Welcome to day number four, riding across Baja. We spent the night last night in what was that
town called? San Ignacio. You got motorcycles rolling. You got the van fueling up. The weather's
beautiful. Everybody's happy and getting along. Today is going to be another glorious day and
I'm excited to take you along with me. Rosalia seeing the Santa Barbara Cathedral. It's pretty
freaking rad. Oh your hair is beautiful by the way. Thank you. So what is that? Is that a French
braid? It is French. Yeah I noticed. It's Frances. Frances. This chapel, church, Senor Eiffel. You
heard of Eiffel Tower? Yeah. This was designed by him in France. Wow. Apparently people didn't like
it so they took it apart and sold it to the Mexicans and they shipped it over here on a boat.
What do you think about the ride in? This is awesome. The sea is beautiful. It is gorgeous
huh? I have a Facebook group called Modos Murals and so everywhere we go we take pictures typically
with our motorcycle in front of murals. What do we got here? Oh honey. Honey. This is my kind of place.
Yes. The nectar of the gods they say that is. It's good. I found what I was looking for.
A little roadside cafe. Just pull up on the street. Walk up and get a bite. So they do drive-throughs
in Mexico a little different than America. Check it out. You drive literally through the building.
You got your chips on one side, your drinks on the other.
You want to use the toilet? It's gonna cost you five pesos. This is where we're gonna have lunch
today. Like maybe the most beautiful RV park I've ever seen. I feel like I need to open a place here
bring veterans. I think they'd like it. Hey look at that's like kind of like an earth roamer type
kind of like almost. Look at this dually with the dirt bike on the front. All these other dirt bikes
and then they got the tent cabanas down here too. What's this beach called? Playa Santis Park.
What do we got here? We got well it says rompe trusas which means like
break your panties. Break your panties hot. Your britches. All right how much you gonna put on?
All right. Pretty good. Not bad? Not bad. You're gonna try it too? Well these guys
I mean this stuff's already spicy now. I'm already sweating. Still nothing huh?
It's not. You're not gonna start screaming and running off to the water or nothing?
It's starting to look like it. Is it getting hotter? It's not bad. He's got a drip over here.
Look at the beauty. Just gorgeous all the way around us.
It's under here. That is something. Beautiful. Baja's definitely a special place. Is that a smile I see?
Made it. Awesome. Best part of the trip so far. And I know what you're all thinking. How could we
ride out to such a beautiful spot and not get in the water? We did. This room is literally
on the ocean. Look at that. Beautiful location. I think that is it for one day. Tomorrow is our day
off. So maybe some shenanigans if there is I'll bring you all along. But I'm gonna use the day
to get some business done. Get ready for my motorcycle destinations. If you guys don't know
what that is check it out MotorcycleDestinations.com. Absolutely amazing day. I'll see you all in the
morning. And there it is after a day of rest and relaxation enjoying Loreto. We are mounted up
and ready for the road. We're ready. You ready? And these two ladies just crushing it out here
across the Baja. We're taking it down. Another mission built. I don't know why they would build
something like this way up here. It seems like there's not a population but I'm sure
there's a great story. I'll see if I can dig it out. So what do we know about this mission? Built
by Jesuits originally. Why would they build a mission up here away from all population?
There's water. Fresh water. There's a fresh water spring on the other side of town. They built a
canal that brings it through town. That's why you see all this growth.
The graveyard is always next to the church. Cemetery is separate from the church. It is crazy to have all
this beautiful green vegetation and planted gardens in the middle of the desert way back
here just surrounded by death and dry and here you've got a lush green. What are we looking at
here? Olive tree? About 200 years old. The things the olive tree has seen. That's wild. In this missionary
orchard grapes were grown which made it possible the first wine production of the Californians.
That's quite the resume. Gracias. Green beans in the motherland.
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Here you can see the irrigation they've got running along.
What is that? Is that carnitas?
Welcome to La Paz. We've all made it. Thank god. Safe and sound.
Chase. I like the bone marrow. What are you eating there? A little bone marrow. You're eating bone marrow?
That's nice. Oh lord. Yeah it's inside the bone. It's real narrow and it's marrow.
Very nice. All in all this trip has been executed and put together beautifully by my friends over at
Ride Adventure. I did not know what to expect in the beginning but in the end I know that whatever
I had anticipated it could have never measured to the real life experience itself. If you have not
yet you're definitely gonna want to go check out episodes one and two of Baja on Down. Stay
tuned to my channel and we'll see you in more epic adventures around the globe.
