Hi, I'm from Pam's Flower Garden, and today we're going to make a little hand-tied bouquet,
and this is kind of a new style that we're doing, very bohemian, wild and loose, very unlike
bouquets of a few years ago where everything was tight and close together. We're going to do
something with a little more movement in it. Right now I'm putting some beautiful Italian
ruscus in here, and it'll give me that nice play. See how we've got the nice jiggle on here?
All the brides are wanting this kind of thing right now.
And we're going to use some roses in here and some nice hydrangea.
I'm going to put a few more leaves in, cover up my mechanics. That looks nice,
so that's a good start. So we've got some nice flow with the ruscus.
Now I'm going to put some green hydrangea in, which is a great color. These little mini lime
hydrangeas are so cute, they're really pretty. Let's see what I'm doing here. I'm just spreading
the flowers out. So here's some beautiful free spirit roses that's got a really gorgeous color,
and it can go with peach or pink, a lot of different color tones that will work with really nicely.
You can see how much looser this bouquet is than what's been going on in the last
number of years with bouquets. And we've got some really cool air ferns here,
because air ferns and succulents are also really quite big right now. So we're going
to put a few of those in just for some textural interest, which makes things kind of fun.
So I've wired those so we can kind of place them where we want to,
you can see the difference right there. Now I've got a really beautiful soft peachy pink rose,
I'll put that in too. So when you're doing scale for these, you want some big flowers,
some little flowers, and stuff with interest. So if you have some cool greenery, that always looks
nice. Okay, so there's kind of a basic idea of what we've got going on. And we're going to do
some berries in here. Just again, it's another shape, a little different shape. It's going to
give a little bit more interest in there as well to put some berries in. Sometimes you get quite
a handful holding on to all of this, you can always take a rest, tie it off and take a rest
if you want to. So that's coming along kind of nicely, getting a nice shape on there.
All right, so there's kind of the start of the bouquet, starting to fill in really nicely.
And here we've got some absolutely gorgeous Caspia. And again, it's going to give you that
really, really nice flow and movement in the bouquet, you can see how it really gives it
it's like it's dancing, which is really, I think, very pretty.
A little bit over here, you can see how just adding that it just creates a little bit different
shape and texture as well. Then I've got some bells of Ireland, so we're going to try
try those too, because again, it will give us some texture and some shape, a little more play.
What's going on with that?
Now we've got some other greens here too, again, lots of play and movement with this,
going to do a little bit of English Ivy just coming out on the sides and the bottom.
That there, almost make it like a focal point down here. We've got some weight with it. And again,
you can see the movement, how pretty that is with the movement. And then you've got some just
regular Israeli Ruscus, which is a little bit different shape than the Italian, a little bit
bigger, but again, a nice textural shape. I think I'm pretty much done. But you can see, like I said,
compared to other bouquets from a few years ago, how much more movement this has gotten. And it's
just got a lot going on, a lot of in and out, some nice hanging stuff, nice texture with the
Tillandsia and the Bells of Ireland and the Hypercumberees, just a really, really pretty
bouquet. So we're going to try and do a few more of these videos. So stay tuned and keep watching
us. And I hope you really enjoy this. Okay, thanks for watching.
