Father-Son Elk Scouting Mission 1st Sleep in the Go Fast

I got the heart of a champion. Friends, welcome to the channel. We are in Montana today as a master bladesmith myself. I've taught a guy named Josh Smith everything I know he's now a master bladesmith under my tutelage and I figured why not give you guys full access you might have heard of it. It's pretty small startup but we're headed there right now. We're also doing some scouting. I'm also doing a road trip with my boy Tristan. He's literally my boy. Hello. And I want to show Tristan what it's like like he's at that age of eight that he kind of knows what I do for work. He knows I'm a crazy hunter. I just want to get him introduced. He's not necessarily into hunting, but I want to just get him outdoors. And that's what we're going to do bring you guys along. What's one thing you're most excited about? Probably sleeping in that. And we were working in that building with, you know, two employees. Yeah, so we started in 20. We built this in 22. And we moved in here January 1 of 23. This is the sharpening area. It's like your nose. These are dropping on Thursday. Yeah. So they wheel in here and then they get sharpened. So in here we're doing like laser marking of the blades logos. So we can put different people's marks on them and even do like some help if we ever want to put like elk shape on the knife or something like that. We can laser right on them. You're being stupid. Not being to that. None of this area here, nothing in here did we even own 18 months ago. So we've been adding processes as we grow to the shop. And then, frankly, having to learn how to do it. Kind of through trial and error. It's been kind of wild. Like when I was over in that garage, this was being done in a different state. This was being done like in Texas. We brought all the sheet making stuff in house, all the handle make handle making we're bringing in. It's been kind of a cool. Love it. It's cutting. It's milling. Employee reviews right now. So every quarter we do a review of every single person in the shop and just try to give them feedback. Oh, you know, Tristan's first BB gun. Oh, baby. Red, you're dead. And then I will probably leave a camera or two out here because I am going to antelope hunt this year here. I may if this camera's fire, we'll put one here.
