Prepare 4mm cotton yarn and a 5mm crochet hook and make sure to watch until the end
it gives us so much motivation.
Let's get started and enjoy crocheting together.
For Row 1, chain 34, skip the first chain, then make 33 single crochets across.
Turn your work.
Great start.
Take your time.
The foundation row sets up the whole project.
Row 2, working in the back loops only, chain 1, make 6 single crochets.
Now we create our first peak.
Work 1 W stitch, continue with 9 single crochets, another W, 9 single crochets, 1 more W, and
finish with 6 single crochets.
Beautiful.
The zigzag shape is beginning to form.
Tip, keep your tension even, so the peaks look sharp.
Row 3, still in the back loops only, chain 1, crochet 7 single crochets.
Now repeat this cluster 2 times.
W stitch, 4 single crochets, 1 decrease, 4 single crochets.
After repeating twice, add a W stitch and finish with 7 single crochets.
You're doing amazing.
The texture is growing nicely.
Row 4, back loops only, chain 1, make 8 single crochets.
Repeat the same cluster twice.
W, 4 single crochets, decrease, 4 single crochets, add another W, and finish with 8 single crochets.
Keep going.
Your zigzags are getting stronger.
For row 5, chain 1, and make 9 single crochets.
Repeat the cluster twice, W, 4C, deck, 4C.
Add one more W stitch, and finish with 9 single crochets.
Great job, your panel now has depth and shape.
Row 6 to 16 will continue building the height.
For each row, increase 1 single crochet evenly on each side, but keep the center zigzag cluster
the same.
W, 4C, decrease, 4C, repeated twice.
Don't rush, enjoy the rhythm.
You've reached the relaxing part of the project.
Tip, use stitch markers to mark increases so both sides stay symmetrical.
Row 17, back loops only, chain 1, and make 21 single crochets.
Then repeat the cluster twice, W, 4C, decrease, 4C, add one more W, and finish with 21 single
crochets.
This row widens the panel beautifully, you're almost there.
Let's create the base.
Start with a magic ring, then make 8 single crochets in the back loops only, slip stitch
to join, and turn.
Nice and tight, this forms a sturdy center.
Row 2, chain 1, now repeat this 4 times, 1 single crochet, then 1 W stitch, turn.
This creates a lovely rounded rectangle.
Now that all the pieces are ready, it's time to sew everything together.
Take your time aligning the edges for a clean, professional look.
Once assembled, you'll have a stunning zig-zag pattern handbag, handmade by you.
Congratulations, you did it.
