Hi and welcome to the cryptocurrency course where you will learn about cryptocurrencies
and how to use them. So let's go ahead and see what I'm going to cover in the course.
And first off you will learn what is cryptocurrency and how the blockchain works
in a simplified manner. Then I will show you how to use CoinMarketCap website and
research cryptocurrencies and how to buy and sell cryptocurrency using the Binance Exchange.
Once done with that I will teach you what is staking and how to stake your tokens on Binance
and PancakeSwap which is a decentralized exchange. Then you will learn how to withdraw
your cryptocurrency to other exchanges and bank accounts. And I will also cover a more advanced
topic where I will show you how to use leverage trading which amplifies your buying or selling
power allowing you to trade with more money than you actually have in your wallet.
And lastly I will show you how to create a secure USB wallet using a USB stick and how to restore
your wallet on a different computer. So thanks for watching and I will see you inside the course.
Hi and welcome to the first lecture where you will learn what is cryptocurrency and why use it.
So cryptocurrency is a digital payment system that doesn't rely on banks or other institutions
to verify transactions. It's a peer-to-peer system which enables anyone, anywhere to send and
receive payments. Unlike the US dollar or the euro there is no central authority that maintains the
value of a cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency receives its name because it uses encryption
which is a technology called public-private key cryptography.
Now if you own cryptocurrency you don't own anything physical. What you own is a key that
allows you to move a record or a unit of measure from one person to another without a trusted third
party or a middleman. Okay now let's see what drives the value of cryptocurrency. So like all
goods and services the value of cryptocurrency comes from supply and demand. Supply refers to
how much is available like how many units are available to buy and demand refers to how many
people want the coin. Now if there is increased demand and lower supply available for something
the value will rise and if there is increased supply or lower demand the value will drop.
Basically this is how the price of cryptocurrency is determined. Now let's see some reasons on why
you should use cryptocurrency and the first reason is that cryptocurrency cannot be manipulated by
any central authority. No matter what happens to a government your crypto will remain secure.
Also digital currency provides equal opportunity regardless of where you were born or where you
live because if you have an internet connected device you have the same crypto access as
everyone else. And when you pay with cryptocurrency you don't need to provide personal information
which means your information is protected from being shared with third parties.
And lastly with cryptocurrency you can transfer value online anytime in the day
near instantly for low fees. So that's it for now thanks for watching and I will see you next time.
Hi and welcome back. In this video you will learn what is blockchain and how does it work.
So blockchain is a shared ledger for recording transactions. Blockchain stores information in
blocks which are linked together forming a chain of data known as the blockchain.
Now here I have an example of a block which is composed of a block number, the nonce that stands
for number ones, data and the hash. The hash is a fingerprint of some digital data. So if I type
abc you can see the hash has changed and if I add more letters the hash will change every time I make
a modification. So basically the hash is a digital fingerprint of whatever data is here and every time
you put the same data you get exactly the same hash. Now in order for the block to be valid you
need to have a hash that starts with four zeros. So if I make any changes to the block by adding
some numbers you can see I get a completely different hash that doesn't have four zeros.
So to make the block valid you need to find a nonce number that generates a hash with four zeros
and to do that I will click the mine button. This process is called mining and basically the computer
will try different numbers from one to all the way up to find a number which has a hash that
starts with four zeros and you can see it was really easy to find in this case because the
difficulty level is very low compared to the bitcoin mining process. So to understand better I will go to
blockchain.com slash explorer and here you can see live the latest transactions and blocks from the
bitcoin network. So I'll click on the last block and here the hash starts with more zeros compared
to the first example. This means the difficulty mode has increased over the years and it's much
harder to find the nonce number that generates a hash with so many zeros. So thanks for watching
and I will see you next time. Hi and welcome back. In this lesson I will show you how the blocks are
linked together in blockchain. So here I have a small blockchain with five blocks and the difference
here is that now I have another field called prev which is the hash of the previous block
and you can see this previous hash here is the same as this one. So each block points backwards
to the one before it and this is how blocks are linked together using cryptography. Okay now I
will make a modification in this block by adding some numbers and you can see the blocks are no
longer valid because the hash has changed. So if you make a simple modification to a block you will
break the chain. Basically this works like a domino effect and this is how blockchain will resist
modification or any other changes. So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Okay so
welcome back. In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to use coinmarketcap which is a price
tracking website for crypto assets. Now I'm not going to cover all the options because will take
too much time but feel free to play around with any option that you may find interesting.
Okay now let's select a coin from this list and in my case I will choose Solana for this example
and here you can see a lot of information like how many people are watching this coin,
the official website solana.com, explorers, community links to find updates on the project,
the chat and the source code. This means that the project is open source if I'm not mistaken
and the whitepaper which explains the purpose and technology behind the project.
Then you have the market cap. This is the total market value of this cryptocurrency
and very important here is the volume. Basically the volume is how many people bought and sold
this coin in the last 24 hours and then you have the circulating supply of coins that are
circulating in the market and down here is a basic chart with the price in the last day but you can
change it to 7 days, 1 month, 3 months or all and if you want to see where this coin is available to
buy click market and here you can see the exchanges where you can buy or sell Solana.
Okay now let's go back to the home page and click on customize and by default is set to classic but
I like to use price change because I can see the price changes in the last hour for all the coins
and click apply changes and you can see the one hour price indicator has been set
successfully. Now if you want to find coins who made the biggest gains in the last hour
just click the one hour and here are the coins with the highest gains in the last hour and if
you click one hour again you will see coins with the lowest gains. You can do the same process for
24 hours, 7 days or 1 month. Now another very useful option on this website is the search area
because if you want to find a specific coin you can do it here. So let's say for example I'm
looking for Stellar and select the coin so this feature is useful if you want to find a coin
and lastly I want to cover the coin converter so I will go to products and select converter
and in the first field put the amount of the coin and in my case I will put 0.5 and select Solana
and this is how much I will get in US dollars for 0.5 Solana and you can also change the fiat
currency to euro or whatever currency you want. So that's it for now thanks for watching and I will
see you next time. Hi and welcome back in this lesson I will show you some tips on how to research
cryptocurrencies. So here I have basic attention token to use as an example for research and the
first thing I like to do is to look up for information on the project website by clicking
basicattentiontoken.org. Now here you will see a general introduction of the project and what this
crypto project is about. Also I recommend to look for team members so I'll go to team and here are
the members and the founder and CEO of this project is Brandon which is the creator of JavaScript.
Now I recommend to search these names on Google or YouTube because there are scam websites that can
easily invent some names. Okay so the next tip is to look for the whitepaper so I'll go to the home
page and click whitepaper. The whitepaper describes the purpose and technology of the project basically
this is a summary of what they are trying to do so make sure to read the whitepaper before investing
in a coin. Okay now I'll go back to coinmarketcap and a very important tip is to look at the volume
trading. Personally I like to invest in a project with at least 10 million dollars because a coin
with a higher trading volume reflects a more established coin with a solid base. And the last
tip is to check the social presence of the cryptocurrency by going to twitter.com and here
you can see how many people are following basic attention token and new updates on the project.
So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Okay so welcome back in this lesson I'm
going to show you how to use Binance Exchange to buy and trade cryptocurrencies. So first off you
need to create an account and log in. I already did this process and next you need to buy some
crypto using fiat currency and to do that go to buy crypto and select credit debit card if you want
to buy instantly. And here enter the amount and press continue and you will see how much BTC you
will receive for 100 euros, the payment method visa which is my credit card, the bitcoin price
and the transaction fees. And press confirm if you are okay with the order. Now I'm not
going to click confirm because I need to log in to my home bank account and confirm the transaction.
Once you confirm the order go to wallet and select fiat and spot and here you can see all
the cryptocurrency that you own and if you have bought bitcoin the balance will be updated here.
Okay now let's see how to trade one cryptocurrency for another. So I will go to trade and select
advanced and here you can see a lot of information but don't worry because everything is quite easy
to understand. Now the first thing you need to do is to choose your trading pair so at the moment
is bitcoin us dollar tether but you can change it to a different pair.
So I will search for bnb usdt and select the pair. Now the next thing you need to look at
is the order book. The order book is a list of buy and sell orders for an asset.
The orders with color red show sell orders while the orders in green show buy orders.
Okay now let's see how to buy bnb using my usdt balance which you can see here
and by default the order type is set to limit. A limit order is a order to buy or sell at a
specific price. So I'm going to use my whole usdt balance and press buy bnb and down here you can
see I have an open order which is not filled. So if the market price comes to this price here
then the order will be automatically executed but I won't wait so I will click cancel.
Now if you want to buy or sell cryptocurrency immediately select market and click buy and you
can see the order has been filled instantly. This order type is useful when you want to make a quick
trade without waiting. Next you have the stop limit which is a limit order that has a stop price
and this time I will select to sell but don't worry because the process is the same for buying
and selling. So I'll put a stop price limit price and use the max amount and press sell bnb.
So here you can see if the stop price is reached a limit order with this price will be placed
and press confirm if you are okay with the order and again down here you can see your order.
So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Hi and welcome back. In this lesson I will
show you how to use binance leverage tokens but first let's understand how these tokens work.
So let's say for example you have done your research in crypto and believe that bitcoin will
go up and in this case it will be better to buy BTC up because if the price of bitcoin goes up by
5% you will earn 10% or even more based on the real leverage which you can see here. Now 2x means
you will double your earnings 3x triple your earnings and so on up to 4x but if the price goes
down 5% and you have bought bitcoin up you will lose 10% or even more. Basically you are betting
on a coin to go up or down. Okay now let's see how to buy leverage tokens and to do that I will
go to trade and select spot and in the search bar I will type BTC down and select the token
then choose the order type. In my case I will use the limit order and use my whole USDT balance
and click buy BTC down and you can see the order has been filled and my BTC down balance has been
updated. Now if the bitcoin price goes down by 10% then I could sell my BTC down and make a 20%
profit or even more but if the price goes up I will lose more because I'm betting on BTC down.
So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Hi and welcome back in this lesson you will
what is a stablecoin. So a stablecoin is a cryptocurrency whose value is tied to an asset
such as the US dollar to maintain a stable price. This means that a single unit of a stablecoin is
worth exactly one dollar at all times. Stablecoins are designed to maintain a stable price even if
the crypto market or the economy is going down. So this makes stablecoins a great option to protect
from market volatility. Okay now let's see the most popular stablecoins and the first one is US
dollar Tether which is currently the top stablecoin according to CoinMarketCap. The second coin is
USDC which was launched in 2018 by the crypto exchange Coinbase and the third one is Binance
or USD. This stablecoin is founded by the largest crypto exchange Binance. Okay now let's switch to
Binance.com and see how to convert your crypto assets to stablecoins. So go to trade and select
Binance convert and here choose the cryptocurrency which you want to convert and let's say I want to
So I will select the coin, enter the amount and choose USD for the stablecoin. Then I will click
preview conversion and the convert button will appear in your case if you have enough balance.
Also you can see here there are no fees using Binance convert. Now I'll close this and if you
to convert to a different stablecoin you have the option to select USD Tether and the process
will be the same. So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Okay so welcome back.
In this video I will show you how to track your crypto using CoinMarketCap portfolio feature.
So first off make sure you are logged in. Then on the navigation bar click portfolio
and here click add new and select the cryptocurrency which you want to track.
In my case I will search for Zcash. Now by default is set to buy but you have the option to sell or
transfer the cryptocurrency. Also please remember this feature from CoinMarketCap will not buy
crypto using real money. This will only track your crypto assets. So this feature is useful
if you want to play around without using real money because you can test yourself and see your
trading performance. Okay so here enter the quantity so I will put 100 and you can also add a
fee and some notes if you want and click add transaction and down here you can see your assets
and the profit loss will be shown here. So thanks for watching and I will see you next time.
Okay so welcome back. In this video I will show you how to use PancakeSwap which is a
decentralized exchange built on the Binance Smart Chain. So first off you need to connect your wallet
to the exchange. Now if you don't have Metamask installed on your system go to metamask.io
and click download and you will see all the supported browsers and click install Metamask.
I already did this process so I'm not going to click install but don't worry because the
installation process is very easy. Once you have installed Metamask you should see the fox icon
up here. Okay now the next step is to go to PancakeSwap.finance and click connect wallet
and select Metamask and click approve to switch to Binance Smart Chain and switch network. Now if
I click on the fox icon you can see I'm on the Binance Smart Chain. So at this point you can
transfer some BNB tokens to the wallet and to do that go to fiat and spot on binance.com and look
for BNB and click withdraw. Then copy the address from Metamask wallet and paste it here. Also make
sure you are using BNB Smart Chain BEP20 and enter the amount. So in my case I will use the max
amount and click withdraw and here I will put my email verification code and authenticator code
and click submit. This process may take a few minutes to complete. Once done with that I will
go back to PancakeSwap and click on the fox icon and you can see the BNB balance has been updated.
Okay now let's see how to swap some tokens. So I will go to trade and select swap then I will search
for ADA Cardano and select the token and use the max BNB amount and click swap and then confirm the
swap. Once the transaction is complete go to your wallet and on the assets the balance for other
tokens is not showing by default. So you need to go to coinmarketcap slash currency slash Cardano
and click the fox icon to add to Metamask and add token. Now if you go to your wallet you will see
the ADA balance. So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Okay so in this video I will
show you how to stake cryptocurrency on Binance but first let's understand what is staking.
Staking is a process where users commit their crypto assets to the blockchain and involves
holding funds in a cryptocurrency wallet to maintain the operations of a blockchain network.
Also is a great way to generate passive income because some cryptocurrency offer high interest
rates for staking. Simply put staking is a way to put your crypto to work and earn rewards. Now when
you are staking your coins are still in your possession and you are free to unstake them later
if you want to trade them. Okay now let's switch to Binance and see how to put your crypto to work
and here go to earn and select simple earn and you can see some coins which you can stake for
a period of time. So in my case I will use Solana and select the duration or lockdown period to 60
days and you can see the APR has dropped. Also you can use the flexible option which will drop
the APR even lower but with the flexible option you can redeem your coins anytime.
So I will change back to 60 days and click subscribe and enter the amount and I will
use the max amount. Now here you can see the estimated interest which you will earn after 60
days. So I will agree with the terms and click confirm and the subscription has been successfully
added to the account and click view holding to see the coins which you have staked. Now if you
want to unstake the coins you can do that by clicking redeem earlier but please remember if
you are redeeming earlier you will lose the interest rate which you have earned and the
funds will take two days to arrive in your wallet. So if you're okay with that check the agreement
and click redeem earlier and you can see the date when the funds should arrive back to the wallet.
So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Hi and welcome back. In this lesson I will
show you how to calculate your crypto earnings from staking. So here you can see I have an APR
calculator. APR stands for annual percentage rate for those who don't know. Now let's see how to
use this tool to calculate your earnings. So let's say for example you have bought 100 Solana coins
and believe the price will go up in the future and you want to hold the coins for a long time.
So if you decide to stake the coins and see how much you will earn you can do that here on the
calculator by looking for Solana and enter the amount which is 100 and you can see how much you
will earn if you hold 100 Solana for one year. Now this percentage here is for one year. So to give
you an example I will search for BUSD which is the dollar from Binance and enter 100 for the amount
and you can see I'm not earning 20% in one month because 20% from 100 will be 20 dollars and I'm
only getting 1.64. Now if you calculate 1.64 with 12 months you will get 20 dollars which is 20%
for one year. So thanks for watching and I will see you next time. Okay so in this lesson I will
show you how to stake CAIC on PancakeSwap to earn more CAIC. So first off you need to have some CAIC
in your wallet or you can swap some BNB for CAIC by using your BNB balance. In my case I will use
the max BNB amount and search for CAIC PancakeSwap token and click swap and confirm and then confirm
again if you are okay with the transaction. Once done with that go to earn and select pools
and here you have flexible API and locked API. Flexible means you can unstake your CAIC tokens
anytime you want but you will earn less compared to the locked API. Now with locked staking you
will earn more but your CAIC tokens will be locked for a period of time. So if you click this icon
here it will show you a calculator and I will type 100 dollars and select 10 weeks and you can see
how much you will earn and you can increase your duration to 52 weeks to maximize your earnings.
Now here I'm on locked staking so if I switch to flexible you can see I will earn much less
compared to the locked staking. Okay now let's see how to stake CAIC. So go to details and here
select flexible or locked. So in my case I will select flexible but I recommend to use the locked
staking if you are planning to hold CAIC more than one month. Then I will use the max amount and click
confirm and confirm again and here you will see how much CAIC you have staked and the profit will
be shown here. Now if you want to unstake your tokens click this minus here select the amount
confirm and confirm the action and now the CAIC tokens are back to the wallet. So thanks for
watching and I will see you next time. Okay so in this lesson I will show you how to transfer crypto
to another exchange or wallet. So first off make sure you are on fiat and spot then scroll down
and select the coin which you want to transfer and if you want to transfer a small amount of money
I recommend to convert your crypto to litecoin or xlm because these coins have the lowest fees
compared to other coins. So in my case I will transfer litecoin by clicking withdraw and here
enter the address where you want to send the coin. So I will go to a different exchange called
and look for litecoin and go to the wallet address and copy the address and then paste it here on
binance and I will use the max amount and click withdraw. Now the withdraw has been submitted
and the litecoin balance should be updated in my uphold wallet in less than one hour. So thanks
for watching and I will see you next time. Hi and welcome back in this lesson I will show you how
to convert cryptocurrency to fiat currency and withdraw the funds to your bank account.
So first off go to trade and select binance convert and here you can convert your crypto
to other currencies like euro, dollars, bitcoin and so on with zero fees. So let's say I have
made a profit with litecoin and I want to sell it for euros. So to do that I will select litecoin
and enter the amount and convert to euros and click preview conversion and convert if I'm okay
with the transaction. Once done with that go to wallet and select fiat and spot and here you will
see your euro balance. So just click withdraw and select the withdraw method. In my case I will use
the bank card visa because I have a small amount of money but if you are withdrawing more than 100
euros I recommend bank transfer sepa. Okay so I will click continue and enter the amount
and you can see how much I will receive and click continue again and now the order has
been submitted and the money should be in the bank in less than one hour. So thanks for watching
and I will see you next time. Hi and welcome back in this lesson you will learn what is leverage
trading and how does it work. So leverage refers to using borrowed funds to make bigger profits
and it amplifies your buying or selling power allowing you to trade with more money than you
actually have in your wallet. The amount of leverage is described as ratio such as 5x 10x
20x 50x and so on up to 100x and even higher in some cases. Basically this shows you how many
times your money is multiplied. So for example imagine that you have 10 dollars in your account
and you want to open a position worth of 100 dollars in bitcoin. So with a 10x leverage
you can do that because your 10 dollars will have the same buying power as 100 dollars.
Okay now let's see an example of a long or buy position. So when you open a long position you
expect the price of an asset to go up. So imagine you want to buy 1000 worth of bitcoin with 10x
leverage. This means that you will need 100 dollars as collateral. Now if the price of
bitcoin goes up 10% you will earn 100 dollars which is much higher than the 10 dollars you
would have made if you traded without using leverage. However if the bitcoin price drops
or goes down 10% your position will be liquidated and you will lose your 100 dollars and in most
cases the exchange will send you an email before the liquidation happens. Okay so the next position
is the short or sell position where you believe the price of an asset will go down this time.
So again imagine that you want to open a short position of 1000 dollars worth of bitcoin
with 10x leverage and your collateral is 100 dollars. Now if the price of bitcoin goes down
10% you will double your money which is much better than losing 10 dollars with spot trading.
However if the bitcoin price rises or goes up 10% your position will be liquidated and you will
lose your money. So at this point it should be clear to you that leverage trading is a double-edged
sword that can multiply both your gains and losses and involves a high level of risk. So please
remember the higher the leverage the higher the risk of getting liquidated. So thanks for
watching and I will see you in the next video where I will show you how to use leverage trading
on binance. Okay so welcome back in this lesson you will learn how to use leverage trading on
binance. So to get started go to derivatives and select USDM futures and you'll be brought to the
interface. Now the first thing you need to do is to transfer some funds into the futures wallet
and to do that click the transfer icon here and in this box you can see I'm using my fiat and
spot wallet to transfer to the USDM futures wallet and the coin is US dollar tether.
So for the amount I will put one dollar and click confirm and you can see my balance has been
updated to one dollar. Now the next step is to select the pair so I will select bitcoin US
dollar tether and by default the margin mode is set to cross which means that all your balance
from the futures wallet will be used as collateral across all open positions. So in my case I prefer
isolated because if I get liquidated from a position it won't affect other assets from
my futures account. So I will select isolated and click confirm then you can adjust the leverage
which is set to 10x. So if you want to change the leverage click on the 10x here and you can see it
goes from 1x all the way up to 125x. So for this example I will adjust the leverage to 20x by
clicking the plus icon and click confirm and select the order type to market. So at this point
with one dollar I can buy up to 20 dollars worth of bitcoin because I'm using 20x leverage.
Okay so next you need to enter the size for the bitcoin and to make things easier I will go to
and here I will enter the bitcoin amount to convert to US dollars and you can see this amount
is worth 16 dollars and it should be okay because I can buy up to 20 dollars. So I'll copy the amount
and paste it here on Binance and the cost for this amount will be shown here for both positions.
Now if you believe the price of bitcoin will go up always select buy long. So I will click buy long
for this example and the market order has been filled and you can see it down here. This position
has a green bar which means that is a long position with 20x leverage in my case. Then you have the
and very important here is the liquidation price because if this price is reached then your
position will be liquidated and you will lose your money. Also you can see in real time your profit
and loss here and if you want to close your position just click market. Okay now let's see
how to open a short or sell position. So when you open a short position you expect the price of
bitcoin to go down. So I'll enter the size and click sell short and again down here you can see
the position and the liquidation price which is very important. So thanks for watching and I will
see you in the next video where I will show you other settings. Okay so welcome back. In this
lesson you will learn how to manage your risk using take profit and stop loss on your positions.
So all you have to do is click on this edit icon here and then set the take profit price.
Now when this price is reached the position will be automatically closed and the profit will be
one dollar in my case. Then enter the stop loss price to limit your losses. So I will put the
price and here you can see when this price is reached a stop market order will be placed and
I will lose 50 cents in this case. So I'll click confirm and now the order has been submitted
and to see the orders go to open orders tab and you will see the stop loss order and take profit.
Also if you want to cancel the orders click cancel all here and confirm. Okay now let's see how to
add funds to your position to avoid getting liquidated. So go to your balance here and click
the transfer icon and I will add one dollar and click confirm. Then go to positions and click the
edit icon. Now let's say for example the price of bitcoin is almost to this price here which is the
liquidation price and you don't want to be liquidated because you believe the price of bitcoin
will go down again. So you can avoid getting liquidated if this price is reached by adding
more funds. So if I add one dollar you can see the liquidation price will change and click confirm
and you can see the liquidation price has changed. So thanks for watching and I will see you next
time. Okay so welcome back. In this video I will show you how to use mock trading on Binance.
So first off make sure you are logged in into the futures account. Then click on your profile
and select mock trading. Now for those who don't know this is a testnet environment to practice
your trading skills without risking real money. So if you are a beginner I strongly recommend to
use mock trading because this is a simulation trading platform and you won't lose real money
if you do stupid actions here. Okay now if you want to take a position the process will be the
same and the only difference here is that you won't use real money when you take a position.
So for this example let's say I want to buy 0.1 bitcoin. So I'll enter the size and click buy long
and the order has been submitted and you can see it down here. Now if you want to add funds to your
mock trading account click faucet here, select the coin and click add asset. So thanks for watching
and I will see you next time. In this lesson I will show you how to turn your USB stick
into a secure crypto wallet. So first off you need to download Rufus from this page.
Now for those who don't know Rufus is a free open source software that allows users to create
bootable USB drives for installing operating systems such as Windows or Linux. Next you will
need the ISO image for the operating system which you want to install and in my case I will use a
Linux distribution called Fedora. So download the ISO image from this page and the Rufus software
from here. I already did this process and the files are saved in the downloads folder.
Now insert your USB stick and open Rufus and here click select and choose the Fedora ISO image
and click open. Then set the persistent partition size. This is where your crypto wallet will be
stored. So I will set this to 5 gigabytes and click start to begin the process and you will
get a warning saying that all the data from the USB stick will be deleted. So click ok.
This process may take some time and when it's complete you will see ready here. Once done with
that restart your computer and use the boot menu option to boot from USB and you will be brought
to the Fedora Linux system which looks like this and on the desktop you can see the persistent
storage. This is where you need to put your crypto wallet. So let's download a cryptocurrency wallet
and to do that I will open Firefox browser and go to atomicwallet.io and click download
and select the operating system and in my case I'm using Fedora so I will click Fedora
and the file will be saved in the downloads folder. So I will go to the file manager and
open the downloads folder to see if the file is there and here is the atomic package which you
need to move and extract to the persistent location. So to do that use right click and open
in terminal and type sudo mv the package name slash run slash media slash live user slash
persistence. This command will move the file to the persistence location and press enter
and I also create a new folder using sudo mkdir the location and the name will be atomic
and I need to give permission to the folder using sudo chome live user and the location for the
folder name and press enter. Now go to places and select persistence and here is the package file
and the folder atomic which I have created using the terminal. So let's extract the file using
right click and extract to and select the atomic folder and click extract. At this point you can
open the wallet by going to atomic opt atomic wallet and click on atomic here to open the wallet.
Now select a new wallet and enter a password and click set password then you need to copy and save
the backup phrase. This is very important because if you lose this phrase you cannot restore your
wallet if you lose your USB stick and your funds will be gone. So make sure to keep this backup
phrase somewhere safe. Okay now I'll click open wallet and here you can see the interface which
is really easy to use. So let's see how to transfer some cryptocurrency to this wallet
and to do that I will go to binance.com on fiat and sport and for this example I will withdraw
xlm stellar by clicking withdraw here. Then go to atomic wallet and search for xlm and select the
coin and click receive. Then copy the address from here and paste it here on binance and enter the
amount. So I will use the max amount and click withdraw. Now the stellar network is very fast
so if I go back to atomic wallet you can see my balance has been updated. So thanks for watching
and I will see you next time. Okay so welcome back in this video I will show you how to restore your
crypto wallet on a different computer. So all you need is the recovery phrase which you can find
by going to settings and click private keys and enter your password and here you can see the 12
word backup phrase. Now with this phrase you can recover your crypto wallet on any computer.
So let's see how to restore this wallet and to do that just click the phrase to copy the text
and let's switch to my windows machine and open atomic wallet and select restore from backup
and paste the 12 word backup phrase and click restore wallet. Then you need to put a password
and click set password. So at this point the wallet is restored with all the funds.
Now in the previous video I have transferred some xlm stellar to this wallet. So let's search for
xlm stellar to see the balance and you can see the amount of coins which I have transferred
in my previous video. So thanks for watching and I will see you next time.
