's see I think it's just like a camping in a village sort of scenario oh we have arrived like where? I don't think so yeah I think it's just someone's private property and this looks like the road is getting one narrower and maybe end of the road there yeah nah okay well I don't think this is a good place maybe we should go to some more like more touristy destination oh oh or maybe we should go to a hotel this looks nice for $30 with a pool I think I want to I want that one let's go there so okay my GPS was saying I'm supposed to go there but I think we're going to use this other road yeah because that looks like a sea salt factory or whatever you call it okay well my GPS is saying take this road I guess we can take this one that looks like a cool road so we're going sort of along the pacific ocean now we're heading south along the coast another 10k on this road cool adventure ride today I had no idea we'd be doing adventure riding today actually so cool so far every day we've been doing off-road so you see that's that's how they do it they make those pools very shallow and then water evaporates and leaves the crystals of the salt in the pools I think this is how it goes trust me I'm an engineer I think this is it this is the hotel it's fine I'm not sure maybe next one on the right I should probably ask it's like no sign no sign that this is a hotel oh my hair I'm trying to I'm trying to get some shade right so we are we are here we made it this is my little house but it's not ready because it's still like 9am so I'm gonna leave Chillie here under this tree and we're gonna go for a swim first things first pacific ocean I'm back how are you pacific ocean it's been a while look at this beach it's empty wow and the sand is so I'm all by myself here I love it we're doing it actually it's my it's quite coolish which is a surprise because it was very warm in El Salvador maybe they have some cold current going through so nice room is ready let's go okay I'm gonna have a break I'm so organized for your kickstand there you go mate now you're out of the sun the cabana is amazing I have to show you now oh yeah you have to see this you have to see this it's insane there you go here we go this is my cabana bright flash fancy and here I have outdoor shower with the mirror interesting I also have a fridge don't mind my mess I have a cooking stove a fan and the view this is unreal and all of that for 30 US dollars unreal this place this is exactly what I needed just to chill on the remote beach somewhere nice but I just had no idea I'm gonna have such a premium accommodation for such a low price this is Nicaragua I must say has the best quality for the price you know it's not so expensive because I'm expecting Costa Rica will be expensive but Nicaragua prices here are quite low you know where to come for cheap holidays and the sun is going down and Chillie is just parked underneath
