If you've been looking for a traffic network to join and actually spend your money on,
it could be quite confusing because there's just so many choices out there and having so
many choices may end up resulting in indecision because you're just not sure as to what network
that is worthy of your advertising budget. So if you ever have troubles in the future,
what I want to do in this lecture is give you three characteristics of a good traffic network
that will allow you to run affiliate campaigns. So in this course, I'm actually going to give you
a specific traffic network that you should consider, but I also want to give you principles
that you could follow should things change in the future, or should you decide that,
hey, I want to scale up on different network and so on. So the first characteristic,
in my opinion, that you should follow when looking for a solid traffic network is volume.
And what I mean by that is that you should be able to reach millions of people,
tens of millions, potentially even hundreds of millions of people through that traffic network
if you're going to consider it. And the reason why is because if you start off on a network that
has small volume and is potentially new, the problem is if you do end up creating a profitable
campaign, you can only scale it up to so much. If it could only get you a thousand visitors a day,
sure, that might be a good start for you. But if you turn that campaign profitable,
what if you just put that effort into a bigger network that had bigger volume and that same
amount of effort would have paid off much bigger dividends? So that's the main problem that I see
with new affiliates that tend to favor smaller unknown networks because they find it potentially
less intimidating. But in my opinion, that's a big mistake because the amount of effort you put into
it has less potential to pay off big. So number one characteristic, in my opinion, there must be a
lot of volume. There must be considerable amount of reach that will help you have your ad be seen
by potentially millions of people. That's number one. Number two, the second characteristic I
believe that the network must fulfill is that it must be affiliate friendly. Now, what do I mean
by that? Well, there's some networks out there that have a lot of volume, but they're not affiliate
friendly. For example, Facebook ads, that is one of them. In the very beginning, the typical trend
is when a new network comes on the scene, they tend to allow anybody to run ads. So they'll accept
affiliate campaigns and anything else that might be considered more aggressive. They might consider
health campaigns, Bitcoin campaigns, investing campaigns, and so on. And Facebook did do that
for a while. When it started to get bigger, more people were spending money there. Bigger brands
start spending money on Facebook. They tend to get more strict and they tend to ban and restrict
campaigns that might be affiliate focused. They might be health focused, financial focused, etc.
There's just more restrictions there. So it's not as affiliate friendly compared to other networks
like native ads, for example. So that's another thing to consider is that one has to have volume
and two, it should be affiliate friendly. And the third thing I would want to recommend is that
that network should be highly reputable. Now, yes, you could consider recommendations from friends,
from peers or colleagues in the affiliate marketing industry. But I would also suggest
that you observe networks that actually have hard data as to how many campaigns are being run on
that network. For example, I talk about this in another lecture, but as to recap, for example,
if you go into your spy tool and you look at ad networks, you can see the amount of campaigns
being run on certain networks. And I'm using Anstrex. I'll talk about this in a future lecture.
And you can see the amount of campaigns being run on these native ad networks here. And to me,
that's a much better indicator because it shows the amount of money being spent on that network.
If more money is being spent on that network, then it's highly likely that it's more reputable,
it's more has more volume, it's more profitable, and so on. For example, MJID has nearly a million
campaigns on their network. I've never heard of this. Legatus, I'm not even sure how you spell
this, or Impact Ad, they have only 188 campaigns. So does it really make sense to spend money on
there? Potentially no, because it's less proven, it may not have the amount of volume and so on.
So that's the three main recommendations I would suggest to you. Yeah, I do recommend MJID,
and I'll be using MJID throughout this course. But again, I want to give you principles so that
should things change in the future, should you want to scale up? And should you want to develop
a more self-reliant type of habitual practice when you're pursuing affiliate marketing? I suggest you
keep these principles in mind, as they'll help you find newer networks or newer opportunities
for you. So those are just my recommendations. This is Paulo Perdue from LibertyBlueprint.com.
See you in the future lectures. Take care. Now, I've already made a recommendation as to what
traffic source you should begin with and start on. But let's say you end up creating a winning
campaign, and you've maximized the profits on it. And your next step now is to scale up,
but on another traffic network. Now, the fundamental principle is to first find other
networks that affiliates that are running the same thing as you are also running on. And another way
to look at what other network to run on is to simply go into your spy tool and determine the
amount of campaigns that are running on other networks. Now, I'm using Anstrax for my native
ads spy tool. I'll be going into this tool in depth on another lecture series. So look out for
that in the next sections. But for now, let me just give you a quick rundown on how this would
actually work. All you have to do once you're logged into your account is simply just go to the
ad network tab, click it, and you'll be able to see the amount of campaigns within each of these
native ads networks. As you can see, MJD is up there nearly 1 million. And then you can kind of
see the other ones that are also top by running affiliate campaigns and also brand campaigns.
But that's just one way how you get a feel as to what other network you should run your campaign
on next. So I hope that helps. This is better, in my opinion, because you actually have factual data
and you're not just relying on some thing you may have heard on a forum or online through some
random person's blog or whatever. Again, one of my main fundamental principles is to observe,
actually observe the data that you're given and go off from there. So this is another way to get
some harder set of data. And I hope that helps. Again, I'll be discussing this tool in the future
lecture series. So just stick around. Other than that, these networks and the amount of campaigns
being run there kind of give you a good idea as to how many other affiliates are running there.
You could also double check by just clicking that network and changing your filters and just
confirming that the campaigns and ads you see are definitely from affiliates. But that's about it for
this lecture. This is Paulo Perdue from liberty blueprint.com. See you in the future lectures.
In the previous lectures, I showed you and gave you fundamentals on how to find traffic sources
and how to choose a traffic source based on two factors, one being the volume and two being
whether it's affiliate friendly. Now, in this lecture, I'm going to give you an actual recommendation
so that you could actually choose it and follow along through the tech side of things when I show
you how to set up a campaign and analyze data and so on. Now, the traffic source I'm recommending
is MGID and they specialize in native ads. If you're not familiar with native ads, it's typically
the ads you see after you're reading an article online and then at the bottom says you may also
like and it tends to have images with a headline that are pretty much sponsored ads. Now, I'm
recommending MGID for a couple reasons. Number one, I've made money here. Number two, there is a high
volume of traffic on this site and it has tens of millions of visitors daily or impressions daily
based on which country you end up launching a campaign in. And another reason is because
they're very affiliate friendly, excuse me. So in other words, if you would like to launch
a campaign that is considered aggressive on other traffic networks, such as nutraceuticals,
like skin creams, diet, or make money offers like trading, or even sexual health offers like
products for erectile dysfunction, you can likely run those type of offers and creatives on this
campaign. They do have their own legal department that will look over your ads and your landers to
see if you're compliant. But for the most part, I've noticed it's been much more lenient compared
to other traffic sources or a couple mainstream traffic sources like Facebook. And worst case
scenario, if your ads or offer are non-compliant, you're not going to risk getting banned from the
network. You could simply either look at what their feedback is on making changes if necessary,
or simply launch a new campaign without any issue. Another reason I'm making this recommendation is
they're giving you a rep when you sign in, meaning you have somebody that can answer your questions
and help you with any campaign technicalities. And that rep is going to be giving you their
contact information, whether that be email or Skype, and you could easily access them.
For example, my rep helps with adding widget IDs to my campaign and asking any other questions
that I may have. And typically, they're going to be running on Ukraine time. But I've also found
my rep to be answering questions when they're not in office, when he's not even on work.
So I found them to be pretty helpful. And one thing I do want to point out is that I'm not
affiliated with MJID in any way. So when I put this link, MJID.com in the external resources
section, that is not an affiliate link. I do not get compensated when you make a deposit. And I
will also say that because I'm not affiliated, I am not responsible if there's any new policies
or features that end up not being beneficial. If I do notice anything going downhill with this
network, like traffic or volume quality, not being up to par, I'll do my best to let you know,
but I have multiple campaigns in multiple networks. So if you notice that before I do,
I would appreciate it if you message me or posted an update announcement within the Q&A
informing everyone else as well. Now with that said, I'm going to be using MJID as the platform
we're going to be launching campaigns in and running ads in throughout this course. So I
recommend that either you choose a similar native ad network or MJID itself, so that it's pretty
similar when you're following me on this whole campaign process. Now I'll be having another
lecture that shows you the process for actually signing up and making the deposit. So don't worry
about the technicalities. I'll have that covered. If you have any other questions, you can always
post in the Q&A. I'd appreciate it if you finish the course first, because your questions are
likely to be answered throughout the course. But you can also message me as well. Again,
this is Paulo Purdue from liberty blueprint.com. And I'll see you on future lectures. And I'll be
here with you throughout the journey. So don't worry, relax and just go through each lecture
step by step. And soon enough, you'll have the process down and completed. In this lecture,
I'm going to show you how to sign up and register an MJID account so you can start running some
traffic. The very first thing to do is head to MJID.com and look for the sign up button that
is in red at the very top. Once you're there, simply enter your email, enter any CAPTCHA form
if needed, make sure you click the I accept the TOC and privacy policy, then hit apply.
From there, you should get an approval, being told that you have now an email that is sent to
you in order to activate your account. Now when you check your email, you're going to be given
an activation link. So all you have to do is click on that link and you're going to be prompted to
create a password. Once you do that, go ahead and click the save button. You'll then be prompted to
log in now using your email and the password you just created. Now once you log in, you're going
to be prompted to set up your profile. For cooperation type, you're going to hit advertiser,
then enter your name, your method of communication, you can use Skype or Telegram, and then you enter
your phone number and press finish. Now, to get started, you must first add funds. And to do that,
all you have to do is simply click this add funds button right here in green. And from there, you
can enter the amount along with your payment method. So for example, if you put 1000 bucks,
you hit PayPal, hit checkout. Once you check out, the sum should be added to your account pretty
much instantaneously. Now the amount of budget you should have must be over 100 bucks, as that's the
minimum. And I'll discuss in another lecture as to how much budget you should consider. But other
than that, once you have the funds rolling, you should be able to add a campaign and start sending
traffic. Now, one word of warning. When I first signed up for MG ID, a while back, I remember
being sent an email from someone from the company with the title of native ad specialist or so.
And they tried to get me to purchase one of their services, which is that they would manage
the campaign themselves. Now I've heard mixed reviews about that as to whether it works or not.
And I don't really fully trust that service. After all, if they're so good, wouldn't they just
advertise themselves and not use your money, for example. So just be aware of that. The person that
typically sends that email is not your main contact that you will be Skyping and asking for
help with campaign setup. That's a different person. The person emailing you typically, once
you upload money and add funds, they're simply just trying to get you to pay money for that service.
And you'll know that because they're going to ask you to sign an insertion order, which is pretty
much a confirmation to pay them for a service for X amount of money. I would recommend you do not
do that. After all, we're building skills ourselves. And again, after mixed reviews about it, and I
personally never used it, so I can't vouch for that. So just a word of warning. Other than that,
for the most part, I found support to be awesome. And to reach your own support,
your main support contact will be found under the contact us section. And you'll be given a Skype
and email address for your rep that you should be contacting. And typically, it's going to be
a different person than the sales rep that I mentioned previously. So just keep that in mind.
I'm not sure if they still do that or not. Maybe I might get an email if I check on this new account
I just set up as a test. I really don't know. If they still do that, just keep an eye out for that.
Avoid it, in my opinion, unless you have the money to try it. But again, I can't recommend
it because I've never used it. And plus, after all, this course is about developing the skillset
yourself so that you can create the opportunity yourself instead of having to rely on someone
else, right? So that's pretty much it. That covers how to sign up for MGID. I'll discuss in another
lecture how much funds you should have, and so on. But that's about it. This is Paulo Perdue
from LibertyBlueprint.com. See you in the future lectures. Take care. A common question that
beginner affiliates tend to have is how much money do they need in order to do affiliate marketing?
Now, from my experience, I found that the people that tend to ask a question like this assume that
they can predict or someone else can accurately predict how much money they'll need before
suddenly they become profitable. So in other words, if someone were to give you a prediction
or an estimated budget number, it would be kind of ridiculous because you're kind of entrusting
in them that they all of a sudden have insight as to what your future is. And I think it's common
sense that there's really no such thing as a fortune teller that could predict your future
accurately, especially when it comes to affiliate marketing. So if you're willing to believe
something like that, this is probably not the course for you. You should get a refund because
what I'm trying to teach you here is to develop the skills so that you can become profitable.
You still need to develop the skills. The right mindset is to understand that as an affiliate
marketer, you're still doing a job. You're a marketer. You need to be a really good marketer
in order to get paid and earn those commissions. And that leads me to my second point, which is
that there's no way for me to predict how much money you'll need because I have no idea what
your experience level is. For example, someone that has been selling things online, that has
been earning money online in a different way than affiliate marketing, they may have a better
advantage than someone that has no experience at all. So chances are someone that has some
experience, even though it's not entirely identical to affiliate marketing, they may need less money
in order to understand how the game works and then finally turn a profit. And that leads to my third
point, which is I have no idea what your own personal comprehension level is. For example,
there's some students I know will not have English as their first language. So it may take
multiple viewings of a certain lecture in order to truly understand it. And then additional
multiple practices of that lesson. So the point I'm trying to get across here is that there's no
way to predict how much money you'll need. Now, with that said, I do have some lectures that'll
show you how you can spend less money so that you don't lose as much money when you first launch
your campaign. For example, I have lectures that show you how to target cheaper countries and
cheaper devices. I have another lecture that shows you what kind of offers that you could run on a
smaller budget. And that leads to another point, which is your budgeting is going to be entirely
dependent as well on the type of factors that are included in your campaign targeting. So if
you're targeting a different country, different device, and a different niche, you may have
different reach, and you may have different costs associated with that reach. Another thing to keep
in mind is that the minimum deposit on MJD is $100. Now, chances are, if you're expecting just
to deposit $100, you're likely to lose $100. Because again, it comes down to the previous
factors experience level, how will you comprehend this material, you're targeting and so on. And
also another thing to keep in mind is that the minimum daily spend or minimum daily limit that
you could put on an MJD is $50. Now, I also have another lecture that shows you how you could
potentially spend less than that per day. And you should check out the whitelisting lecture regarding
that. But again, all I can say is that there's 100% no way to absolutely predict how much money
you'll need before you can make a campaign profitable. It's going to be up to you, your effort,
your ability to understand and put things into practice continually and repeatedly and fine-tune
your process before you can actually turn a profit. Again, entrepreneurship, whether that
be online, offline, it's still the same thing. It's all about creating value for the advertisers,
product owners, affiliate networks, and the people that are going to actually purchase what you're
selling. It's not about doing the least amount of work possible or spending the least amount of
money. It's about creating value. That's why we get paid. We create valuable advertisements.
We create a match for potential users and product users, and we help product owners sell more
product. So again, I just want to stress this point enough because I feel that new advertisers
typically have the wrong mindset, which leads them to disappointment and leads to them leaving
the game altogether with the wrong mindset where they don't really progress any further than they
wish. So that's just my viewpoint. Again, you cannot predict 100% how much money you'll need.
So with that in mind, I suggest that whatever money you do invest, you should expect to lose
it because it's going to be a learning game. You're going to lose money at first.
And then when you lose that money, hopefully you follow what I teach you in the following lectures
where you understand where you're losing money and where you're making money and how to fine-tune
your campaign so you can remove what is costing you money and then increase the bids on what is
making you money. So just keep those in mind because with the right mindset, with the right
understanding, with the consistent practice, chances are if you learn, you put things into
action, you're going to end up succeeding eventually. But those with the wrong mindset
will tend to give up much, much earlier and sooner. Also, another thing to note,
if you do need extra cash, I do have a free course called Digital Flipping that you can check out
where you can have as little as $10 to your name, reinvest that and make an extra few hundred bucks
a month. That could also help you with building up your ad budget. But again, you should expect
there to be a learning curve. Expect that things will not go as smoothly as you dream
and to be focused in reality and the understanding that there is work. You need to add value. You need
to put in the study so that you can succeed and be great at what you do and get paid for it.
So that's the lecture. Hope it helps. If you have the right mindset, you're going to get through
this and you're going to eventually succeed. This is Paulo Perdue from LibertyBlueprint.com.
Take care. I'll see you in a future lecture. One of the biggest problems I see that new affiliates
tend to do is that they'll launch campaigns without really understanding or being reassured
that it's going to work. Now, one of the biggest principles that I believe in that successful
affiliates follow is that they truly understand and observe what is actually working, not what
they believe works, what they want to believe works, but they actually look at data and let
the numbers speak for themselves and just follow that data without any emotional attachment. So
in this lecture, what I'm going to show you is how to find the top converting or best performing
countries within the MJID ad network. Now, the reason for this is because if you have a basis
for which countries are more likely to convert and profit from, well, then if you launch a campaign
within those countries, you're more likely to succeed than another affiliate that just launches
a campaign because they heard that, oh, this country may work or whatever. But with this
approach, you actually have some data to back you up so you're more likely to succeed when you launch
a campaign or multiple campaigns to come. So the way to find and access this data is to first go
to this URL here. Now, I'll have this URL for you ready in the external resources section so that
you can easily click on it and bookmark it through your own account. Now, next thing you're going to
want to do when you go through this URL, you're going to want to click this tab here that says
best performing. Once you do that, you're going to be given a list of 10 countries that are
performing the best on MJID right now. Now, this list of countries does update on a daily basis.
So I would recommend that if you're new to this, that you check in a couple times a week or at the
very minimum once a week so that you have an idea and you get to see the trends as countries
change on this list or which countries come and go throughout the years and the seasons. For
example, I could tell you right now, because I'm familiar with this list, just months ago,
Czech Republic wasn't on this list. Germany tends to pop in and out of this list. So you're going
to want to keep an eye out in here for opportunities and emerging markets that you could potentially
capitalize on. And another thing to notice is that these countries right here, these are the
countries you should start with when you're looking through your spy tool and to see which
campaigns are currently hot within these countries. That does a few things. Number one, perhaps the
most important data that you could actually get something going profitably. And number two,
it gives you focus because there's so many countries and so many devices to choose and
launch a campaign in that it makes things much easier as you can narrow down and get a better
idea as to what to focus on and what will actually work. Now, another thing to notice is that this
column right here says platform. On MGI-D, you could target three major platforms, one desktop,
two mobile, and three tablets. You could target all these platforms separately or a combination
of any of the three. Now, one thing to keep in mind here is that not all countries will have
each of the three platforms listed as best performing. For example, desktop US is here
and desktop mobile and tablet is here. But some countries like Italy only have mobile and tablet
yet their Italy desktop is not considered best performing. Now, that's one thing to keep in mind.
And again, as you keep an eye on this list, you'll notice trends change like for instance,
US desktop wasn't on this list last week. Another thing to keep in mind is the cost per click or the
average cost per click column. Now on MGI-D, everything you see here is going to be listed
within US cents. So this here is 19 cents. This here is 14 cents, this is 9 cents, and so on.
Now I would recommend that you save this data within a spreadsheet or whatever you prefer.
And the reason for that is because this is going to be a huge help when referencing and spying and
launching campaigns. Lastly, there's going to be an impressions daily column. So for example,
for US desktop, this shows 37.5 million potential impressions daily. Now that's the potential
impression daily cap, your ad may not be shown to that many people depending on where your product
category that you're promoting falls under. As certain MGI-D partners that run the native ads,
they only select a few different categories depending on what niche market they're
targeting with their content. But this is a good indicator to know what sort of volume is possible
within those countries. For example, US has tens of millions of potential daily visitors,
but Czech Republic only has less than seven. So that's a great thing to keep an eye on if you're
looking to either scale a new campaign or see which countries can have the most potential volume
and daily profit potential. So that about wraps it up in this lecture on how to identify the top
countries and platforms you should be targeting and spying on. And I'll show you in the upcoming
lectures, how to put this use this information to use when you're using a spy tool, and also
other little insights. So this is Paulo Perdue from liberty blueprint.com. Thanks for watching
this lecture. I'll see you in the upcoming this lecture is an extension of the previous lecture.
So I recommend you complete that. And the basis, again, the fundamentals is that we want to work
with data that we can rely on and use so that we know what countries and devices to spy on and what
campaigns to launch within those countries. Now, we're gonna be using the same link that I shared
in the previous lecture. Again, I'll have that ready for you in the external resources section
so that you can bookmark it for yourself. And the only difference this time is that once we go through
this link, we're going to try the tab here that says hot opportunities. Now the difference with
this is that with this list of 10 countries, it's going to show the current top 10 hot opportunities
where the price has actually dropped. So you can get more traffic or much cheaper clicks. And in
fact, some of these countries were considered best performing perhaps weeks ago last week,
yesterday, months before, or depends on whenever you start following this list. And that's why I
highly recommend you view this best performing chart a few times a week so that you can get
familiar and further capitalize when you see a drop in prices on countries that, you know, they
may have been best performing, but number 11, they just weren't on that list or number 12, or so on.
So this is another chart to keep an eye on, because you're going to see a lot of reduced
cost here. So if you're starting off with a smaller budget, this could be another list to
follow for you. Because let's look at the examples here, Vietnam, chips are less than two cents per
click. Again, the cost here all in US dollar cents. So here, this is three cents. And so on,
you'll even see India here on the mobile tablets for only one cent. And the crazy thing is,
even though this traffic is really cheap, there's still a lot of impressions possible that you're
actively shown to, for example, Vietnam, there's more than 100 million India, there's more than
200 million impressions daily. So again, this is another chart to keep an eye on, especially if
you're looking for cheaper traffic. Next, you're going to want to try looking at this chart here
that says low competition. And this is a great chart to look at as well, because it tends to
have cheaper traffic too, because less advertisers are targeting these countries and platform
devices. And the good news is that it's not always the case that there's less competition here,
because they don't make money, or a lot of advertisers are just scared or tend to avoid
these countries for whatever reason. Because I know for a fact that Thailand, Malaysia,
Indonesia, you can get millions of converting visitors each month. And these countries and
devices were on the best performing list. So that's just something to keep in mind. Again,
that stresses the importance of understanding what's working on this platform. So again,
check out that best performing list frequently each week. And also just like the hot opportunities
chart, the cost per click in these countries and devices are very cheap as well. Yet you could
still get a high volume of impressions and potential conversions. If you set up your
campaign correctly and spy correctly within these campaign countries and devices. Now,
you may have a concern that because you don't live in these countries, you may not speak the language
or understand the culture. If that's a concern of yours, don't worry, because I'm going to show you
how to launch a campaign using language of these countries on your landing page and ads, even if
you have no clue how to speak the language or write in that language. For example, let's say
you chose Thailand, I'll show you how to copy ads in Thai and landing pages in Thai. And if you do
end up making changes on your creatives or landing page, I'll show you how you can have them
translated for cheap and quickly. So again, if you have any concerns or questions, don't get
discouraged because I'll be here in the q&a section. You can also send me a message privately
if you wish to do so. And I'm also in the Facebook group five days a week. So check out the group
Liberty dojo on the Facebook group channel. And other than that, again, keep in mind that these
two charts the low competition and hop opportunities chart is great. If you're looking for
cheaper traffic that could still convert, and you could still get a high potential of volume in.
So I hope that helps you. Again, this is Paul Perdue from liberty blueprint.com.
I'll see you in the next lectures.
